Pls, be careful when filling applications form especially that part for means of sustenance. If you are being sponsored click on sponsor, click on others specify then the last space will be highlighted to fill in who's your sponsor is? e.g uncle, father, mother or auntie etc. When using sponsor the credit card space will be blank, they are not referring to the credit card certificate you are submitting in case you are using one.
Please search for Awhobiwom on YouTube on filling Poland visa application form. You will be glad you did.

How am I gonna fill this, when I click sponsor, there's no credit card option.

One of the reasons Polish embassy resulted to phone call visa appointment booking,when applicants are all night up to get through ever busy phone number somebody was asking for ways or consequences of cancelation of appointment.
Though situation beyond ones control may arise i.e unforseen circumstances that may warrant cancelation of booked appointment but I doubt if there is consequence for cancelation. There are genuine reasons for cancelation which may include death of family member, change of plans,accident, misplace of passport etc,(God forbid)

Also, there are unthinkable reasons for cancelation which one may think of like yet to receive visa docs from sch, yet to receive docs from sponsor or never ready etc. In the case of the latter from aforementioned reasons one can say sort of things because visa appointment now is not for play.

That's why it's always advisable to get all necessary docs ready before appointment and make sure any docs that are not ready before appointment are ones that will surely come through before such date.
Imagine if visa appointment booking is made online, how easily or unbothered people will cancel appointment when they are not ready to submit and hinder the genuine ones who are ready this invariably affect the schedule activities of the embassy.

That being said, I'm not sure there is consequences for cancelation of visa appointment,although one should avoid it by all means.

Waste of time and waste of appointment space if eventually you get through.
You need to have all your documents ready before you call to book for appointment to give room for those that genuinely need appointment.

Don't get confused. You only need employment certificate when using payslip.

Yes, the employment letter/certificate is not super special like you said but which organisation is willing to reissue documents like that, it is very rare plus it definitely contains sensitive information that is contractual. My point is, the embassy isn't supposed to be requesting to collect originals. Plus you saying CC option should be used, the employment certificate is also compulsory for both options, be it pay slip or credit card. Thanks anyway for your input.

Your flight reservation determines if it's poland or other member states you are to fill there.
Check your flight itinerary if it stops in any of the member state(any of schengen state) before your flight continue to Poland then fill in d state/country but if it stop in any other state/county who are not a schengen member state then fill in Poland.
For instance, if you book through Turkish Airways definitely your flight will have a stopover at Istanbul Turkey and it's not part of schengen member state then you fill in Poland. But if otherwise fill in d member state that you first have stopover.

As soon as d space for which embassy/consular can attend to are filled up,then the number goes off till d following week Thursday.

What time on Thursdays does the embassy stop receiving calls for visa appointment date?

It's advisable to travel to your study destination after your visa has been issued some weeks to commencement of your program. Like one week to the start of your program.
The reason for this are enormous which include hassle free entry to your destination at point of entry.




Imagine your program start date is 1st Oct and your visa was issued 25th June, if you travel let say by July or Aug you will be questioned at point of entry for early arrival. Except you have a valid reason to do so if not travel 1-2 weeks to your start date.

Embassies don't issue visa for part time studies in this part of clime(I'm not sure d western clime) Part time studies are meant for busy scheduled pple, for example working group/class, nursing mother/father etc.

Pls, read through your offer letter once again to be sure it's FULL TIME STUDY then you are a step closer to getting your study visa.

No consequence....... It was clearly stated on their website that you can provide either of the listed means of sustenance.

A member from this platform recently gotten his/her's from UAE(submitted in UAE).
Note: not all Polish student visa applicant are member of this platform, I'm sure that people do get visas and moreso, most October intake just started submitting their application. More testimonies of visa are on the way.

Your sponsor can present any of the government issued valid ID card such as NIN slip, International passport, Voters card et cetera.

1. Visa appointment booking is only on Thursdays. If I get to reach them via phone call can I choose any day of the coming week or they just give you a date themselves? Are there specific days for submitting visa applications at the embassy? Thank you

When your call get through,embassy will pick a date to submit your application within the following week.
I'm not sure if one can choose when to submit.

You do not need any of your sponsor's employment docs in as much he/she has provided you with CC.
Add affidavit of relationships to those docs with you.

Make sure it's notarized and affix his/her passport with ur's, your sponsor must be declarant.

Birth date disparity on your docs isn't problem. I want to presume that the date on your passport is d correct date while on your WAEC is incorrect. If that was the case, go swear affidavit of incorrect date on your WAEC but if the reverse was d case, then you need a new Passport.

Am not sure they is any question or interview, just submit your documents that's all.

My bro/sis be prepared don't be caught unaware there is an interview/question and answer session during ur submission. Years back, we've read from this thread of Polish embassy that may or may not conduct interview for applicants either for study or work depending on your luck.
The story is not the same anymore. I can tell you from my observations during my submission(this week) every applicant were questioned and the most common question of all is why poland?what do you want to go and do in poland?so your response to any of those aforementioned questions determine the dimensions of the interview.

A guy that entered before me while I waited to be call next was for work and I heard his converse with VO he was asked
Why are you going to Poland?
How did you get the job?
How much will you be traveling with?(here d guy was drill because that question was broad and it's open ended one..... Both were just dragging it)
Did you have family in Poland ?
Bla bla bla bla bla

I guess that guy was most drilled with questions among all. For work ohhhh.
A lady came out and said the VO asked only two questions

On my turn when I stepped in I couldn't see anyone but I stood where that guy stood and said good morning ma. I had same voice that was interviewing that previous guy replied good morning pls, remove your mask.

A tray opened under d barricade glass and said pls drop your docs. She started typing on her system yet I couldn't see her but I knew she was behind that glass. She continued typing for like 40-45sec. She stopped typing and she raised her head that was when I saw

*I didn't see a paid accommodation or agreement here..... I need to see paid accommodation agreement.... Immediately, I came in and explained what I know....
*Did you have the letter of accommodation from your Institution ?
* Where is the letter? Did you include it?
*Who is your sponsor?
*Pls, pronounce your sponsor's name.

The interview isn't something so serious because that's not what determines if you will be issue visa or not but one just need to try his/her best in responding to those questions appropriately so that you wouldn't castigate yourself after the interview.

Note: There is no format for the interview, your response determine what VO will ask next but I can asure you it's something you knew already or thought of that d VO might ask. A lady said she was ask what's her plan after graduation.

My bro, calling that number is like forever.some people do get through anyway. You keep trying until u get connected. I called for good one month when I couldn't get through that was when I seek for help..... I can link you up if you wouldn't mind..... But it's not free ohhhh.

I had someone said he/she submitted early Dec in Lag VFS and yet to be called for interview.

I submitted too in Lag VFS same day u did in Abj and resumption is Early Feb2021.

My advise anyone looking for a work in Dubai is to forget job sites unless u are looking for professional jobs and concentrate on going to production of manufacturing companies directly.
Ps: if u are in Sharjah and environs and would not mind working as a packer/counter in a plastic company send me a Pm. The pay is not great for starters(1300 ued/free accommodation/12 hours per day, 1 hour break per day/day and night shift/overtime bonus and Fridays off) Company will process Emirates Id and work visa
