ganie: Please, I need you to help me. For a married woman that wants to do WES evaluation, is it the name on the certificate that she will use for her profile or her husband's name?
For Wes, use name on certificate. For express entry profile, use thé one on your passport. Don’t forget to add an affidavit showing that the two names belong tho the same person
tshtsh: With IRCC nothing is guaranteed. The pattern was consistent and predictable up until March 2020. The At some point it was TR to PR; Then CEC; Then All program draws and now french. Let us endeavor to be proactive in whatever pathway we chose. As for study route it is becoming too expensive with no guarantees. Ten years ago CAD was 133/USD 157 and people were more interested in experiencing western education in a developed country. Settling abroad permanently via study route was an option some bought into and others didn't. However, the trend has changed now. When I was a student (age 20/21/22/23) I knew some other students who were older than me (in their late 20s/early 30s) and were also on study leave from their place of work. Some returned to their jobs while some got a job and resigned.
Today you see/hear of people in their 40s/late 30s selling all they have worked for to pay their fees and also fund their dependents. The cost of things not working out via this route can be difficult to recover from. I will pick a 2 million naira french training over the study route that can cost a house, car and entire savings. The pressure sometimes split families permanently
True. But I didn’t say it was going to last forever. I only said it will last a long time. I still maintain my stance. French speakers will continue to have some sort of advantage for a long time to come. Might not be draws, but the advantage will always be there.
gr8femfred: Please I need help o, my agent made mistake on my DOB he input 28th of September of which the correct one on my International passport is 26th of September and he said I should not worry since am still going for biometric..
House Please what is the way out am going for biometric on 14th
Thanks all
He’s actually right. Ircc regards things like this as minor mistakes and they usually would overlook it. Your data page is with them, so they would go with the age on that instead. They know we are humans and prone to error. It’s not misrepresentation
ednut1: Disclose Disclose Disclose . Some people have side businesses that can found on google , some people have employment records on LinkedIn that doesn’t tally with their EE application .
She’s lucky a 5 year ban wasn’t mentioned in the letter. Well, she better pray o because this was the same reason a guy who didn’t disclose his directorship was banned for 5 years. I’ve also noticed that there might be a ban in place for her already even if they don’t mention it in the letter. She might get a rude shock when she applies again.
iamwoleolu: Finally, we've moved to Calgary, Canada after waiting for so many years. We've been able to document the final depature in a video. Please watch to be encouraged. Your testimony will come soon. Pls subscribe and share with others

yansky: Hi, please I have a dilemma and I need advice, so due to the new exchange rate wahala, I have enough for 2 and not 3. But I have me, my partner and my daughter. Can I say it’s me and my partner alone and our daughter is unaccompanying since she has an American passport anyway?
Even if you go alone, you must still provide POF for your daughter
enemerci: Good day seniors. Help me consider this scenerio.
If a wife is 37 and the husband is 50yrs, her occupation is demand and among the new category. If she max out her ielts, her score will be 434. She is considering focusing on PNP's
Now the question is will her husbands age have a negative impact on the application.
Some kind questions wen una Dey ask us, Na only ircc get the answer o. Honestly, it’s hard to tell but if it’s PNP, it’s unlikely. But for category draws, I have no idea. It might as they plan to invite the highest scores within the categories. Your age affects your score, so it will likely affect your chances at the category based draws
If I'll be traveling with my spouse and I'm able to secure a provincial nomination (additional 600 points), is it compulsory she takes the English language test and have her credentials evaluated too?
I received the Invitation to submit an Application on the 19th of May for SINP, I have all my necessary documents except my proof of funds which has been in my account for 3weeks on that particular day I received the Invitation. On the 17th of July which will be the last day to submit my application will make it 80 days that my funds are in my account and not 90 days. I am left with the option of declining the offer and applying for another EOI or submitting my application like that. Still, I don't want to submit and receive an ineligible mail. I am seeking to know whether it's a strict requirement for it to be 90 days. Has anyone presented proof of fund that is not up to 90 days and passed? I heard of the option of going to the bank to backdate my POF, has anyone done this before and passed?
Thank you.
