Business › Re: CBN Sells Dollars To BDCs Below Market Rate At ₦1,101/$1 by Lifemanage: 10:00pm On Apr 08, 2024 |
Owon: Wow! So low and cheap, yet these greedy abokì people will sell it to us @1,300 and above.
Government is responsible for all these inflation and FX instability.
Give the Dollars to banks. Monitor and mandate them to sell to people who needs it.
It's ridiculous that one can't use the naira ATM cards to make any online foreign purchase as it used to be before. Government made access and demand for FX very difficult, yet they want the naira to appreciate.
The naira ATM card is extremely useless beyond Nigeria market and this is the main reason why people are desperate for dollars and will buy at any amount. This strategy seems to have strengthen the naira more than when it was been given to banks |

GloriousGbola: I am lost because the navy operates in coastal waters. How does this fall under their jurisdiction? No ships are involved. There is no evidence of stolen product or fuel from illegal refineries
This is a matter for dpr or the police
I suspect they have been buying diesel from this man and had a falling out with him and are now engaged in a dubious trial by public opinion.
The moment the fg allowed the army to 'conduct an investigation' into the deaths of its soldiers, they set this up to happen.

Since CBN started selling to BDCs before the rate began to fall. Meaning the banks are not the real market and they are not helping matters. They should sell to the BDCs then. |

Romance › Re: Why Can't My Husband Stop P0rn by Lifemanage: 8:58pm On Mar 20, 2024 |
Longdon1: I got married when I was 19 and my husband was 20. Now I’m 25 and he’s 26 and we have two kids (5 and 3).
Four years ago, while I was pregnant with my second son I found out he had an onlyfans account and it really upset me. I made my boundaries clear and explained that I was not okay with this because he’s paying them, but I was still okay with porn. Then a couple months later I found out he was still using onlyfans and on top of it had subscribed to one of my friend’s onlyfans. I talked to him again and explained that I would leave him over this. Another couple months go by and he’s STILL using onlyfans. At this point he had spent like $500 on it and I was obviously upset. I ended up leaving him and moving out with my two kids. A year went by of coparenting and eventually we talked it through and ended up back together. A couple months into being together I saw he had made on subscription to onlyfans, so I confronted him. He apologized and I was so confused because I literally just moved back with him so I ignored it that time.
It’s been one year since then and earlier this week I found out that he got an email from onlyfans. The email said his subscription was ending so I ended up changing the password and getting into his account. Turns out for all of 2023 he’s been subscribing to onlyfans. When I confronted him, he was just kind of listening but had nothing to say. I told him I needed to think and have no confronted him since.
The issue is in all other ways he’s a pretty decent partner. He drives me everywhere because he knows I don’t like to. He cleans, takes care of the kids, works. But I just can’t understand why he has to keep doing this and at this point I feel like I almost have to leave bc he clearly is not respecting me or my boundaries. On the other hand it would suck to leave because he’s my bestfriend and I love him and I’ve never really had to do life without him. I don't know why most women are crazy emotionally and in matters of logic |

predictor1: What do you think can be done about this current food inflation? Do you think it's speculation too? Right now things are scary. Imported inflation, when foreign goods which we do not manufacture are high due to high dollar rate; farmers had to make theirs expensive as well to meet up the cost of imported goods. It's mainly market dynamics. When the rate improves, we can self sufficient without relying much on imported goods |
Business › Re: Naira Strengthens Against The Dollar, Sells At N1400/$ On The Parallel Market by Lifemanage: 7:04pm On Mar 20, 2024 |
PureFace1: The economy can still be bad even if 100 naira equal to 1 dollar.
What's important Is the employment rate.
There's no point if 100 naira equal to 1 dollars but hardly any jobs to make money from. There is so much work in Nigeria but few jobs simply because people love stealing and fast money in Nigeria . If people begin to diligently work for others, jobs plenty |
