So basically this verse is to reiterate that God's word stands sure and he can never LIE, what he says hr will do.

Many Christians are yet to have an appropriate knowledge about the Rapture and The Second Coming of Jesus Christ, and there are some Christians who are even thinking they are the same.

First of all, we need to know that The Rapture and The Second Coming are two different events that will happen at different times.

The Rapture (from the Latin verb 'rapere', which means 'to transport from one place to another') is the catching up of all believers for a glorious meeting with Christ in the air.

"Behold I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed - in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality." (1 Corinthians 15:51-53).

Also see 1 Thessalonians chapter 4: 15-17

So, The Rapture comes first, and is an event whereby the Lord Jesus comes for His Saints (dead and living), and we shall meet Him in the air.

The Saints are those who have accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior of their lives and are living in holiness. The Saints are those that are living a CONSISTENT holy and godly lifestyle, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. They are the ones who will be transformed to meet Jesus in the air, while unbelievers and lukewarm Christians will be left behind.

Now, after the rapture, the Saints will proceed into the sky to participate in the marriage feast of the Lamb, where rewards would be given to everyone present according to his/her deeds on earth.

What Happens To Those Left Behind?

Immediately after the rapture, the Great Tribulation will begin, and the Antichrist will be given power to torment those left behind. The Antichrist will force people to receive the mark of the beast (666) either on their forehead or arm.

Those that won't receive it would be vehemently tormented: They won't be able to buy and sell, they will suffer violent persecutions with no one to help. And according to the graphic illustration given by the Lord Jesus about the Great Tribulation (Matthew 24:15-28), many won't be able to withstand the torments for long (that is, they can't help but to receive the mark of the beast)

BUT: THOSE THAT WILL RECEIVE THE MARK OF THE BEAST WILL BE ETERNALLY DAMNED IN THE LAKE OF FIRE AT THE APPOINTED TIME.

Don't forget that while the tribulation is taking place on earth, the Saints that have been raptured are with Jesus Christ in the sky enjoying the marriage supper as well as their rewards.

THEN: At the end of the marriage supper in the sky and the Tribulation on earth, THE SECOND COMING will take place.

The Second Coming is the public revelation of Jesus Christ, when He comes WITH HIS SAINTS (those who have been previously raptured and have participated in the marriage supper in the sky) to set up the Millennium (see 1 Thessalonians 3:13 and Matthew 24: 29-31)

Here, those who have suffered just because they won't take the mark of the beast during the Great Tribulation, will now have a new hope.

My Advice:

Jesus said the day and hour of these events are not known, but will happen anytime, and it will come like a thief in the night. He gave us some signs we should watch out for, and if you look at the scriptures, you will see the signs keeps coming to pass (Please see Mark 13:

That means, if Jesus Christ can predict those things and TRUELY, they keeps coming to pass, then His promise of the rapture and second coming will also come to pass!

So, if you are yet to receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior, please do so now, as tommorow might be too late.

And for we that are already Christians, let us allow the belief that Jesus will return one day, to guide us within godly conducts.

How sure are you that you can withstand the torment of the Antichrist during the great tribulation? The best thing for you is to live a lifestyle of holiness that will make you rapturable with Jesus Christ, and go on with Him to enjoy the marriage supper.

Recently had a light chat with my mom.In the course of the discussion, we swerved to talks about culture as regards paternity of kid(s).That's when she revealed a current paternity case currently going on with one of her good friend.

The son of this woman had pregnanted a young girl(23 years??) and denied the pregnancy. In fact, he first advice she aborts the baby,unfortunately her aunt was quick to notice all the preggy symptoms of the niece under her care.

The young man was called to know what's to be done about the pregnancy, which he denied outright.

Fast forward few months later,the aunt who owns a clothe line had an encounter with a customer from the west who asked after the niece(guess he had eyes on her too), only to be told she is carrying unwanted pregnancy.

To cut the stories short,he married her with the pregnancy .All the rites paid and settled.

Now here is the issue,prior to getting married to the girl,the father of the girl explained he now has the right as a father to the unborn child by culture.

