Escalate as quick as possible. Go to any UBA branch, there is a phone right inside the bank to talk to their customer care officers. Make sure you have details of your Form A application.

Thank you for your response. Do you mean the customer care officer of Trade monitoring system or that of UBA.

Good Evening House ,

I'm thinking of cancelling my Form A application cos I just got to know First Bank takes 3 weeks or more for disbursement of funds.

My husband has an account with UBA, Can he apply the Form A with his account for me ?

Thanking you in Anticipation.

What is the name of the course you studied in the University?

Do you have a 2.1 or 2.2?

What year did you graduate?

Is your degree related to your work experience?

I had 2.2, I graduated in 2014.
I graduated with Bsc Boochemistry, but I have been teaching for 7+yrs, my degree is not related to my work experience.

Thank you.

If you mean looking for PGD or PGC in education, you may find it hard to see. You need to be specific in your field. Curriculum, educational administration, elementary or early childhood education etc. So use that to search for your specific area of study.

The gurus will guide you well

Hi,
Thanks for your reply. I have checked and researched what I am seeing is ontario college diploma, since I already have a BSC, I don't thin I can apply for that. Please kindly advise.

If you're looking at masters in universities, most likely it will be after deadline date given. But if PGD in colleges, you may likely get. Cos colleges gives admission faster.

Hi

I am looking for colleges that offer education PGD OR PGC, I have tried searching I am not seeing anything. I have 8+years in Education.

Bros, I hail oh! No be quarrel na.

My post was not intended to discourage anyone, and I apologized in advance to the OP and anyone that would be offended.

It is just best to be realistic when advising people, and it is left for us adults to pick and choose what to believe - after all, this is a public forum and we are simply sharing our opinions and experiences.

People may tell others to look at PNP, which may be an option for some; but in reality, not many people are in occupations in demand or can even dream of getting a job offer from Naija. So, not a realistic option for many.

Also, you cannot be telling thousands of people to keep on running and very soon they will be faster than Usain Bolt, without cautioning those with hypertension and pot bellies to take it easy and find another way; that is deceit. Some motivational speakers have wrecked many lives this way. Please always caution people on their chances of success in any venture (how many people go through in %) and the associated risks (time and money wasted).

I maxed out my IELTS (Academic and General Training) and I managed to scale through medical school, so I am not a dull student. Learning a new language (in this case - French) for fun might be nice - to be able to say basic stuff and sound sophisticated. But the target for Canadian immigration (which is the ultimate aim of everyone on this thread) is far from 'Bonjour' alone as one requires a level of proficiency in French (comparable to that required to score 8,7,7,7 in IELTS) in Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing to attain B2 in TEF, as you get NO points for getting even a B1 in any aspect (I stand to be corrected).

I took a break from work and tried as much as I could for 3months, yet learning French to attain B2 level was like someone telling me that with my pot belly I should keep hope alive to break Usain Bolt's 100metres world record in Japan 2020 - impossible without a miracle (thank God I later came to my senses). I just do not have a flare for languages as I cannot even speak my local dialect - and I know I am not alone. "O man know thyself".

For some, learning a new language comes naturally, but they will develop headache on the sight of a thick anatomy textbook or a Math problem. For others, the reverse is the case. We are not all the same. So, please if while motivating people to take action, you add the caveat of "please know yourself and decide what works best for you", I believe that is not aimed at discouraging anyone.

Without a flare for languages, my brother, French is hard and might not be a realistic pathway for many. This is however, just my opinion.

Again, please don't stone me with curses. Apologies in advance.

Boss, I no dey insult person for public forum.

I get your point, all I am saying is their are a lot of people who are thinking of following the French route, what do you think might happen when they come across your post. I am presently on the French route to boost my score after maxing IELTS, it's not easy, but it's achievable, and it's also cheaper than getting married to a younger lady with MSc considering the high cost of bride price. Lol.

I great you boss.

Hello!

I was in your position (I was 37 years last year) and got the same advice you have gotten regarding learning French and writing TEF and looking at PNP.

Those are realistic options for only very few people who have a flare for Languages, are in occupations in demand or have relatives in certain provinces in Canada.

Please evaluate your circumstances and make the best decision for you fast. In my case, I initially started online French classes paying as much as (N5,000 per hour), bought text books and downloaded apps such as Duolingo. It was after about 3months I concluded TEF was not for me and all those funds had gone down the drain.

My wife is 6years younger than myself, so we later changed strategy and patiently got all she required to become the Principal Applicant and now we have gotten our COPR.

I ordinarily would have stopped here but permit me to go a little further, and please disregard and forgive me if it offends you (it is just an innocent word of advise). I see your Marital status says "Separated". It doesn't say "Divorced". If you have kids, I believe you embarked on this journey probably to secure a better future for them. So, if your wife is younger and has a Master's degree, and it is possible to work out a means of reaching a truce with your her (for the sake of the kids and for the sole purpose of immigration) to be the PA, kindly consider it.

CRS score cut offs aren't coming down anytime soon. Best to act fast.

Bottom line is because of age, with the exception of getting a job offer, getting a provincial nomination or getting a B2 level in TEF (all of which are a tall order for many) you are realistically unlikely (although I can't rule out a miracle) to make it through as the Principal applicant. Liaise with someone who can...

Please, don't be offended by my advice. I just wouldn't want you wasting money and time like I did. My profile as the PA, expired 3months ago after 12months, with no Notification of interest. All my Expression of interest profiles to Prince Edward island and Manitoba did not yield any nomination either. After spending money trying to learn French, I doubt I can even get an A1 or A2 level in TEF, yet you get NO points unless you get a minimum of B2 level in TEF.

There are lots of people here taking the route of learning a new language, do not discourage anyone. Paying 5k per hour and downloading all the French app on playstore wouldn't automatically make you start speaking French, you have to work hard. It's like paying for Chris Pell and I don't take action and I expect to pass my IELTS just because I paid.

To those learning French to boost their CRS score, keep the fire burning, it is achievable.

Why not use CRS tool to confirm this, what I know is if your spouse is non accompanying it wont affect your CRS point
Your CRS point will still stand at 467 if you choose the option "Spouse Non-accompaning"
I believe with this, IRCC knows you have a spouse somewhere, and it wont be difficult to invite your spouse incase you want Him/Her join you later.

Thanks for your response. What am asking is how easy is it to bring my wife when I eventually get there? Do you know the process please?

Add him and do non-accompanying spouse, it wont affect your CRS point, it may not be too difficult to invite him over even if you get there, paradventure he changes his mind later.
IRCC knows you have a spouse with that.

Adding him as a non-accompanying spouse won't affect the scores right? Cos am in similar situation, am at 467 @d moment adding my wife would push me down to 462, how possible is it to bring my spouse?