Yes it’s a strict requirement. You can’t bypass it. Forget about backdating any document. Others might have gotten away with it but you might not. Na misrepresentation o. Décline it and reapply for another EOI after like 2 or 3 weeks
Ajibola86: Good afternoon everybody. What's procedure to write the exam?
Which exam? IELTS? If yes, go to Google and type in IELTS nigeria and you’d find the steps there. You’d see British council or MOD or IDP. Use any of them and you’d be able to find directions on how to register near your location.
portablesuzy: good day house pls how much is 40Million Naira in Canadian dollars. this exchange rate is confusing me thanks
Approximately 69k if you want the dollars in your bank account but if you’re talking about ircc conversion, then it’s approximately 116k Note that nobody will give you dollars at that rate o. It’s just thé official exchange rate. You can only get dollars at black market rate which will amount to 69k
Quick question. Can a family of 5 survive with an income of 140K CAD in Oshawa? Wife does not work for now. Plan to land finally over summer after soft landing last year.
Thanks for your help.
Yes it’s more than enough. People are surviving there with less.

songcry911: Hi guys. Please i have been trying to make payment of 1500 CAD for my OINP submission using my first bank visa gold card, but the message i keep getting is "Authorization failed". I have 1120USD in the card which i think covers 1500 CAD. Does anyone know what the issue might be and help?
Seems like a bank issue. Call your bank to know the exact problem. Might be insufficient funds(maybe your bank charges a higher rate than the official rate you’re using to calculate the 1500) . The system might also just be flagging the payment if it suspects that someone is trying to defraud you. Best thing is to call the bank.
Savagethe21st: Hello future Canadians a friend wants to enter the pool now but she only has one degree. If she does WES verification now for her b.eng, will she have to pay the same price for WES when her diploma is completed or will there be a discount?
Yes there will be a discount. To add the new diploma, She can upgrade her 1st report for about 104dollars instead of paying 240 again.
sosanova: With these back to back large number draws within one week making it 14,000 ITAs sent out in total between last week and today and expect another large ITAs also next week before the end of March, and with Immigration ministers (FMRI) endorsing multi-year PNP levels plan, it means IRCC already set to announce and begin it program specific/occupation In demand/language specific draws by mid April based on Bill C19, where CRS score will no longer be a factor for getting ITA
CRS will always be a factor to getting ITA. iRCc said that they would do all-program draws alongside their C-19 draws
ITA- November 9 2022 AOR- December 2 2022 Medicals Passed - 12 January 2023 Biometrics linked from previous study visa refusals - 12 January 2023 RFV/PPR - 6th March 2023 Submitted at London VAC - 13th March 2023 Passport received/ COPR via DHL- 20th March 2023.
I’m super thankful and I wish everyone waiting the very best
Finally the journey is over after multiple study permit refusals.
naijainstinct: In as much as I wouldn't love to derail this thread with political banters, I will not keep silent on this one lest you think there was any iota of sagacity in the gibberish you posted above. In this travel thread, are people of various political affiliations, leanings and views. You became divisive when you used "your country". Are you a Ghanaian? When I read "your country is almost finished", I knew we were dealing with a bigot who is disguised as a concerned individual. I repeat once again that our country will flourish and prosper. Because you have a PR, you think you can come and run your watery mouth on a non-partisan thread. Nigeria will remain your first country whether you like it or not. And anybody who wishes bad on our country will experience that evil first. Let me also remind you very clearly how irrelevant you also are in the grand scheme of things. Nobody knows you and no one cares about your shitty opinion/advise. Yes, there is a lot of hope and bright future for Nigeria, one you will never get to benefit from if you continue with this your obnoxious mentality. I hope you were able to "pack" your entire family along as you were going to Canada else the joke's on you. A lot of us don't plan to stay forever in Canada or anywhere else. For some of us, it's a very short-term plan. Nigeria is still the home we will return to. Be guided. PS: I don't know your tribe and I don't care. I only addressed your uncouth statement. Next time, prophesy evil into your own life, don't generalize.
I’m not reading all of that. It seems you have too much time on your hands. Goodluck to you and whatever opinion you might have written up there.