Now,my moms friend just find out through her son that he has a love child outside,a son.There's a serious legal battle to claim the child.The family has vowed to take bavk the child by all means possible.The father of the girl alerted his son in law about the development, and he has secretly made preparations to jet his now pregnant Igbo wife and "his" child out of the country to join him permanently in Europe.The son bears his name too.

Who wins this battle?

Ekiti State Governor Mr. Ayodele Fayose has signed into law, the bill prohibiting secret cults, terrorism and prescribing death sentence for any one caught in the acts.

While appending his signature on the bill at the government house in Ado Ekiti, Mr. Fayose said the singing was a confirmation of the unwavering commitment of the state government towards combating terrorism across the tertiary institutions in the state.

"From now, any person who is a member of a secret cult, whether or not the person is in possession or in control of any offensive weapon but commit the offence, is liable to conviction to death.

"Any person who gives financial or material support or assistance to a secret cult or in any manner sponsor the activities of a secret cult, commits an offence under this law and is liable on conviction to imprisonment for life" he said.

The governor further explained that anybody who facilitates secret cult meetings or activities in places such as houses, night clubs, hotels and other residential areas would be committed to life imprisonment.

He added that buildings where any cult related activities is held would be forfeited to the government while the owners of such structures would be sentenced to five years imprisonment without an option of fine.

The Ekiti state helmsman who re-emphasized his administration's zero tolerance for cultism and terrorism in the state said lives and property of the people would continue to be protected.

Motivation isn`t a one-size-fits-all thing. What works for you may not work for others, so the key is to pick what fits you better and use it over and over. The following are 11 techniques you can use when feeling down, or unmotivated. Pick the ones that resonate with you and try them.
HOW TO MOTIVATE YOURSELF
1. Cut fear out of energy
Starting quickly is the key to getting lots of things done in a very short time. Mel Robbins calls it the 5-Second Rule and Grant Cardone calls it Starving Fear Out of Time. Regardless of the labels, you must train yourself to act fast despite any negative self-talk.
To learn this:
Pick a habit/skill that you want to build
Set a trigger
Commit to act as quick as possible once that trigger is on.
If you want to go to the gym, for instance, let your alarm clock be the trigger. Once you hear it, get dressed ASAP and leave the house. Once you`re invested, you`re less likely to get back. (Sometimes I search the hamper for the dirtiest t-shirt I can find and wear it for a minute so I`m either going to the gym or taking a cold shower… Don`t to that ).
2. Don`t leave your mind alone
Talking loudly to yourself can distract your mind from negative thinking. One study found that
basketball players passed the ball faster when they motivated themselves through loud self-talk which was also seen by another study as a huge sign of sanity.
You can use affirmation to lift yourself in down times or simply state your goal out loud for several times as some people found that if you can beat procrastination by simply repeat the words: “Do it now” until you take action.
3. Shrink da Ting
Chunking down your scary goals into smaller ones will motivate you. If you want to lose 50 pounds, focus on the first ten, lose and celebrate them, and then move to the second ten. If you chunk down anything that scares you then nothing will stop you because there`s always some point, to begin with.
4. Self exposure
The key to self exposure is to realize that everything you do —good or bad— serves a reason. Ask any relationship coach and they`ll tell you that some people unconsciously overeat to reject themselves instead of getting rejected by a potential partner, whereas a woman may pick a fight with her boyfriend just to win back his attention.
Humans are so complicated, and you must understand your own hidden agendas to reach your peak. How? Through journaling.
5. Parkinson Law
Work expands so as to fill the time available for its completion. – Parkinson Law
Sometimes you feel unmotivated when you look at how long it`ll take to finish a task. To avoid this, you can set shorter deadlines and challenge yourself to work as fast as you can so you can finish early and enjoy more rest time.
7. The Da Vinci Way
This was how Leonardo Da Vinci motivated himself to work. Instead of working on one project, he would jump from one to another so work feels less boring.
You can do this by changing your schedule so that, instead of working on a single project for three hours, you work on six projects, 30 minutes each. It won`t always be practical, but this can help survive when work feels like a burden.
7. The Hemingway Way
Anytime you feel hesitant, take the first step and leave. There`s a huge chance you`ll come to it later because humans are inclined to finish unfinished businesses.
Ernest Hemingway used this technique to write every day. He would leave a line or paragraph unfinished so the next day he feels motivated to work.
8. Go 10X
Set a big goal that challenges you and the thrill will motivate you. Aim for 30 sales calls/day instead of three and challenge yourself to write 100,000 words in a month instead of 30,000.
The key here is to realize that even if you fail, you will still do better at 10X than at one or 2X. You may not achieve the bigger goal, but your new results will always outperform the original goal.
9. Avoid the sad and the unlucky
This may sound harsh, yet it`s true. Many studies have found that the company you keep determines the type of life you will have. If you hang around healthy, funny, creative and financially successful people, there`s a big chance their positive traits will rub off on you without even realizing it.
10. Watch what you eat – Seriously
“Once you optimize your personal energy, all you need for success is luck.”
Eat as clean as possible. A poor diet will increase fatigue , reduce your energy levels and lower your productivity.
Exercising, eating healthy and getting enough sun exposure will make you more motivated more productive, more creative, more positive, more socially desirable, and more able to handle life’s little bumps.
11. Avoid the bushes
A tough job will become effortless if you first identify future obstacles and plan to override them. The difference between clarity and obscurity is like the difference between taking the highway and driving your car through clumps of bushes. The first will make you drive at full speed whereas the later will get you stuck.

