Congratulations and Welcome to Canada @Hephgirl.

I totally enjoyed reading all three parts of your landing gist. I also really admire how you and your hubby are prayerful. Keep making bold declarations according to the word of God and Canada would definitely yield all that God has already designated for you.

I really wish my fam and yours could be friends even though we’re in Ontario.

May God bless you.

Hello house
I'm about to obtain reference letter from my company, for provincial nominee PNP, but the challenge is I do not know the IRCC address to address the letter.
Can someone help me out here. ?

I have tried Google o, most of the results are province specific not a general IRCC address .
Please help

You may address it to the particular Province you are applying to for Nomination. Example - Ontario Immigrant Nominee Programme (OINP), Ontario Canada. That’s exactly how I addressed mine and my application was successful. Cheers.

Hello Newbie here,

AOR - November 28 2017
IP1/IP2 - Cant remember exact timelines
Ordered GMCS notes - 4 May 2018
ADR (New Passport bio page requested, cos mine expires in July 2018) - 11 May 2018
Had to get a new passport submitted scanned biopage - 15 May 2018

I haven't received any response since Tuesday, also i did not receive any confirmation of receipt when i sent my passport bio page.
Please for anyone that has sent ADR via email, did you receive confirmation? I am so confused and anxious, my application is 6 months already, I am still awaiting the GMCS notes i ordered.

Please house, what do you advice?

I might be wrong, but I believe ADR for Passport Bio Page requires you to upload via a placeholder in your CIC account. In any case, check through the email you got for specific instruction on where to upload it.

Credit goes to original poster, Mr. Rajan.

Analysis and long term prediction for the remaining 2018.

Seeing the yesterday’s draw, I started wondering what is waiting for us in the upcoming months. So I sat with the available data and tried to make some sense of it.

My analysis is based on last year’s express entry draw data and I am comparing it with this year. We know last year the total target for express entry was 71700. For that CIC ended up issuing 84685 no of ITAs. Now I am aware of the argument that many people are making here which is, the target is for total admission and each ITA issued may result in 2-4 or more immigrant considering the accompanying spouse and dependents. Now I can understand that statement but I would like to see it this way, “The year 2017 also had similar target but still they ended up issuing around 13000 more ITAS then the target.” Now maybe in 2017 there were many rejection. Maybe around 50% of ITAs resulted in rejection! But I find that hard to believe.

That is why I think it is safe to assume for this year’s target 74900 which is 4% more than last year will also result in around 4% more issuance of ITAs. So we can set the total ITA target (I am aware that there there no term such as ITA target) for 2018 in the region of 88000.

So we can set the possible ITA no for 2018 as 88000

Now let’s compare what happened in 2017 and this year up until now. Last year up until April there were 10 draws and total 35973 no of ITAs were issued. Compared to that this year only 8 draws happened and total no of ITAS issued were 24500. So we can see that CIC is not keeping pace with previous years trend.

Now let us consider there are no back to back draw or even if there is one, there maybe 3 or 4 weeks delay so for our calculation we will say there will be 2 draws each month. So 1 in may and 14 more in the last seven months, we have 15 draws left. And total ITAs to be issued in this 15 draws will be 88000-3500-24500 = 60000. So to get to that no, each remaining draw will have to issue 60000/15 = 4000 ITAs.

Now that is encouraging if you ask me. Up until now 9 draws happened in 2018 so far and ITAs issued were 28000. So Maybe it is unlikely for CIC to issued 60k iTAs in just 15 draws, that then opens the door for more than 15 no of draws which only means back to back draw or 3-4 draw per month.

Now the bottom line is, I firmly belive this year nof od ITAS issued will be similar to lasy year if not more. In that case CIC will have to do more draws in order to catch up. Last year maximum no of ITAs were issued in the first half of the year and this year they will space it out throughout the year. That means there will be no sudden spike in the cut off.

· So Sorry to those who are in 410-425 range, I feel they are very unlikely to get a ITA.

· For people in the range of 425-430 you have a decent chance.

· 430+ guys have a good chance.

· for people above 435 it is just a matter of time.

Now let us tackle the issue of high scoring entry in the profile. As per my calculation the no of 440+ entry per week varies from 1200-1750. Now if we consider an average of 1500 profile per week above 440 entering the pool, then in the remaining 30 or so weeks of the year we will have 45000 no of people entering or updating their profile and enter with 440+ score in the pool. So still then according to our calculation of 60000 more ITAS to be issued this year, we have 15000 space left for existing profile in the pool. That surely will bring down score in the 425-430 region.

