Good day,

I want to share my story,please keep me anonymous. I broke up with someone that I was in a relationship for almost two years. The relationship was the best I ever had. I think I am still in love with this lady but something happened that made me leave. And that has made me to have trust issues with ladies and I am finding it hard to trust even as I try new relationships.

Dupe (not real name) and I knew each other since 2016. We met during NYSC. I love that she was a homely and godly girl. After service year,I got a job but Dupe could not find a job for almost one year. So,I got her some money and she started a buying and selling business. I liked how industrious she was. She started an online business too. She would deliver orders to customers at their homes or offices.

Early this year,she made a delivery to a man and claimed that the man ended up raping her. I was livid and wanted to report the matter to the police but she said she did not want this to come out cos of the shame and stigma. I tried to convince her but she would not bulge.She begged me to let things be. I then asked her to tell me who the man was,she initially did not want to but maybe cause she did not want me to be suspicious,she told me but made me promise not to do anything about it.

God knows,no man will hear that his wife to be got violated and will do nothing about it. I tracked the man down and confronted him. He laughed and told me he never forced my girl. That it was a mutual agreement. He told her he liked her and before he could buy stuff from her,he wanted to sleep with her. At first,she resisted but he made her a handsome offer and she finally agreed. I told him he was a liar and I would deal with him but he said,go and ask your LovePeddler girlfriend to tell you the truth.

Now,this whole revelation was very hard on me. Here I was,dating this lady for two years with no s*x cos we wanted to wait until marriage and here someone else is claiming she willingly gave it to him? I could not take it and I asked her. Of course,she denied it. I then asked her to let us report to the police to prove her innocence but still she refused. She refused on the grounds of the shame and stigma of being known as a rape victim. She said,my family would also find out and hate her. I know it will be hard if people find out the truth but I did not care,I just wanted justice for her and wanted to make sure she was not lying.

This disagreement between us caused a strain in our relationship. It was clear there was trust issues. We could not get past it. She would cry and say that I am insensitive to her plight. I was torn between believing her and sticking with her.

Please, I have been thinking about this lately and don't know how to go about it.

I have this very loud neighbor who always likes staying in my room most of the times.

Well, I'm not complaining about that because I need company sometimes..

But what I really cannot put up with him is the fact that he likes flirting with numerous girls and always talk about them.

He can chat with a girl for a whole 8 hours and not get tired.

Even right now, as I type, he's in my room at this time (11:11 pm) and has been talking with a girl for over one hour.

And I get pissed off with that because it irritates me. Like he can come as early as possible in the morning to gist me about his latest hit.

I want to tell him to reduce his visits to my room since he doesn't have any sensible discussion asides from women.

But I don't know how to go about it, so I don't sound rude.

I am married with one kid and another one on the way. I do two weeks in and two weeks out job and I earn 200k per month. We live in our own house and my wife runs a boutique business in a store owned by us so she doesn't pay rent for the business. We have constant electricity free of charge so we cook with an electric cooker. The problem here is I give her 50k monthly to take care of the house while I settle every other stuff including stocking the house with bag of rice, groundnut oil, palm oil, medical bills, cable subscription, school fee, clothing, etc and I also bring provisions and toiletries when I am coming back from work yet I get complains of the feeding allowance is not enough month in month out and I am getting fed up.
