chinese workers are mostly college-educated(not yet university), they master a lot of professional skills.

chinese production lines are massive semi-automatic which churns out 100 times more products than the small manual mills in india or vietnam.

although the initial investment and threshold is much higher in terms of advanced production lines, they yield more profit per single product.

a small mill in india produces 1000 items everyday, while chinese competitor 10 million per day. they are sold at the same price, because they are the same items. chinese earn 1000 times more profit. let alone machine-made items are more quality, and chinese workers are skillful for machines.

if i am an investor, i would prefer china to india. even though chinese request 7 times more salary, their daily output is 1000 times more.

and, you may find all items from china, from a nail to the space station .

suppose nigeria or india wants develop medicine industrial, you need to provide everything , from the ingredient powders to the syrup coating capsule....the paper package, the logo printer, the ink to print the logo, the each component of a printer...

the whole industrial is beyond any country' ability . not even america can do it. it needs hundreds of million workers and experts. your small countries do not even have such a number.

as to fake products from china, that is for developing country buyers only. chinese use the best quality , they ship the lesser ones to third world countries, because ppl from there can not afford standard products.

being a developing country itself, china enjoys the privilige of being the party to be the acceptor of the high tec patents from the developed countries if the latter choose to invest in china . that is how all the third world countries do . india only allows west medicinal companies to invest before they transfer the patents. and india supplies the labors and land. that is why made-in-india covid vaccines are actually for the West , and last month india was short of vaccines though it produced a lot. they can not use them for india without the permission of america and EU.

why the world hates china so much ? it has been escolating its industrial levels, more focusing on high tec sectors which aim to compete directly with the West. meanwhile, china is jettisoning some poorly-paid, environment-hostile jobs to other less developed countries, say, vietnam, india....

just because india and vietnam are georgraphically close to china, they take the outsourcing jobs from chinese bosses,and the finished products will be shippd back to china, as well as West countries. as to the fake products consumed by indian, are made from local india mills or the from the leftover of the chinese-invested factories. of course, the upper class indian will buy the real china products , which are really made in china and sold in china and used by chinese.

go check your xiaomi phone, maybe it is an "adapted" version for african consumers. at least , i know the xiaomi in india is not the xiaomi in china.

look at your Viju milk . that is one of the growing business from chinese investors in africa. but, viju milk , as well as Tecno phones, are too low quality,for chinese consumers. they can not survive in china.

in the future, as the container shipment between china and africa be more mature, and the education level of local african improves, africa will be another competitor with india. made-in-india or africa, and sold to china and West.

but the starting and running costs of a manufacturing company in this country is terrible.

you have to assume there is no electricity,
purchase lands at very high cost,
bad/damaged roads that discourage transportation,
inconsistent availability of materials needed,
unnecessary tax from government,
and illegal tax from locals.


The major problem is light.

As for land Nigeria has one of the cheapest lands in the world
Road and etc are stuffs we will conquer with time.

Our major problem is simple, our investors are not having money like their counterparts abroad.

Secondly the Nigerian market (Sales is slow) due to our financial challenges.

If we cut down on imports things will balance a bit.

Things are not too bad as they claim.
these are just a few of the problems encountered on a daily.
