Who would have ever thought that Amosun could be this restless. I can't remember how many times he had met with the president since the disputed primary election. No man should play God. His travails should be a lesson to other politicians who may want to see themselves as emperors. The Royal fathers are mostly at the beck and call of the governors. No one should be surprised.
|
lenghtinny:Something like that. Plus this governor was a former Senator and will be vying to return to the Senate next year. |
gozie112:I didn't mention anybody's name o. Ehn ehn. |
Ordinarily, one wouldn't want to take side when politicians fight because they sure know how to meet behind curtain and setlle rifts. However, it appears the Assembly men and the by extension , the party are stretching their luck too far. The humiliation of the governor at the primary is enough for them to relish, attempting to impeach him now will amount to hitting a man while he is already down. People are always sympathetic to the underdogs. Ambode, at this period, is a perfect example of how not to be a stooge governor. It's appears they have got him by the balls and can toss him around like a lame duck. He can still fight dirty if he has the gut. |
Tinubu? Kaduna? In any case, Nigerians are tired of these people blowing hot or cold. There are just two things expected of these leaders. I. Prevent the crime from happening by deploying necessary government apparatus II. Even when the crime is absolutely impossible to prevent, deploy government apparatus for the timely apprehension and prosecution of the perpetrators No one is impressed again by the usual condemnation of these crimes. Prosecute the killers. |
I know a South Western Governor that will be glad to see the end of Oshiomole's reign right away. He has been unsetlled by the rejection of his anointed candidate. |
They are now new creatures, and their previous blemishes have been washed away. All hail the Messiah of our time - 'the unbiased' corruption fighter! |
Is anyone really expecting the presidency to take action on Ganduje's Babanriga Bullion Van gate? Even the ones under the presidency's nose were ignored let alone a state governor that he has little or no control over. |
Sure |
The BMO might need to look deeper into Buhari's cabinet and close associates for the true 'errand boys' of Atiku. Atiku has paid his dues in Nigeria politics and is bound to have loyalists or errand boys as some may have it. |
CilicMarin:You can't be sure what efforts are in the offing as regards the cases you mentioned. After all so many of us weren't aware of the efforts to reconcile Obasanjo and Atiku until it became public. |
The greatest damage a person can do to himself is self deceit. PMB is already demystified, the fortune of APC is dwindling and the earlier they realize, the better for them. |
..and replace him with Rev Kumuyi. Didn't he visit PMB recently. Clowns! I think Kukah should even be commended for initiating seeing to the fruitful end of the reconciliation of the two prominent Nigerians. Isn't that also a part of the mandate of the National Peace Committee? |
MURIC is right. I think there is something called freedom of association |
Let the fireworks begins. He should ensure his lawyers cross their ts so that the case wont be dismissed on mere technicalities without examining its merit. |
Agreement is agreement. If APC actually entered such agreement with Omisore in exchange for his support, then so be it. If the Ijeshas want one of them, they can fie!d such person in any other parties. |
Why won't Shittu have the gut to sue everyone when his employer is still feigning ignorance of the entire case. Shittu shouldn't have survived a week as a Minister after being screened out by the party. It was a huge indictment. |
The Court rooms are there for a reason. INEC has spoken and if APC feels shortchanged, the party should approach the court for proper interpretation. |
OGD seems to be Atiku's Man Friday |
North West? |
Really? I tend to align with those that disagree with the OP's position. If the geopolitical zone of the VP does not matter very much as put forward by the OP, what stops Atiku from picking his Vice from North West then? Can PMB ditch Osinbajo for a South South person in 2019? |
Edcure1:VP kwa? That'll be Dead on Arrival. OGD has corruption case too. |
Where is OGD? Why not put verifiable link. |
Really? Kwankwaso boxed to a corner already. Let him lick his wound in a corner since he can't return to APC at this moment. |
The picture is symbolic. The national attention Atiku is getting should worry APC. |
It's seasonal. It will resurface by December when Christmas beckons. That's how they roll, all of them. |
Nobody will have to speak to him in Hausa language to explain the meaning of simple economic terms. Now Abati, don't you have a forgiving heart? This is clearly a hit below the belt. |
Premium Times on the beat again. The journalists of this media house should watch their back o |
He'll never leave. He might just threaten the party a bit since he has the party structure in Ogun Central and Ogun West in his pocket. Amosun won't leave APC. |
gameboyo:Including Ogun. Elrufai and Sanni won't let Kaduna Central rest |
