Man is so obsessed with revenue and self aggrandizing wealth like he wasn't loved as a child. Sad. You mean he should stand on the streets and be sharingoney or better still go on SM and be doing giveaway........that news is a vindication that tinubu's policies are working and he is doing a good job by stabilizing the economy.....all of you crying hunger, that 20 trillion came from the same streets you walk on from same country you live. |

One person's opinion is what all of you agitated like this, something is wrong with you guys...
just like saying Tinubu is a failure, did I break any law, why should I be put in any place for saying that, if you have another view, air your own and leave her alone...
That's how you people breed injustice because of hatred... You seem obviously ignorant not to be aware of the bill for state police and request for memeoranda from all the sub nationals,20 out of 36 states are yet to make any submissions .....if tinubu had the powers to declare state police by mere executive fiat, trust me h red would have a long time ago. |

The bigger question people like you should be asking is why a whole state government is agitated about an unknown person's tweet, terrorists are throwing party with threats on Tik Tok and the government isn't concerned, a lady tweets her own opinion without threats but they are agitated and you people are here t o promote it. Or at least intercept Russian ballistic, cruise missiles and drones heading to Ukraine from Polish and Romanian airspace just like they did when Iran attacked Israel. ElevationD: Creating state police when the present Federal police is understaffed and under financed. Should first things not get first things first? We have all sorts of people in different uniforms, yet banditry, kidnapping and other forms of crimes continue unabated? Why waste the resources when we all know the issues?
Please pay the police internationally accepted rates, equip them and get more men employed into the force. Get more people into the armed forces, find them properly, encourage them and see the difference. Th imperialist policing architecture we are running is rather outdated and counter productive to our current realities......due to our heterogenous complexities a single layer policing structure is most inadequate,we need a multi layered policing architecture like you have in the US where the states have there respective police units......how do you expect egbetokun a Yoruba man to know the socio cultural cum economic factors of a place like ugep in criss rivers or damboa in borno and be able to handle it effectively but a police from those locality who was born and lives there is better suited to effectively secure those places.. |

It's either it's the right of the judge to have such things or they don't have it. To me it has to be their right against political favour. Somebody has to build it and that somebody happens to be tinubu..... there's nothing anyone can do about that..... It's called judges quarters for a reason, why hasn't the president or any gov ejected or stopped any legislator from accessing their allocated quarters..... would like come tomorrow and tell any judge to vacate his or her quarters because the judge ruled against them? |

The duo aided systematic weakening of opposition parties during their time. Today they are redundant. You Wike will not be able to hold on to power forever and your redundancy will be worst than that of the duo. HOWEVER, SUPREME JUDGES ARE NOT GOD What has all ur gibberish got to do with judges staying in unsecured rented apartments, what as it got to do with judges welfare? The decision to run or not is GEJ's to make and if he decides to run, he'll give PBAT a run for his money. It's gej's enemies that are urging him to re contest ,his true friends would surely advise him against it.....he has built a reputation as a man of peace and an adherent to democratic principles, someone not built for the toxic Nigerian political space.....a Mandela like kind of personalised the has won him incredible mileage the world over....... throwing his hat in the ring at this moment would put a serious dent to that.....he still has a higher political capital than obj and a far better statesman. |

Both GEJ and Madam peace have moved on from the 2015 election lose. Unfortunately, some people are still wallowing and get stuck with the 2015 election lose.
If GEJ is interested in the 2027 election, he would have started his preparation ahead. All those politicians decamping to Apc from South South wouldn't have.
Some things should be logical They think northerners are fools....the fear of hej returning is greater than that of tinubu second term for many of the northern politicians that threw GEJ under the bus in 15,even the new hawks in SS won't support him so as not to jettison there prospects for VP in 31.....many won't vote hej again because of his reputation for being an ineffectual president......many northerners wouldn't even want his wife back after what she said about northerners in the run up to the elections in 15.....so much bad blood exists with a GEJ presidency,it's just like getting back with an ex with all the toxicity still imminent, best to avoid. |

Sheuns: What do you mean it’s criminal in the north and civil in the south?
You used “legally married”.
Legally married means going to the registry and binding the union by Nigerian laws. Is the law up north different from the one down south?
Except for shariah law that’s different, marriage laws in Nigeria are same in north and south. It's treated as a criminal matter up north like you stole something from someone which can ened up with a jail sentence but in the south it's treated as a civil matter,I won't go to jail but will be asked to pay damages as in this case,to the husband and the wife would also be asked to pay cost but jail time is most unlikely. |

happney65: In as much as it is morally wrong. But why should he be jailed for a consexual sexual activity?
Someone should show me where it is a crime. If he contests it in the court of law won't he win? It is an offence to sleep with someone else's legally married wife.....it's even criminal in the north and you can go to jail but in the south it's treated as a civil matter and you can be asked to pay damages whether you knew she was married or not.....if you are in the act of sleeping withe married women, pls desist.....it can ruin your life. |

What I find barbaric is the jail term Even in civil law you will be heavily reprimanded, many men have been asked to pay cost for sleeping with someone else's wife. |

Them dey always tell men, mount your guard (financially, bedroom & in several other aspect) or else person go wipe your wife. Making sexual gestures at a married woman persistently with the knowledge she is married is an offence.. . Having intimate relationship with a married woman you also liable to pay damages......stay away from married women, they are a bag of trouble,if she loves you so much she can divorce her husband to come be with you. |

owobokiri: I have never seen Deji Adeyanju as a human right activist that you can trust. He comes off as someone who has mastered the art of using the tag of a "human rights advocate" to more or else bully and blackmail a corrupt ruling class. That's the way I look at him. When you talk of human rights activists, you talk of folks like Gani Fawhenmi and co. Deji is an oppurtuinist.
He sure knows the ills of the society and has managed to put himself in a vantage position from where he can use the media to draw attention to his character at critical political moments, but whether he could "fight" altruistically for the people irrespective of any sort of bribes/financial inducements directed towards his direction, is a different ball game altogether.
You also have to ask yourself some basic questions sometimes, like "how did the likes of Deji emerge as the dominant opinion moulders in the agitations for the respect for human rights in Nigeria "!? Who made them? Who empowered them? And who unleashed them on Nigerians.. And what's wrong in him having ambitions....the likes of keyamo, uba sani, shehu sani even tinubu himself were at some point activists but they are now on the other side. |
