After several denial the Nigerian Air Force has finally taken responsiblity for accidental killing of civilians in a Yobe state.

Recall that eyewitnesses who spoke to Channels Television and Daily Trust, said eight villagers were killed in the incident, while many others were wounded. A source in the community, Haruna Ali told Channels Television that three Toyota Hilux brought the injured victims to Geidam General Hospital.

NAF spokesman, Air Commodore Edward Gabkwet however countered the claim, saying the last time they conducted a mission in Yobe State was earlier this month and no bomb or missile was expended.

Following the backlash the Synagogue Church of All Nations, SCOAN, received after some disciples were sacked, the SCOAN have now decided to audit the activities of some disciples and workers of the church.

James Akhigbe, the Head of SCOAN’s Legal Department, said the audit followed the discovery of financial misappropriation after the death of the church’s founder, Temitope Balogun Joshua, aka T.B. Joshua.

Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has revealed the reasons behind the sit-at home order. According to the group, its September 14 sit-at-home order is in honour of victims of the military raid in Afaraukwu, the home town of its leader, Nnamdi Kanu.

On September 14, 2017, military operatives had invaded Afaraukwu in Abia State in an attempt to arrest Kanu.

During the raid, about 28 people were said to have been killed by soldiers.

Katsina State chapter of Miyetti Allah has joined its National Body to distance itself from the recent unguarded outburst credited to its National Secretary, Saleh Alhassan.

At a press briefing held at the NUJ Secretariat on Friday, the state chairman Miyetti Allah, Hassan Kuraye, condemned the unguarded derogatory statement of the National Secretary, saying it does not in any way reflect the view of the association at both the national and state chapter.

Late Prophet Temitope Balogun Joshua, aka T.B Joshua, disciples have been evicted from the Synagogue Church of All Nations, SCOAN.

According to a source very close to the family the late T.B Joshua’s wife, Evelyn, evicted the local disciples of the deceased prophet from the church premises.



Speaking with DAILY POST, the source said the eviction was part of Evelyn Joshua’s move to assume leadership of SCOAN.

Those who disrespected her in the past were asked to vacate their church.

“These disciples asked to leave were those who disrespected Evelyn while her husband was alive.

Babajide Sanwo-Olu , Governor of Lagos state has signed the State Value Added Tax (VAT) bill into law.

Recall that the state House of Assembly on Thursday, September 9, passed the bill and sent a copy to the state governor for assent.



The Governor signed the bill at about 11.45 am today shortly after returning from his trip to Abuja.

Special counsel to Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Aloy Ejimakor, has taken steps to stop the extradition of some members of the group arrested in Ghana to Nigeria.

A popular footballer and sports commentator in the Sunyani Municipality, Richard Gyamfi a.k.a Fire Man have been arrested by the Ghanaian police after three human heads were found in his fridge.

Confirming the news to Sunyani based Sky FM, the father of one of the deceased victims, Mr Thomas Agyei explained that the footballer reportedly lured his son, 13-year-old Louis Agyemang Junior from a football park at Sunyani Abesim into his room and killed him.

The boy who is a twin had left for the park for football training. In the evening, efforts to trace the young boy proved futile. One of his friends called Tweneboa informed the parents that they saw him in the company of the sports commentator and footballer “Fire Man”.



Gyamfi became a suspect after he denied seeing the boy upon being confronted. After the boy’s parents visited the footballer’s home and saw that it was locked, they invited some boys in the area to break into the room only to find the body of Louis Agyemang Junior lying prostrate in cold blood with his head slashed away.


The suspect was reportedly beaten before he was handed over to the Sunyani Abesim Police. A search by the police discovered human being body parts in a sack. In his fridge, he had three human heads including that of Louis Agyemang. The Abesim Police handed him over to the Bono Regional Police Command for further investigations.

The Nigerian Army has announced the arrest of one of its personnel who allegedly killed a final year Student of the University of Calabar.

Brig Gen Onyema Nwachukwu, Director of Army Public Relations, in a statement, said the Army had instituted an investigation into the allegations.

Ondo sate Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has blasted the Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister for Justice, Abubakar Malami for kicking against the resolve by the southern governors to ban open grazing within the region.

According to Akeredolu, it is worrisome for Malami who is a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, SAN, to compare a well-structured business such as the spare part business with the archaic method of cattle grazing.

Embattled cosmetic doctor, Dr Anu Adepoju, has landed in a fresh trouble after another patient called out for a botched butt surgery.



Photos of the patient’s butt with puss leaking out of it are circulating online, alongside a chat purportedly from the patient.



In the chat, the patient alleged that Dr Anu moved her practice to Abuja after her clinic in Lagos – Medcontour – was shut down over alleged malpractice.

The patient added that she lives in New York and didn’t know about Dr Anu or the other patients who claim to be her victims.



When she returned to Nigeria, she booked a session with Dr Anu, she claims, and it ended in a disaster.

Surulere Baptist School in Ilorin on Monday was saved by security operatives from being set ablaze by unidentified hoodlums.

The school also has a church located within the premises.
