Prophet T.B.Joshua is not like your common prophets you get on the street. Have you seen him spreading an advert of his ministry on the streets of Lagos or elsewhere? Be careful. Just object to what he said, but do not call him a lair because he spoke the mind of God and when you insult the words of genuine prophets of God, you are insulting God and not the prophets you look at and thereby laying a curse on yourself.

On the one hand you're saying that false prophets exist, on the other you are passionately defending someone who many believe is one (i'll admit that many believe he isnt). You then said 'Have you seen him spreading an advert of his ministry on the streets of Lagos or elsewhere?' < Should we use that as a litmus test for 'common' prophets?

Furthermore, surely the way you spoke about common prophets means that you are degrading them in some way? Doesn't that mean you're also degrading God's servants by calling these people you called prophets 'common' and comparing them to one man?

But the bible says in 1 john 4:1-3, that not all message is from God, but let us test the spirit to know if it's of God... The question now- how do we know the spirit of God... Then go to Galatians 5:22, the answer is ther... So dear brothers and sisters always test the spirit and whatever we hear or see on anywhere should always be examined in the light of God's word.

The custom officer who molested travellers at the airport is a Nigerian. The police collecting bribe on the street and killing those who refused to pay is a Nigerian. The permanent secretary of a ministry who sits on government contract and collude with minister to divert fund is a Nigerian.

The civil servant who demands a tip before doing the job he is paid for is a Nigerian. The mechanic who cheats a car owner in order to get more money from him is a Nigerian. Students that are supposed to be studying to become better in solving problems in their country but are busy finding a way of short-changing the system are Nigerians. Pastors sweet-talking their congregation to collect the members' hard earned money are Nigerians... Bankers diverting customers' money are Nigerians.

In all the above listed, I have not mentioned the evils of government because the government of any country is a reflection of the followers.

We need a value re-orientation in the country to kill this get-rich syndrome that has eaten deep into the heart of everybody including religious houses.

Only Nigerians can save themselves from themselves.

I was shocked at the car Norwegians use on my first visit, and my wife got more shocked when We visited Germany. Long story short, when I told people back home here ( in Nigeria ) the most expensive car that very few people use in both countries ( the states visited - Stavanger and Hannover ), some Nigerians responded by telling me, they ( Germans and Norwegians ) don't have money and can't afford expensive cars.
