3. Special forces can be flown by helicopter into close proximity of the abductees and kidnappers' location, to drop well-armed officers at sufficient distance from the target zone to remain undiscovered until it is too late. While those special forces position themselves in ambush formations along all possible escape routes, the main police attack force can be trucked into the area to commence a concentrated direct frontal attack on the kidnappers, while being guided by the special forces already hiding close to the targets, AND by the loitering drone above.

To the more jaded readers of this forum who are prone to skepticism, the above three steps might seem unattainable by the Nigerian law enforcement community. To the public at large, your very FIRST step if ever you receive a kidnap ransom demand phone call, is to contact the police and supply the phone number that was used to contact you with that ransom demand. This can be done even BEFORE a dedicated phone tracing number is ever published by law enforcement. With that, repose your trust in the forces of the newly constituted State Police, to bring your loved ones home safely after neutralizing the bad guys, who will never know what hit them.

Firstly, the first lady is not accountable to anybody. Her post is not political or elective. Any kind gesture she offers is a charity.

Nigerians derive pleasure in bad news. If she had not mentioned kulikuli her words wouldn't have spread.

People are assuming that every Nigerian is educated and graduate of higher institutions that's why they found the first lady advice funny but the reality on ground shows that those who are not educated and unskilled are more than the graduates or the educated ones. Obviously, the first lady was not directing her speech to those who are graduate.

The point is that most akara sellers do not have a good standard of living. Selling akara is a low end business to keep body and soul together not a business to brag about its profitability as you claim. Look at the Op for example who claims he used gas to fry akara for sale. He was honest enough to acknowledge the clients were rich enough and he was not footing the bill of the gas. How many people can afford to run akara business with gas and still be profitable in this era of 2k per kg gas and 18k per 5L oil.
The simple fact is that people especially young graduates deserve to be gainfully employed so that they can contribute meaningfully to society. So glorifying akara business like it's such a desirable line of employment just shows your innate sadism and hate for your fellow countrymen that you're ready to throw them under the bus to defend your political god

Getting by is not a way of life to wish on others. It leads to poor standard of living, poor health and even uncertainty about the future. You shouldn't be advocating for people to just "get by" in life. You should advocate for people especially young Nigerians to get opportunities to aspire to be the best they can be.
At this rate I fear APC have a feudal mentality. Impoverish the people to such extent that they lose any atom of ability to think for themselves. I fear more for your kind who are their hailers. Your comeuppance may not be good. Go read Isaiah 5:20 if you have a bible close to you.

The big question still remains what do they eat, how and where do they live, what schools do their kids attend? If you believe their standard of living is pleasing to see and desirable then may their lot be your portion in the earliest possible time. Amen

I saw a video the other day of a joint in Addis Ababa, where all they served was Ethiopian Tea, nothing else. The place was beautifully branded, etc. Come and see people, including tourists, patronising this joint.

In Europe, there are shops you'll enter in the nice parts of town, and all they sell in the shop is groundnuts and other types of nuts.

The beautiful packaging of the various nuts on offer alone is enough to make you buy, even if you hate nuts.

This is the SAME GROUNDNUT that one poor woman will sell on the roadside and make next to nothing.

Yet some people build million dollar shops and even franchises out of it.
