Afe chose not to file civil suit, that no amount of money can remedy the harm Dele had done. So he chose the pursue criminal defamation case in which Dele committed a crime under the criminal code section 373 and 375, in the case, it's the police that will investigate and prosecute the case. That's what police is doing here.

I read through your reference. It didn't support your claim. Denied oral bail, how is that wrong, they should file the bail application and come to argue it and it would be determined on its merit. You guys are just bullies, trying to intimidate the court and the aggrieved.
The best way to go is to handle Dele officially which Baba Afe has done

They only adjourned the bail hearing and wasn't denied bail. I think Dele should have weighed all these possibilities. He comes to me as a human right lawyer and never an advocate.

Dele is in court, he should go and prove his case, it's very simple, and can go help him also. He's in court already. You can't dictate to the aggrieved how to seek redress.
He's gone to court on the basis of Nigeria Criminal Code section 373 and 375 and not even under the cyber crime Act 2024 as ammended (so we all thought before).
The accused made so many defamatory statements that I do not see how he's going to prove all of them. He's a lawyer and should have known the possible consequences