Those who loves the evil ways, there is only one way to get to where you are going, but there is this evil voices which tries to swift you of the rewards of obedience, therefore rubbing you off the Blessing which does not fade away and far from decays. But you know there are folks who just love to disagree, of course they lack understanding and knowledge of the truth, yet they won't admit that they need help. They keep pilling up punishment for not only THEMSELVES but for as many as are in partnership with their evil company. Corrupting good manners, the same way they corrupted your country Nigeria.

Those who love monies and have an insatiable craving for wealth will never see the face of the righteous one who dwells in the light which no mortal men can see nor have seen, all of their scheming is all about making a business out of you, that means to gain from you, instead of building the Saints, they are caught up in reaping from the Saints. They are not going to make it all the way to heaven, never. Because their God Almighty is their stomach, and the glory they seek is their shame

I once nurtured the idea of not wanting to get married and just find some woman to have babies for me, continue to frolick around town with babes and friends till forever after reading several write ups online about disadvantages of being married. A particular Nairalander who goes by the moniker ‘killjoy’ helped fuel this thought even more.

But then again I started thinking deep and realized it will do me more harm than good if I stay single.

Life is full of problems, that’s the way the universe designed it. As human you will always be faced with challenges and problems, some bigger than you, others smaller. If you are married you will have problems from your spouse, kids, in-laws, etc, if you are not married you will still have problems from your baby mamas/fathers, the family of your baby mamas/fathers, your kids, at work, church etc. So I decided to get married and have problems rather than remain single and still have same problems.

Below are some of the many reasons you need to get married

You can’t beat nature
Yes, nature has designed we sapiens to be with one partner and form a family with children and you cant beat that. Trying to beat it will result in dysfunctional children. We are social creatures and we can only live a fulfilled life when we have loved ones around us. We are designed to by nature to live with spouse and children. We are not animals, we are humans

Loneliness
I will be 31 in few months and have friends within my age range. Most of my friends are between 29 and 33, and many of them are already getting married. I now attend their weddings almost every weekend, and I am always among the groomsmen or the best man. Very soon they will all be married and I will be left alone. They cant go to the club or bar with me like before, we cant hang out like we used to, once its 9pm they want to go home to meet their wife and kids or other times they are not just interested in going out, they want to enjoy the weekend with their family and I will just sit their lonely. No wife, no kids, nothing. If I have a baby mama, she most likely will be in custody of the kids.

