you have to cancel the existing appointment mrsnoname: Please I would appreciate if someone replies me. I have four questions. I’m trying to renew my parent’s visiting visa. And I have checked the eligibility requirements, they are both eligible for interview waiver. I submitted their Ds-160 forms sometimes last year, but the problem is I have changed my address since then, so the address they have on ds160 for where they are going is my old address.
When I tried to fill another one and edit the confirmation number on the appointment, I noticed I can only change for my dad alone not my mum since he’s the principal applicant
1. How can I also change the ds confirmation number for my mum 2. For those that have scheduled interview waiver appointment, I couldn’t find the option to schedule appointment for them on my dads account. Do I have to cancel preexisting appointment to see that option
3. What are the documents to bring along to USA consulate for Dropbox
4. Can I have someone else submit it for them? |

lily156: Please help. My sis has an existing appt for B1/B2 for 2023 Abuja. Should she cancel and try the IW since her visa expired in 2020? For anyone wondering what to do, go ahead and cancel existing appointment. Then schedule new appointment. The question about 24 months is not a glitch...people are just reading it wrongly. The question is did your visa expire more than 24 months ago. The answer should be NO because eligibility is for those whose visas expired within the past 24 months. Then answer the following questions and choose your date. There are only 4 dates left in Feb but there are plenty of slots available for each date. |

Search for "NIGERIA/AMERICA IMMIGRANT VISA PROCESS FOR CR1/IR1 CR2/IR2 K1/AOS/ROC/F1-F4" on Facebook. The whatsapp is a private one and they are only adding spousal applicants now ... I don't know why. Mrkelvyn08: We have the same DQ and same PD.. Please what group is that? I'll love to join |

Of course I know that I'm current. It is still up to the Lagos consulate to schedule interviews. There is a backlog. I was just providing my stats to others so we all know where we stand. dammodee911: Your PD is supposed to have been way passed current cause according to the visa bulletin which has been stuck in the same place in the past 6 months or so, F1 cases that are currently current is for PD DEC 14 and below. Your PD is NOV 2013, so you’ve been current. Perhaps someone else can shed some more light. |

As of Nov last year, F1 was at Jan 2020 DQ according to the groups I follow. I'm F1 June 2020 DQ ...no interview letter yet. My PD is Nov 2013. ralph1983: Hello all,
Any news regarding F1(family sponsored) for adult children of citizens. I know there's a backlog but it seems things might move forward this year from the second half of the year. I just want to know prior to covid, who has an idea of an estimate of how fast did the dates move on the charts for dates of filing applications. |

My own experience was with arriving Nigeria and not doing the day 2 test. I got a sms message saying I should appear in court at Oshodi or have my passport voided. I ignored them and I have since travelled in and out of the country with no problem. |

Don't let too many people confuse you. 1) You may qualify for citizenship if your father was a citizen before you were born. It doesn't matter how old you are. There are certain requirements to be met. https://www.uscis.gov/policy-manual/volume-12-part-h-chapter-3 2) If your father became a citizen after you were born, then he can file for you in the following categories depending on YOUR marital status: First: (F1) Unmarried Sons and Daughters of U.S. Citizens: 23,400 plus any numbers not required for fourth preference. OR Third: (F3) Married Sons and Daughters of U.S. Citizens: 23,400, plus any numbers not required by first and second preferences. F1 will take about 8 years. F3 will take about 14 years. Based on the current visa bulletin. Ask a lawyer on avvo .com |

Good evening everyone. I will be applying for a student visa for Summer 2022. My questions are: 1) I had a B1/B2 that expired in 2020. Am I eligible to do dropbox for a student visa? 2) I already have an interview date to renew the B1/B2. The date is in 2023. Will that affect my dropbox for the student visa. Do I have to first cancel the B1/B2 interview date? Thanks in advance. |

So do you think one should quickly apply for the visa now before they start this new process? tonididdy: Confirm what? With all the signals on ground, you should know it's no longer business as usual. |
