Not in the North. The North gave him 5.6m votes (65%) of his total 8m votes and he has Elrufai to thank for that. He lost the South woefully to Obi despite rigging out Obi in states like Rivers and even Lagos.

Go back and check the figures,this time more intelligently.......El rufai lost his own state to atiku so how was he able to galvanise northern votes for tinubu,Ganduje got more votes for tinubu than El rufai could muster,wamakko,buhari all got more votes in NW individually than El rufai could......yari,badaru both won their states in the same NW when El rufai couldn't even get 30% in his own state......now explain how El rufai helped gather votes.....if he couldn't while he was gov,how can he now that he is out of power,his successor is still very much in the tinubu camp and would rather El rufai himself be cut to size.

That's why tinubu is smarter than a million obi's,he isn't the one that will allow himself to be lied to like they did GEJ and go to bed and sleep,he did his own homework assiduously and got his support from a far larger group not dependent on anyone.

They are all proxies of Adelabu. Seyi Makinde is fully on ground in Oyo State. Contrary to what most snake oil merchants say, Oyo APC is not united. Since Tinubu has connived with an outsider (Wike) to humiliate and undermine Seyi in his own state and party (PDP), Seyi will be handing out a few lessons soon.

The disunity in the apc has always been there before makinde became gov,it has nothing to do with him the egos in that party are to gargantuan to put under control and it has worked to makinde's advantage on both occasions.
If adelabu,folarin,ladoja and the 3rd force within the party can unite and come together, seyi is a gonner.

And how do you trigger that job creation? By channeling credit where it matters: providing low-interest loans to major sector leaders and soft loans to new, innovative entrepreneurs. That is what foreign loans should be used for—not just pouring concrete into roads and bridges.
Imagine if the ₦650 billion spent on the Second Niger Bridge had been injected directly as capital into the manufacturers in Onitsha instead. Those businesses would have:
Repied the loans with interest.
Generated enough new tax revenue for the government to eventually build the bridge out of pocket.
Created massive, sustainable employment across the region.
Instead, we have a bridge, but an economy that is suffocating. What exactly is our issue?

What happened to anchor borrowers under GEJ,tradermoni under buhari ,what has happened to all the social intervention programs by various govts at all levels.......hundreds of brand new buses were given out by the ondo state govt to transporters,within 2 yrs not one single sign of those buses exists.

Free CNG kits were issued to these same people to help ameliorate the shocks of the subsidy removal on transport cost,same guys jerked up fares the very next day the got the kits thereby defeating the major purpose of the initiative.

No govt gives freely to people without accountability and tbat is a missing reality in our psyche as a people.......govt is helping so many businesses in forms of waivers,tax credits etc dangote refinery wouldn't have happened without these,shell BP just got waivers for bonga field,MTN,airtel all got same to grow to where they are today but it only seems sustainable in the big business circles anything cascaded down beyond that has always been a failure.
