Sanwo-olu won his re-election under APC, but Tinubu lost Lagos. Hope Uzodinma won his re-election under APC, but Tinubu lost Imo. Nwifuru won his re-election but Tinubu lost Ebonyi. The governors of Cross Rivers, Kaduna, Katsina, Kebbi, Sokoto, Yobe, etc all won their re-elections under APC but Tinubu did not win the states. Tinubu is more unpopular than APC and Nigerians can tell the difference. Just like PDP after Jonathan, APC as a party will continue to exist and win elections long after Tinubu is voted out of power. Tinubu is not the sole owner of the APC despite his attempts to personalise it by hounding and chasing other blocs away.

Tinubu wasn't on the mantle then,tinubu wasn't the favorite candidate of the cabal.....27 won't be 23 go and write that down.....as you are dreaming,others are equally preparing for you.

I remember one time during fuel scarcity in buhari's 1st term,thanks to tinubu we do not have that anymore....... after spending almost 4 gruelling hours queuing to get fuel,I finally got to be the 3rd in line from one of the only 2 pumps dispensing out of like 8......suddenly a yellow commercial bus which was being fixed inside the petrol station and no one paid any attention to went up in flames and within the twinkle of an eye,the fire had gotten to one of the pumps and immediately engulfed the canopy of the station,omoh come see different ben Johnson and Usain bolt,jerrycans of different colors and sizes all up in the air,mesef liv moto jump express to the other side,It was so shocking I couldn't even make any attempt to save my car,thank God for one ofcthe area boys that I encountered earlier and and gave some change that brought me out of my bewilderment and was asking where was my car key,I told him it was inside the vehicle and this guy like an action movie ran across and drove my car out for me but he brushed my bumper against the car ahead of me whose owner had also japaed,but I didn't mind the damage as it was something fixable,......that was one of the major incidents that had tuned my mind that I dont attach any importance to any material thing ahead of life and humanity,you can get it and losse it at any given time......somehow the gas station was saved but about 5 cars got badly damaged.

The issue is not that Pastor Adeboye expressed an opinion. The issue is that many Nigerians remember a time when he was far more vocal about the failures of previous governments. That is why his recent comments have attracted scrutiny.
You cannot build a reputation for speaking truth to power and then appear to lower the standard when your preferred leader is in office. Consistency is the foundation of moral authority.

When previous administrations struggled with insecurity, corruption, fuel scarcity, or economic hardship, Pastor Adeboye did not hesitate to call for urgent action and national repentance. Today, insecurity has become even more widespread, kidnappings have reached communities once considered safe, millions are battling unprecedented economic hardship, yet his public criticism appears noticeably restrained. Nigerians have every right to ask why.

Saying that the President only needs to give orders ignores the very essence of leadership. A Commander in Chief is not judged by the orders he gives but by the outcomes those orders produce. If insecurity continues to worsen, then leadership must be held accountable. That principle applied under previous governments and it must apply now.

It is ironic that some people who once applauded Adeboye for challenging those in power are now asking Nigerians not to question him. Respect for a pastor does not require silence in the face of apparent double standards. Public figures who comment on national issues should expect their past statements to be measured against their present ones.

Reducing every criticism to "Obidients are attacking him" is also misleading. Many of those questioning Pastor Adeboye are not doing so because of Peter Obi. They are doing so because they expect consistency from someone who has long been regarded as a moral voice in Nigeria.
This is not about tribe. It is not about religion. It is about credibility. If the standards used to judge former presidents are abandoned when the current president is involved, then people are justified in pointing out the inconsistency.

Nobody is above criticism, whether politician or pastor. The same courage required to speak against yesterday's government should exist today. Otherwise, people will inevitably conclude that the message changes depending on who occupies Aso Rock.
That is the real issue. Not ethnicity. Not political affiliation. Consistency.

Electricity isnt cheap anywhere in the world and where it seems so,givt is paying to subsidise it which the fg is also still doing........Electricity generation and distribution is off govt hands since the time of gej amd all critical insfrastructure already sold off and private investments cant thrive in nigerias grossly loss incuring Electricity space.......dangote refinery wouldn't have happened if subsidy on petrol wasn't removed same is happening in the Electricity sector,if govt doesnt enable cist reflective Electricity tariffs,it will be very difficult and almost impossible to get the much needed investments in that sector and there is no way that can happen without you having to pay more.....its simple!!

Nigerians know that they have been worst off and will be unwilling to walk this path for another four years. Those are the realities that will shape the next presidential election.

The political dynamics of 15 are totally different from what we have currently.......in 15 the pdp was being decimated from within it was bleeding from the inside out,govs and other powerful politicians were moving out and heading in one singular destination which was the apc even the NASS caucus was being balanced and the opposition was still far more formidable. These are factors......what have you got now,you even have more of them gravitating towards the center than out of it,the balance of power is heavily tilted in favor of the apc.

The opposition still won osun state,yes you can claim that was in the opposition stronghold but can you juxtapose with contemporary realities,which state can the opposition claim if elections were to be held today,I will agree with you if you mention abia or anambra but I will also ask you where the political leadership of thise 2 states are leaning,even current osun......in 15 the opposition was one formidable unit with 12 govs but today you have a grossly weakened and balkanised opposition struggling to even hold on to even one single state.

You have every right to be anti tinubu ir apc but you should know there are also others who are also on the other side and so many that will be bought over,you can continue to averse yourself from such reality but it's the hard cold truth and the apc currently that has the highest power of patronage, better and well oiled political structure ahead of anybody........the 23 surprise of obi came at a wrong time, he could have stood some chance if he had come 27 as a dark horse but now the establishment already knows him and well aware of his threath and are already primed to clip his wings.
