SUPREME COURT: IKPEAZU MOVES ABIA ELDERS, SENATORS TO VISIT DAURA thenigerianvoice.com
Abia State Governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu has become more desperate in a bid to curry the favour of top security agents and judicial officers in the country to compromise Justices of the Supreme Court who are set to commence hearing on a case of alleged submission of tax information and forgery of tax document filed against him by a contestant in the December 8, 2014, Sir Friday Nwosu.
At the present, the governor is said to be worried over threats by Lawal Musa Daura, the Director General, State Security Service, SSS ,to deal with him over suspected leakage of information about an Asokoro mansion secretly bought for him by the Governor.
The security chief is highly worried over the development and has threatened to withdraw his support to the Governor.
Pointblanknews.com had last week ran a story on how the Governor allegedly raised a N5 billion war chest to buy over anyone who has anything to do with his case still pending at the apex court. The governor is said to be desperate to the extent that he is willing to empty the state’s treasury to any person or group who has access to the Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Justice Walter Onnoghen, sources in the state said.
It was gathered that the governor had arranged a visit of Abia elders, selected monarchs as well as the three senators representing the state to visit Daura town this weekend to placate the DG SSS who hails from the area. The DSS DG is said to have accused the Governor’s camp of leaking information about a mansion at Asokoro. A source told Pointblanknews.com that the matter has also leaked to the Presidency and other security agencies in the country.
The source further told Pointblanknews.com that some Northern leaders had publicly confronted the top security chief at a meeting on the information about the Asokoro mansion allegedly bought for him by Ikpeazu which has become a matter for the national and international media. Shocked by the leakage, the DG SSS refused uttered a word in denial, a source privy to the issues told Pointblanknews.com. Worried by the situation and possible withdrawal of support by the top security chief, Ikpeazu has empaneled a group of Abia stakeholders comprising senators Enyinnaya Abaribe, Mao Ohuabunwa, Theodore Orji, Dr. Gershon Amuta and Eze Eberechi Dick who is the chairman of South East council of traditional rulers to visit Daura this weekend.
The Governor has gotten some Abia elders to accompany him to Daura at the weekend to pacify the angry Lawal Daura. The elders, who had left Abia two days ago under the pretext of attending the wedding ceremony of the Senator Abaribe’s son in Abuja, would sneak into Daura town at the weekend to meet with the DG SSS. The delegation is set to have resolved to persuade the security chief to pardon the governor and help him reach out to the Supreme Court. On the night of 24th April, 2017, before the Supreme Court judgment, Uche Ogah vs Okezie Ikpeazu, which held May 12, 2017, the DG SSS was alleged to have taken Ikpeazu to the residence of one of the heads of the hierarchy of the judiciary in the country.
The visit was fixed for 12.30am to keep away prying eyes. At the visit, sources said the DG SSS pleaded with the high ranking judicial officer to deliver judgment in favor of the governor. A notorious female judge from the one of the South South states was present at the unholy hour visit where gifts and huge money in foreign currencies allegedly exchanged hands.
Happy for done deal, Ikpeazu allegedly rewarded the DG SSS with an eye popping mansion in Asokoro, a highbrow area of the Capital City, Abuja. Meanwhile, some groups have resolved to keep watch and expose the bribe cartel who are hell bent on helping Ikpeazu to escape justice over the brazen forgery of tax forgery documents and submission of false information.

