Nigerians need someone to reset their moral consciousness and someone to be proud of when you see him in international fora. At this age, I am not deceived by any politician. After all, we have seen the worst, how bad can it be anymore? One of the criteria I saw was that our moral psyche is so bad, we need someone who can help reset it with the words they say, even if they are pretending. The last person that had that was Buhari and the propaganda packaging of the new sheriff in town in early 2015 but you can't pretend for so long. The robes came off quickly and those who questioned Nigerians were right. A leopard cannot change his spots. The way he didn't talk to you during campaign, he bloddy well didn't talk to you in his 8 years. The next person was Osinbajo until they asked who is the Presidency but you saw it in the few days he was in power. I also watched his actions, one of the few things he did was to use a Nigerian hospital when he had that accident and he showed leadership by example. Those little things matter in the scheme of things because leaders inspire, the people watch what they do.

We need someone who, when he talks, you want to listen. We need someone who displays good character even in politics, someone who is careful with the choice of words he uses and does not abuse his opponents. Someone who you can point to good examples of in character and speech. Not someone you are not sure how they will manage him in the public. Not someone who doesn't like to talk to his people and go through aides. Not someone who wants all the luxuries of this world but stay far away from the common man so they can never empathise with you. Not someone who does not inspire. Not someone who feels like a god. Not someone you cannot tell your child to emulate because you don't know their virtues or character, you only know buzz words and slogans. Not someone whose family, school and work history is shrouded in controversy. Not someone who has certificate issues. Not someone who's not bothered about the process that makes him president but just wants to be announced winner. You see these little things, they matter in the long run because they say children don't listen to you, they watch you. You can't tell your child that these are my values and you can't show them in 3D. Many of the politicians and their PR people lack integrity, that's why they boast often with power. Exactly. Tinubu is trying to make up for lost Northern votes in the SS and NC while Atiku has gained those Northern votes potentially lost by Tinubu to add to his 2023 tally. The only candidate that hasn't realistically gained new in-roads is Peter Obi but he's doing the right thing by aligning with the ADC. So-called Obidients chanting Obi or nothing are only sabotaging his campaign. Most of them are closet Agbadorians anyway. To be fair to him, Obi has come out to denounce them. Atiku needs Obi to get the required constitutional spread, but he has the numbers already. None of them can win without the other, but it's a good thing that they are currently in the same party. What Obi stands to gain? A chance to endear himself to the North and get the same level of support Northerners gave to Tinubu after supporting Buhari against Jonathan. Northerners ALWAYS pay their debts in multiple folds, whether good or bad.

You should know I’m pro-BAT, but the truth is he hasn’t lost any ground in the North. Much of the media noise is just rhetoric. What he’s doing instead is carefully calibrated, polarising politics—likely aimed at securing a landslide. In the South, the narrative is that the North is against him, while in the North, he’s clearly the candidate to beat. Otherwise, how do you explain that no one else is making real in-roads but him?

All the KKK states are effectively in his bag—Jigawa, Borno, Sokoto—except Bauchi. Even in states not fully in his column, he still has a significant presence that should comfortably deliver more than 25%. If you simulate the numbers and conservatively assign, say, 50% of votes cast in these areas to BAT, by the time the South-West, North-Central, and South-South results come in, it’s clearly a landslide.

The real test of intelligence is results, not rhetoric or social media hype. So far, APC has tangible results, and all things being equal, 2027 should be a walk in the park. Personally, I want Obi on the ballot again—to truly test his popularity and put to rest the idea that 2023 was driven mainly by the Muslim-Muslim ticket and reactions to Buhari’s incompetence and nonchalance toward governance.

Even hardcore Obidients should admit that Tinubu has been far more responsive as president than Buhari. He is also clearly not a religious fanatic; in fact, it appears Christians are getting some of the most significant appointments and opportunities in his government, which effectively eliminates the notion of a religious agenda. Therefore, ADC should present Peter Obi in 2027 so we can properly validate the 2023 data points against the 2027 outcome.

The North gave Tinubu over 65% of his votes in 2023 with 5.6m votes. The North also gave Atiku close to 7m votes while giving Kwankwaso 1.5m votes. Obi also got over half of his votes from the Northcentral/middlebelt. Obi got over 90% of the votes in the SS and SE, yet it wasn't enough to see him through, whereas, Tinubu securing only 60% of Northern votes was all he needed, even though he was largely rejected in the South. No one region can make one president without a handshake across the Niger but it is undeniable that numbers don't lie. Noise must not be mistaken for numbers or strength. Oftentimes, the silence of Northerners online is borne out of the confidence that they have in their sheer numbers. The numbers are real, it's not A.I.

Now in furtherance; you see why the APC(BAT) had to take over the entire NC & SS---there no way PO can repeat 2023 numbers its mathematically impossible.

However, I doubt there’s any sabotage involved—after all, it’s not just the people losing out, but every stakeholder: Gencos, Discos, even the owned (and recently unbundled) TCN. Everybody loses whenever there’s a grid collapse.

As far as I am concerned, Mbah is the best governor in the entire South East and a strong contender for the best governor in Nigeria. He is progressively deploying both reforms and infrastructure development to deliver better days for Ndi Enugu.