As for ladies who want to remain single. 99 percent of Your friends will be married and that is when your eyes will clear. You will be lonely and probably miserable. They talk about how they are going on a vacation with hubby, you open your facebook to see their family pictures, you go to church to see them come in a family car and you are just there alone. You are hanging out with them and their hubby calls them to return home in time to get the kids dinner and get them ready for school, they leave you alone to wonder and wander.

Loneliness will set in one day, you will look back and blame yourself for walking the lonely path. Your chances of living long is even reduced. You will be 50, 60, 70 years one day, how will you cope? You might end up taking your own life.

Family pressure
Don’t take away family pressure. It will never leave. Your parents will attend wedding ceremonies of other kids in the family and will always pray to do same for their kids. Their fulfillment in life comes after they spend heavily on you to graduate with a certificate and finally get married and they can now give you their final blessings. They will never stop reminding you about bringing a wife or husband home. Your parents even stand a risk of being mocked by the society for having a child who hasn’t gotten married at age 50. I am even more sorry for you if you are a woman for family meetings will be called on top your head. Aunties, uncles, cousins etc will go to mountain because of you, and at family gatherings/meetings they must bring up your topic. In the end you will remain a menace to the family, you may never be celebrated despite even having lots of money.

You can’t win society
That’s society for you. A cliché goes thus “If you cant win them, you join them”. So just join the rest of the society cos you will never win.
Everyone expects you to get married once you hit 24 as a female and 30 as a man. You wont get the deserved respect from people, you will be mocked, you will always have to bury your head in shame. Everyone thinks it is abnormal for you to be Miss so and so at age 35 instead of Mrs. You will always have to explain your idiosyncrasies to people, always want them to see things from your viewpoint why you don’t want to get married. No matter how rich you are, everyone will think you are not complete without a man or woman to call a spouse. If you doubt me ask Linda Ikeji and Don Jazzy. Once Linda Ikeji says something not pleasing to people, they will bounce on her with this everly unchanging lines “Madam go and marry” same applies to Don Jazzy.

99.2 percent of the people will not buy your bullcrap idea. So oga, madam, you cant win us, never. Just join us.

Think about your children
It is so funny how many of you who don’t believe in marriage want children and that’s all. You are selfish. Think about yuour kids. They will grow up to see their friends returning home to their mum and dad but they have just one parent. It is understandable if you are divorced, widowed or separated, at least that some reasonable excuse and you can get married to another person later who will act as their foster mum/dad. But your kids ask you why is mum or dad not living with you and your answer is that you didn’t like the idea of marriage that’s why you only made their dad donate some sperm into your vagina to give birth to them. Your kids will be mocked at school and home, and the blemish might never leave them forever. Your kids are better raised by the two parents than you alone.

Your sexual life
So you don’t want to get married but want to keep enjoying sex. You will contract infections, life threatening infections. As a man, today na tall girl you carry come, tomorrow short one, next tomorrow dem see you with light skinned, the next time na dark babe, for how long would you live that way. You want to continue to live an irresponsible lifestyle till 35, 45, 50, 70 years of age? All your friends are married and enjoying fine sex with their wives but you are chasing everything under the skirt. That’s not a good life bro.

As a lady how would you cope with sexual gratification. So after getting sperm donation into your vagina from men to give birth to children you hit the street to start sleeping with every Tom, D!ck and Harry. Once you reach age 40 your beauty is already greatly diminished and men of your age range wont find you appealing again, you are now left with no choice than to hang out with young boys of 25-30 years of age, paying them for their service as a sugar mummy and that’s if you have the money to maintain such life. So it’s a life of sugar mummy you want to be living abi. Soon your news will spread all over the metropolis and everyone will know how irresponsible you are. By the time you are 50, 55 your body don old finish, you will sit down and think abut your miserable life in pity.

Conclusion
The advantages of getting married far outweighs the opposite option, so by all means my brethren, marry.
And I read how many of you think it is only the African mentality that states that a person must be married. You are wrong. I expect you to know better. You watch movies, read books, novels, read stories on social media etc, you should know that even whitepeople in advanced countries think like this. White parents wants their kids to get married. The white society largely think it is foolishness to remain single, ladies from 30 years of age are mocked in America and England for being single, their families are worried for them. It is a general thing and not pertinent to Africa. The other day I read on DailyMail Uk how a 33 years old lady commited suiced because no one has asked for her hand in marriage. Even their celebrities who we think don’t give a hoot about marriage end up settling down, they might get divorced a thousand times but they belive so much in marriage they don’t mind doing it 10 times in the course of their lives. Do your research well before drawing any conclusion.

