Future tenses are meant for opposition candidates. The government in power should be saying ' we have' |
nkem12345:The YES-P participants can relate to this. It appears BOI isn't much interested in the start-ups |
Premium Times should not be deterred in pursuing Kemi's case to a logical end. The Presidency's loud silence reeks of double standard in the purported fight against corruption. Why should anyone be surprised anyways, has Babachir been prosecuted? Has anyone heard from Maina lately? |
It isn't coming as a surprise. Good luck to him. |
I hope Lai has constituted the required boards in his ministry. Otherwise, Oshiomole might be coming for him next. |
It's necessary to take the stock |
It looks like there are crutches against the wall. |
Aren't there crutches against the wall? |
Its alright |
I remember Bamangar Tukur |
Now is the day break. I made a thread here when the UTME fee was announced https://www.nairaland.com/4255607/call-downward-review-utme-fee on why there should be a downward review of the UTME fee and other sundry charges. We don't need to wait till next year to begin to raise grievances. Let's start now. Pray, what's ASUU doing about the Post Utme exploitation happening under its nose. Any institution who feels that JAMB hasn't done a good job should be at liberty to conduct her own assessment at no extra burden on the already exploited candidates. Let's not even talk about the Acceptance Fee yet |
Someday, this movie shall end |
It's a ritual exercise that happens anytime elections draw nearer and immediately after elections Next episode comes in late 2019 and in 2022. Anywhere Belle face |
This last minute desperation from both ends calls for serious review of tactics. Saraki already has an alibi to hide from invitation citing the invasion, they played into his hand. I do not have any iota of pity for the characters involved. I'm just worried about the desecration of higher offices in the land on the alter of bitter politics and the deployment of state apparatus to fight personal battles. Precedence is being set. |
It will be foolishness for APC not to learn from the costly mistake of PDP in 2015. I cannot but pity the R-APC members sha. They are at a very difficult cross road now. If they remain in APC and the party wins in 2019, they're in hot soup just like OBJ dealt with Atiku after 2003. If they defect and APC still wins, they're in double trouble. |
I am convinced that PMB isn't what he was projected and packaged to be in the build up to 2015 general elections. Kemi's case is a huge embarrassment or how do we explain the fact that it took the President six good months shopping for her. But the blame will still go to PDP for messing up greatly and to GEJ for being acutely docile and ineffectual so much that GMB became an option in the first instance. Except integrity has another meaning, no Nigerian politician has it yet. |
Even though many people are stil pained about the needless loss of lives during his shambolic recruitment exercise, the reality however is that he only needs the vote from just nine LGs from his state to become a Senator. If he is popular and well supported by his god father, Abba might be a senator in 2019 regardless of how anyone outside the nine LGs feels Shouldn't he be made to answer for the sham recruitment exercise under his supervision? |
I still maintain that JAMB registration fee should be reviewed downward. Imagine charging #2500 for data correction. There's no justification for charging that much for an examination conducted by a government agency, the validity of which is still a year |
Dear Gen Gowon, I sincerely hope you have enough buffer to contain the barrage of insult and dirts that will be thrown at you from now on. Good morning sir. |
The topic should have been 'Police Deny Attacking Melaye First ' Because from the story, the Police actually admitted to opening fire at his convoy in response to attack from some men in his convoy. It's hard to trust the account of any of the parties involved. |
Same Fayemi that shunned the State's Assembly Commission of Inquiry |
His last and final chance Atiku pursuance of the elusive presidency is a lesson to politicians. Opportunity comes but once. If he had leveraged on the clout and the strength he had in 2003 to contest, he wouldn't have been running from pillar to post now. In any case, good luck to Turpin. |
Hmmn. I pray that this man won't be pushed to suicide. The shame, guilt, regret coupled with the loss of his source of income might make him lose his sanity. He needs the support of his family, friends and church members like never before. A moment of indiscretion could ruin reputation built over the years. Lesson well learnt. |
Ordinarilly, being Tinubu's cousin should not strip him of his right to vote and be voted for. Skewing and manipulating the process to ensure his emergence is where the problem lies. I hope Osun people will be allowed to chose their governor in peace without inducement and harassment. |
Hope it isn't too late. Oshiomole should visit his tormentor (Ganduje) too. Tinubu was given a task to placate disgruntled members sometimes ago, a task well frustrated by Oyegun. Let the alignment and realignment continue. |
Now this is becoming irritating. PDP should simply present their evidence at the tribunal and quit this social media ranting. How time flies! Who would have thought that PDP will be at the other end of a rigged election. Truly, power is transient. |
And he may be re-arrested. |
In the build-up to 2015 elections, Obasanjo was hailed and called the navigator of the newly formed APC. EVen Tinubu who was hitherto his avowed enemy alongside PMB and other APC leaders thronged his residence to consult him. I do not know of any Nigeria that has benefitted immensely from PDP as Obasanjo, yet he tore his membership card publicly and tactically sided with the opposition to defeat the party (Good for Nigerians though). Whatever the case, OBJ should by now respect himself and remain an elder statesman that he is. If this new coalition is able to grab power, same treatment he is being subjected to now will still rear its head. If Baba had initiated a good succession plan when he had the opportunity, this small boys will not be 'using' him to do ten-ten now. |
A government that cares about PR and its ratings would have commented and take action on the Minister's certificate scandal. But hey, this is Nigeria. |
It should have been the other way round |
Sanni and his co-travellers should quit this grandstanding and defect if they have the balls to. This back and forth will only make him lose relevance and respect the more. |
About 12 hours to the election. How I wish Ekiti electorates can just collect the money from the duo of Fayose and Fayemi and then shock them by voting a third popular candidate. That will send serious signals to politicians nationwide |