Your heart is like a living bag housing all the good and evil thoughts which comes across your mind - the door way..
My advice: guard your heart with all diligence for out of it flows the issue of your life..
From there comes hatred and love..
Why should you be ruled by evil when you were created by love.. God Almighty.
Except you have been predestinated to destruction.. |

You didn't tell us who is wisdom
For the record: Wisdom is a person and not just a subject, most Author like king Solomon referred to wisdom as she, but I will tell you that wisdom is CHRIST
Who existed before anything was created and share equal status with God Almighty.
Philippians 2:5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
2:6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
2:7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
2:8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
2:9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
2:10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
2:11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
And so, before anyone would enjoy wisdom that man needs to know and comprehend who he is...
I am CHRIST JESUS the word which God prepared to be revealed at the end of all time.. |

Attack me, not Igbo, Sultan to northern youths vanguardngr.com
Sokoto – Sultan Sa’ad Abubakar has said that if anyone plans to attack the Igbo who are resident in the northern part of the country, such attack should be directed at him, first.
The Sultan said this when the world Igbo union leader, Dr. Mishack Nnanta, accompanied by resident Igbo chiefs, paid sallah homage to him at his palace.
“If anybody or group of persons plans negative attack on Igbo, he or they should attack me first because I am against the so-called ultimatum issued by the Arewa youths that Igbo should leave the north,” he said.
Abubakar observed that “restructuring” to his understanding does not mean galvanizing or dividing Nigeria, but making “adjustments here and there for equal accommodation of all and sundry in Nigeria for equity and fair play religiously, socially and economically.”
He further observed that the agitation by some people for disintegration “cannot solve any of the problems facing the country” and that “dividing it into many parts is not the solution for the married of problems bedevilling the nation because this will lead to towns and villages clamouring to become independent.”
He suggested that the way forward was a round-table dialogue and not carrying arms which would never lead to peace. Agreeing that there were genuine complaints that border on marginalisation, the Sultan however said that the way out was peaceful resolution.
He blamed the nation’s politicians for most of the problems faced by Nigerians saying.
“They come to you during campaigns, promise you heaven in your house, air conditions on all roads and milk entering your mouth hourly without any effort from you. As soon as they win and go to Abuja, they start planning comfort for themselves while those from the rural areas move to state capitals, abandoning those who voted them,” he lamented. Nnanta earlier said that Igbo were peace-loving Nigerians whose stalk-in-trading was engaging in their businesses.
“Igbo cannot leave peacefully in isolation from Nigeria. They should work towards ensuring proper integration, reconstruction as promised by Gen. Yakubu Gowon. They may agitate for creation of more states in the South-East to meet up with other geopolitical zones of the country,” he said. https://www.vanguardngr.com/2017/09/attack-not-igbo-sultan-northern-youths/amp/

Politics › Adamawa APC Chieftains Stranded In Government House by lightblazingnow(op): 3:51pm On Sep 02, 2017 |
Chieftains of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Adamawa State were stranded in Government House, yesterday, as Governor Mohammed Umaru Bindow shunned all visitors coming for Sallah homage.
It was the first time in the history of the state a sitting governor would fail to receive visitors on Sallah homage in Government House.
Bindow left the state capital about 10 am for his hometown, Mubi, when party chieftains and other institutions were waiting in Government House to pay the Sallah homage, as is the tradition in the state.
When The Guardian visited Government House, it was deserted by officials, including security operatives, while the politicians were seen discussing the development in angry tones.
One of them from Gombi Council, Alhaji Musa Abubakar, said that the governor would soon give detailed account of his action to the electorate.
“We will all meet him at the polling units and we are going to use our votes to show him the way out of Government House. This has never happened in this state that a governor will refuse to see visitors for Sallah homage,” he stated.
Bindow, speaking earlier on Monday during the swearing-in ceremony of local council development area administrators, said he was not desperate to return to Government House for a second term. https://m.guardian.ng/politics/apc-chieftains-stranded-in-government-house/

