Actually, Amaechi was a staunch supporter of GEJ until GEJ back stabbed him. Rivers State produced the highest number of votes for GEJ's first election and Amaechi led active campaigns for GEJ.

Then GEJ turned on Amaechi. He fought him from remaining the head of the Governors forum, GEJ stole Rivers Oil wells, thus reducing the states allocation and hindering Amaechi's work, he suspended Amaechi from PDP.

Also, Amaechi could not stand the level of corruption of PEJ and her wife GEJ and he decided to fight them to save the country and his political career.

So I want that guy to tell me who is the Judas. Instead they go around spreading lies to deceive the Rivers People.

Amaechi cares for his people and no politician has ever fought for the Rivers People like Amaechi.

Ameachi started fighting GEJ right from when yaradua was sick. He went on air saying that GEJ should not be made acting president. All because he wanted to be the first south south president.
When it came to the election he had no choice. Cos himself and other northern governors told GEJ that their governorship election must come before the presidential. That if GEJ returns them, they in return will ensure votes for him. That was the elections of 2011. Ameachi has always been driven by greed and ambition.

It is quite a shame that Amaechi of all people will instigate the cancelling of the project. Why not insist that the project be completed?

If he feels the project was inflated he should ensure that those involved are meant to answer for it.

I am not from Niger Delta but truth be told, the people of Niger Delta deserved more than Nigeria as a nation has offered them ( though they are also the architect of their misfortune).

Amaechi no matter what you do to please the North, SW or SE by the end of the day you will be left with your people.
