ochongonoko: Errrmmmm...*coughs*.

Just wanted to remind team melvin about what me and papa ostrich have harping on about for the past few days

Last night, I found out that 6 outta 10 of my newly converted team melvin offline, were voting aggressively from a DEFAULT country. I was enraged!!. I had to start changing back their over 16+ accounts back to nigeria. Please team melvin, voting from a default location automatically means you're voting from SA and that means bev or dillish's fans will have the upper hand come sunday in nigeria. SA can NEVER vote melvin, I repeat, they can NEVER VOTE melvin and so it's waste of time voting from a DEFAULT country which is SA. It's a pity a lot of melvin fans have been wasting their votes.

One thing I noticed was that they voted using OPERAMINI through their mobiles and couldn't change their location easily or didn't know about the country from which they're voting from. It's simple to change or check your location in operamini browser if you're using a mobile. Here are the steps

1- press #8(or settings) and unclick "single coloum view" I.e change it to computer view

2- log in to BBA website, if it opens in mobile form, scroll down to the last page and click on "View Full Big Brother Site" and it will open in computer view

3- click on login(if you're not logged in) at the top right end of your screen and enter your mail and password

4- click on your profile and when it opens, you will see many options/spaces to key in your personal information. Ignore all of them except the " FIRST NAME, LAST NAME and COUNTRY" OPTIONS/SPACES. These three options are marked with a red ASTERICK ( *). Fill it up, change the Country to your desired point of attack and click on the "update" button below on that page

5- you will be given a notice that you've updated your profile in green font and receive a mail too about the update

For those of use that have several accounts, don't bother to check the mail of confirmation once you seen the green fonted message acknowledging your profile update and if yours is in nigeria already, leave am and continue with your voting. A day voting means a lot.

Team melvin, the die is cast, take no prisoners!!. I'm counting on y'all

At the end of the day, na God get power. Guys, let's just vote and leave the rest to God.

Stop sending to ROA codes from Nigeria. No confirmation means wasted votes and money.

njokusboy:

We do not have the right to institutionalise anything, we are not indigenous english speakers, english is a borrowed language to us, introduced by the british, we can twist it anyhow we like but we cannot change the fact that is wrong according to the rules of grammer.. We have our own native languages and another group of people cannot come and tell us what is correct or not just because we have taught them how to speak it....

Hope you know there is something called American, Australian, Jamaican and South African English? Dey dia dey tell yourself all that gist.
The reason there's all of that is because of their various "forms of English" being institutionalised by having their own dictionary and also teaching kids in schools to speak in that certain way. English, is everyman's language on planet earth to do as you please. Rules that may apply to Americans, English and Brits may not to you due to the presence of your native language which affects your pronunciation and stress patterns.
So my dear, "next tomorrow" is Nigerian English.

That is why I love Americans. They'd speak bad English and pronounce words wrongly and proudly. If the British say based on the dictionary, they are wrong. The Americans would institutionalise it, and move those wrong grammar, spellings and pronunciations from "incorrect" to "correct".

That is why you have American spellings for almost everything like "cheque" for example is spelt "check" the American way.

"The Next Tomorrow" is not necessarily bad English because when you are in "Tomorrow", the day after tomorrow becomes "the next tomorrow".

It is correct in a way but due us not institutionalising made it incorrect.

StateOfMind: Battle of correct\appropriate grammar cheesy.

Melvin was talking about finale and referred to sunday as 'next tomorrow'..cleo laughed and said there is nothing like next tomorrow but day after tomorrow is more appropriate. Melvin disagreed and said people do say it. Elikem said maybe in one corner of delta state and that its only local people that say next tomorrow. Elikem said melvin Is forming local boy. He said people do say it in ghana too but it is incorrect. Melvin asked elikem how is he so sure 'next tomorrow' is not correct. Elikem said he's very sure. Cleo said she's hearing 'next tomorrow' for the first time and hasn't heard anyone say that in zambia when elikem said he's sure few peeps say it in her country too. Cleo insisted its incorrect grammar, melvin is not convinced.

Over to you house.
..
Next tomorrow or the day after tomorrow. cheesy.

We do say "the day before yesterday" right? So I think "the day after tomorrow" is correct.

ekiloui: Good Morning guys
@bizbloke @hiteelong thanks for the spot on behalf of myself and @safarigirl.

For those worried that kenyans want Melvin to marry Ann...lolzz..na campaign things. I go explain on sunday.

@mariarocks
Disregard whatever you read on fb pages. Most voters aren't on those pages and as a matter of fact if you go through the profile of those commenting they are either from Namibia or S.a.

Even the Ugandan admin on fb is campaigning for Dillish..and I swear I checked the profiles of all the people that commented and not one is 4rm UG. They were just Namibians and kenyans pretending to be from UG and agreeing.

Last week the Admin of Tz was campaigning for Angelo, while the ones on twitter were campaigning for Bimp. And bimp got the vote..

No one should panic..as a matter of fact I'm sure dillish won't get TZ, so let's keep calm and vote MELVIN...no one should consider voting through Magaret. Attack Ugochukwu, Tamara and Kennedy.

One thing I've learnt in life is, the day you start getting comfortable is the day you should be worried, because something bad is about to happen.