Politics › Governor Ben Ayade Rushes Home To Avoid Impeachment by lightblazingnow(op): 3:41pm On Sep 02, 2017 |
Governor Ben Ayade rushes home to avoid impeachment nigerianeye.com Governor Ben Ayade of Cross River State arrived Margaret Ekpo International Airport, Calabar on Wednesday after staying away from the State for over a month. Investigations revealed that the Governor hurriedly returned to the State after the threat by Cross River Transparency Network International, (CRTNI) which called on Cross River State House of Assembly to immediately commence his impeachment process over alleged illegal foreign trips.
The group had alleged that since assumption of office, Governor Ayade had traveled overseas more than any governor in the history of this country under the pretext of looking for investors for the state.
The coordinator of the group, Comrade Jonathan Agbor, said it has become imperative for the State House of Assembly to impeach Ayade for violating constitutional provisions of frequently travelling abroad without handing over to his deputy just as he squanders state funds on such trip.
Agbor said, “Since Ayade came on board, he has spent more days in Abuja and abroad than he has spent in the state, adding that out of 365 days in a year he spends less than 100 days in office”.
Consequent upon this, the Governor according to them has abandoned his constructional duties of administering the state to the deputy governor, Prof Ivara Esu, just as he left unattended to major issues that needed his attention.
The group, however, threatened, that failure of the State House of Assembly to commence impeachment process on the Governor, they will be left with no other option than to organise a one-million man march to protest against mal-administration and illegal travelling.
Sadly, when our correspondent visited the Governor’s office on Thursday, the place looked scanty, there was no presence of governance, and only security personnel and few junior staff were seen. All the offices our correspondent saw had their doors and windows opened as there was no electricity to power the air conditioners and fans. The giant generator in the complex we were told had no diesel.
Besides no diesel, the entire environment was unkempt, even as sources hinted that the private firm that won the contractor to keep the place clean have not been paid for several months. At various offices visited, plain sheets to write memo were not available as the workers claimed “We have not been given impress for several months, we recycled plain sheet, that is, we use the back that had already been used, we just cross the first page and continue with the back”
On August 19, 2017, a Church, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints embarked on All Africa Service Project where members cleared bushes that harboured dangerous animals including snakes and other reptiles in the Governor’ office and Ministry of Finance and removed gutters.
Regretting the attitude of government functionaries for not keeping the affected areas clean, the President of the Nigeria Stake of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Dr Victor Bassey said “Governor’s office is part of our community and haven seen what have been left unclear for quite a long time, we deem it necessary to come and start the service project here, before moving on to Psychiatric Hospital. There is much to be done here”
At the time of filling this report, Governor Ben Ayade and some principal officers were not in the office. He was alleged to have been very angry with some of his staff over the way things were being run while he was away. It was gathered that there could be cabinet reshuffle within the next few weeks. http://www.nigerianeye.com/2017/09/governor-ben-ayade-rushes-home-to-avoid.html?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=twitter&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+Nigerianeye+%28NigerianEye%29

Biafra: Police Deploys Personnel To Southeast, Ready To Arrest Nnamdi Kanu naijaparrot.com
The Nigerian Police said it has mobilized more officers to the South Eastern and the South South part of the country
According to the police, this was in a bid to prevent a breach of the peace, which may result from the activities of Biafran agitators ahead of the upcoming Anambra State governorship election.
The police also said it was waiting for the court to give a go ahead for the arrest of the Indigenous People of Biafra leader, Nnamdi Kanu.
Nigerian Government had last week demanded that the Federal High Court in Abuja revoke the bail granted to Kanu.
Speaking to Punch, the Force Public Relations Officer, Jimoh Moshood, said “We have made additional deployments, particularly in Anambra State, because of the upcoming governorship election and also to other South-East and South- South states to ensure that IPOB did not actualise its threat of stopping the election.
“So also, any pronouncement from the court would be strictly enforced, irrespective of the persons involved.
“Nobody is above the law, so any court pronouncement would be enforced by the police.
“We are strictly monitoring the situation for any eventuality from the court, since there is an ongoing judicial process.
“We are not leaving anything to chance; we are to ensure there is law and order and any pronouncement from the court would be strictly enforced.
“We are watching the situation closely. We have made enough deployments and we are going to act appropriately.
“We have yet to deploy helicopters because the situation is not ripe for it.” http://naijaparrot.com/biafra-police-deploys-personnel-to-southeast-ready-to-arrest-nnamdi-kanu/