I was really not comfortable in my rational self, back in the years that i was taught the Bible and that i preached to sheeples from the Bible. I possibly couldn't be numbed, to the pricking of contradictions, absurdities and denial of reality whenever i ponder on the biblical teachings.

From the very words of Jesus, as quoted above, it will take minds that are perfectly immersed in pool of illusion and delusion, to find pleasure in gathering where this contradictions are taught and the Bible where it's written.

God-idea is a significant source of confusion. No group of people, are as confused and self harming, as those infested and afflicted by Yahweh-Virus.

If you're sceptic of God-idea now, especially the Yahweh variant, it's sign that your deliverance from God-delusion is near. You will find your God-burden lifted and the yoke of illusion broken off your neck, if you accept Reason into your life, as your personal Lord and saviour.

Whether in Lagos or in rural communities around Nigeria, the world is either getting better or hasn't changed. We only think it is getting worse but the truth is that every generation thinks they are worse than the previous one. Look at today's Nigeria when people speak wistfully about times past when there was free education and life was easier and all, forgetting that those that lived in those times had either none of the comforts that are freely available now like mobile phones, computers, electricity etc or it was too expensive for them to afford. The fact on ground is that the world is improving and is getting better at managing disasters than before. Also, look at now, when disasters occur, the world bands together to help the affected community rebuild and get back on its feet. In times past, if you got struck by disaster, you were pretty much on your own.

THE spirit creature called Michael is not mentioned often in the Bible. However, when he is referred to, he is in action. In the book of Daniel, Michael is battling wicked angels; in the letter of Jude, he is disputing with Satan; and in Revelation, he is waging war with the Devil and his demons. By defending Jehovah’s rulership and fighting God’s enemies, Michael lives up to the meaning of his name—“Who Is Like God?” But who is Michael?

At times, individuals are known by more than one name. For example, the patriarch Jacob is also known as Israel, and the apostle Peter, as Simon. (Genesis 49:1, 2; Matthew 10:2) Likewise, the Bible indicates that Michael is another name for Jesus Christ, before and after his life on earth. Let us consider Scriptural reasons for drawing that conclusion.

Archangel. God’s Word refers to Michael “the archangel.” (Jude 9) This term means “chief angel.” Notice that Michael is called the archangel. This suggests that there is only one such angel. In fact, the term “archangel” occurs in the Bible only in the singular, never in the plural. Moreover, Jesus is linked with the office of archangel. Regarding the resurrected Lord Jesus Christ, 1 Thessalonians 4:16 states: “The Lord himself will descend from heaven with a commanding call, with an archangel’s voice.” Thus the voice of Jesus is described as being that of an archangel. This scripture, therefore, suggests that Jesus himself is the archangel, Michael.

Army Leader. The Bible states that “Michael and his angels battled with the dragon . . . and its angels.” (Revelation 12:7) Thus, Michael is the Leader of an army of faithful angels. Revelation also describes Jesus as the Leader of an army of faithful angels. (Revelation 19:14-16) And the apostle Paul specifically mentions “the Lord Jesus” and “his powerful angels.” (2 Thessalonians 1:7) So the Bible speaks of both Michael and “his angels” and Jesus and “his angels.” (Matthew 13:41; 16:27; 24:31; 1 Peter 3:22) Since God’s Word nowhere indicates that there are two armies of faithful angels in heaven—one headed by Michael and one headed by Jesus—it is logical to conclude that Michael is none other than Jesus Christ in his heavenly role. *

Let's face it, the world is getting better if anything. Life expectancy is increased, there is more order in society, it's even easier to monitor the activities of people hence preventing them from engaging in undesirable behavior. Worst case scenario, the world is pretty much the same as it has been.
