No I don't any longer, lived 4 years in Buenos Aires, 5 years in Rio de Janeiro but now we are in Colombia.

Hey thanks for your help.

Flight was smooth. Traveller now at destination. Not a single problem all through the flight. It wasn't easy to book but it was a smooth but long flight according to what I was told.

What I meant by details was .... You have to be specific about your flight plans... Aka The actual airport and flight number with which you arrive in brazil and the airport and flight number with which you depart to Quito (each flight route may be different). Generally, they depart from international side, but sometimes (especially if using Gol etc), you can be unlucky and they don't.
Oh okay.. I get you now. I'll check with the airline and let you know
Do you live in Brazil?

Congrats G.

What do you suggest ? I'm already feeling frustrated being back.

"You made 9k working". Did you have the right authorization?

As much as I wanted to advise you to buy property in Nigeria, don't buy a "rentals" if you won't be around to monitor it.

"Onigbese", plenty for naija especially when they know you ain't around. They will use your rental anyhow, not pay rent and run away with your funds. (True life story bro)

You're better off buying a land, do all your documentation of the said land in hope the flip it in nearest future (the downside is inflation and exchange rate). The land option is a less headache.

I'm assuming what you have is a visit visa. There's no way I can advise you positively without you breaking your Visa rule. What I can only encourage you to do is visit. Maybe something would come up that will change your immigration history.

Be aware that you showing intention overstaying your visit visa (AND TALKING OPENING ABOUT IT) is already a ground for entry refusal. And you're very easy to find ( A Nigerian passport holder, previously visited from August to Nov, has an Angola visa or entry permit stamps on his passport and possibly traveling with wads of cash). Thread carefully, mind what you say on public forums.

This is the kind of comment I have been waiting for. Thanks bro. I applied for asylum. Hired a lawyer who helped me with the asylum application. She is so good. Entered USA on 26th March, 2018, Applied for asylum in JUly 2018, Biometrics in early September 2018, Interview late September 2018, they said result of my interview will be out in 2 weeks. I waited till January 2019. Saw it in my mailbox. It was granted. I screamed so loud. I have received my social security card, gotten my state id, gotten my work permit, applied for college to start nursing program this summer, my church here is assisting with scholarship. On 14th January of next year i will be eligible to apply for green card and receive it in my mailbox within a month. Once i get it i'll pause college and join US national guard. One thing with Nigerians is they are so quick to call someone a liar. This is a public forum, I dont know any of you here so why will i lie to strangers? See how this young man congratulated me and I took my time to explain to him. The othjer person called me liar pants on fire telling me to post proof. I should go and snap my USCIS letter and show to you because you are an immigration officer. I could have started raining abuses on you but as an American(Pennsylvanian to be precise), I will never stoop so low.

As a female, I get irritated when I read comments by males objectifying the woman body.

He's 18. A virgin.he probably just have fantasies. He most likely can't even differentiate which hole is which if he happened to see the opposite sex naked.

Cut him some slacks. Let him enjoy his late teenage fantasies.

Bro, I love this thread already. I am waiting for my oat ceremon, then passport then I'm off to Naija too. Already following.

Could you digress and include some "flashbacks"( Nollywood style) of how you came to America and how you became a citizen and the journey. Job prospects then also the story of you visiting home now and it all seems strange to you lol.

Thanks

It took me a week to study and memorize the whole thing (as a result of school work). When I was certain I had crammed the thing, I approached her and told her I was ready to take the next test and that was when I received the shocker. She told me she would not be promoting me because people came and told her that ever since I had passed the supervisor test, I started "carrying shoulder up" that I don't work as hard as I used to and that my workload has dropped drastically. That she would not promote me until after peak season (January). I was dumbfounded and couldnt speak. I felt hurt that someone would go to this length to make sure I dont get promoted, I could fee my anger rising but I calmly asked her where she got this information from and she gave me two names: one guy and one lady. The most hurtful part of this all is that the guy who went and told her this garbage is the same person who would be acting all nice and friendly to me. .

Frank, you're too naive about America. Don't let the fake smile and seemingly friendly conversation fool you. Mark my words,
She's actually looking into getting you fired.

Actually, this period would have been the perfect time to try you for a supervisor role while you still help out package handlers.

Watch your back.

I've been canvassing everyone to vote. I don't understand why the relatively young Americans aren't interested.

Sadly, can't vote in this election till 2020.

The really good news about Trump administration and currently political climate is that it has gotten more people involved in (talking about) politics

Guys what do you think about the huge caravan headed for the usa

I don't see a big deal about it. It shouldn't even be a talking point.

They turned themselves in at the boarder, fingerprinted and their details taken

Asylum claim filed.

Asylum accepted or denied.

Ones denied go back home. Anyone that stayed is violating immigration law. Simple.

People that cross the boarder illegally don't come in a "caravan"

So, why is it a talking point?

It definitely can and will get worse because Trump will unfortunately get a second term.

Pence is rumored to actually be worse than Trump if that’s humanly possible. At least towards immigration and civil right.

But I do support this his initiative though.

The child of a citizen and that of a foreigner should never have the same legal right. US is one of the few industrialized country that still does this. It’ll put a quick end to pregnancy tourism by Chinese and others. I’m in full bore support of this.

May be it’ll force impoverished countries like Nigeria to rethink our medical facilities.

I whole heatedly disagree with you.

It will create an even more systematic form of oppression.

Knowing the US and it's history with oppressing minority group and others , it this ever happened, the implications will be more severe than civil rights/ housing discrimination issues.

What happens to kids of expatriates that has been on H1b, J, O and other kinds of visas for years?

So I finally got a deal and offer up don't have deals around me.

Facebook Market place is where the deals are. I got a Note8 for $320
Personally, I think it is more secure. You can easily know the post that looks suspicious from the person's FB profile, ratings, age of FB account, location etc.

Texas was hell on earth for me with its terrible desert heat, endemic mental illness, poisonous biting nasty things like rattlesnakes, brown recluses, scorpions and swarms of wasps. One man's paradise is another's hell.
If you are doing your own business it's great with low taxes, low cost of living, cheap fuel and labor. For wage slaves it's absolute hell with the extrmely hostile work culture and intolerant mentality.

You sum up what I've heard about Texas perfectly. All those regulations that will help the environment and health of the citizens that they got rid of.
