This was not the town festival and it did not start from the palace.

Ozoro town comprises of five communities aka five original brothers/families. This festival is a tradition observed and performed by only one of the five communities aka families.

The organizers only informed the local leaders within their community called ‘Idions’ which are select High Chiefs within that community/family.

They did not inform the King and neither was the President of the town informed.

Also nobody was r@ped, but young ladies were sexually harassed, their clothing torn, some sustained injuries. This not withstanding, sexual harassment is a felony and these people that caused these atrocities under the cover of this festival has been arrested and would be prosecuted.

Contrary to what is being insinuated in some comments here, this is not a festival of r@pe, there is no such thing. It is a festival of fertility, it’s efficacy is a matter for another day.

The festival guidelines are for barren women and married women who are looking for babies to come outside, rub sand on their stomach and pray for the fruit of the womb, I don’t know the medical value of this….and young ladies who are not married or not seeking pregnancy were suppose to stay away.

Though announcements were given to this effect, but it was defective because the announcement was only done in the local Isoko dialet and this is a growing community with many non native speakers and a University Campus with students who don’t understand Isoko and were not carried along.

I believe the organizers would be gun shy to pull this off again in the near future even with proper and full announcement and awareness.

There are multiple reasons he should not support to a DNA test.

The Trump Gold Card is like the Obama DACA program, both are just a way of the Executive branch of Government of the day saying, 'we are not going to deport you'. We will give you some type of paperwork so you can work and stay in America.

Both programs were not passed or authorized by congress, therefore they do not offer any pathway to Permanent Residency or Citizenship and they would face future challenges and can be discontinued by future President(s).

This case is frivolous and many lower courts has dismissed it and rightly so!

This case has been ongoing for about a decade now, and while it was still going on, the mother was collecting child support from another guys and it is that guys name that is in the birth certificate and she has been collecting those child support for about 15 years. They then sue Jay-Z and ask the court to order him to pay back child support from on start if he is found to be his father, meaning they want to collect double child support from two guys....typical gold digger move!

The Court clearly told the mother that, she can not be actively collecting child support from another guy whose name is the child's birth certificate and now pursuing another guy for child support and dismissed her case, then award cost against her to Jay Z team.

Not satisfied, she sues repeatedly, the son sued also until this final dismissal with prejudice meaning they can no longer sue again.

I'm not sure if there was persecution reasons yet but it depends also on how they came in and many other factors.. There are temporary and permanent status given to immigrants which are open to reviewing.

Each of these villages have their marriage committees that comprises of some elders in the village, it is not a family by family thing.

The marriage list come from the marriage committee, try to make inquiries in your village and someone would be able to get you a copy.

The marriage committee in each village regulates what should be on the list and on the day of the traditional marriage they will go through the list one after the other to make sure there is compliance.

If it is one or two isolated accidents, yes the driver alone could be culpable.

But when the accidents become too rampant and frequent and more so when driver have been found not to have driving licenses, it becomes a management failure and lack of oversight by management.

The head of Dangote company is Dangote himself and the buck should rightly stop at his table. He is the only one that can make the rightful decision and supervised oversight over the Directors at the logistic department to ensure that, at the minimum all their drivers are licensed and their vehicles are roadworthy.