Now I would like to say again the total ITAS to be issued this year is not certain. It maybe more than 88000 or less than that. But even if the no of ITAS is same like last year , there are so many more ITAs to be issued in the remaining months of this year which means score are not going to stay in the 440 region for much longer because CIC will not be able to continue in the pattern that they set up since the start of 2018. Because that will mean they miss their target which I think is not gonna happen because everyone seemed so excited with their 3 year plan that was announced at the end of last year.

So guys, don’t lose hope. Things gonna change soon, I am pretty certain about it, just mark my words,

Prediction for coming months.

· Two-three more draw to happen with 3500 ITAs, one possible back to back draws within next 4 weeks.

· 3750-4000 ITAs per draw will be issued after that .

· After that no of ITAs will start to decrease and will hover around 3000-3500 region.

** If you guys dont agree with the analysis, please share your reason and view and we can discuss the differences.

They have retracted all Abuja visa processing and all visa can now be gotten in UAE as before, so if your visa is still under process, when it is out you don't need to got to Abuja again and also visa change is back for Nigerians......see attached

Hi justi4jesu, with recent events, I do hope you have realized that this information is not accurate.

I have it on good authority that UAE is only issuing 1 month and 3 months tourist visas at the embassy in Abuja. Your travel agent would still have to apply for you normally in UAE, once it’s approved, he would send you the ‘issue new visa confirmation’ which you would need to take to the Embassy along with your attested PCC and Original Passport. Please note that they are now taking biometrics before issuing the tourist visas.

Anyone with contrary or same info can also contribute.

Thanks.

Please how authoritative is this information. The agents on Dubai are still insisting that the tourist visas would only be issued by the embassy in Abuja. They also informed that Police Clearance is required for tourist visas. Please I’m asking for a relative.

I am asking because I just filled it in my application based on personal measurements at home. Please can you clarify. Others who are familiar with this should please comment too.
Once again, congrats.

This is mostly requested by London Visa Office. Some folks on here have termed it the ‘Pre-PPR’ ADR. I just inputted the same information I provided previously post ITA. It’s not a biggie.

good morning efam, God is faithful and awesome. I will do a proper timeline and thanksgiving post when you confirm it is what I think it is grin You guys have been too awesome. kiss

Woke up to this mail this morning. please is this PPR mail?

- Am I to send it to Dubai office? I have never really seen any applicant on this platform that was required to send passports to Dubai.

- Should I use a prepaid envelope as requested by them, cos I only see people's request is to send to Ghana VO and they use a one way dhl package. I don't know which one is ARAMEX courier mail? Can I use dhl to send the mail from here? (I have highlighted this part of the letter in red)

- I also see in the mail that this Dubai visa office charges service fee for PASSPORT TRANSMISSION SERVICE (saw this description from their website United Arab Emirates: http://www.vfsglobal.ca/canada/uae/). Have you heard of this before? How do I go about payment please? (I have highlighted this part of the letter in red)

It’s PPR. Congratulations to you. It’s not Dubai office oh. The address is in Abu Dhabi. Read carefully and follow the instructions.

Congratulations on your PPR

Quick Question please, did you do anything before you got NOI for OINP?

I'm currently on 429 and kinda depending on OINP literarily because I don't know when ITA will fall on me through FSWP with this my score.

Someone told me to delete the previous EE profile I had created in December and recreate another one which I did on January 20th. Still, I have not received NOI sad

Gurus in the house, please help a sister, am I doing anything wrong?

See below for an update on OINP:
January 23, 2018

Express Entry – Human Capital Priorities Notification of Interest

Please be advised that the OINP has commenced issuing NOIs under the HCP stream. Following the issuance of NOIs, the OINP will post on its website a program update informing stakeholders of the methodology used to issue NOIs.

The results of yesterday’s round are as follows:

Number of invitations issued: 340
Date and time of portal search: January 19, 2018 at 3:00 EST
CRS score range: 440 to 446
Date Express Entry profile submitted: January 1, 2018 to January 19, 2018

The OINP is managing the volume of applications to the HCP stream at this time. The OINP will be issuing NOIs on a regular basis to applicants, who at minimum, have a CRS of 400 and meet all eligibility criteria.

Congratulations dear.

1. Please what do you think is my fate at 427? Should I be looking at PNP route?

2. It appears peeps that get ONIP are usually a few points away from the prevalent cutoff point. Considering the recent trend, what's the chance of getting NOI from Ontario?

3. Can you clarify the speculation of having to recreate a profile to be able to get Ontario's NOI? So many people claim its valid ( that is, newly created profile usually get nominated against older profiles) but hardly tender facts to prove it.

I hope your emotions will allow you respond to me oooo

Thanks a lot.

At 427, I think you can remain in the pool for a while and monitor the ITA trends in the coming weeks and months. IRCC is largely unpredictable, so no one can tell with certainty the likelyhood of the cut-offs dropping.

OINP maintains that they would keep sending NOIs to candidates in the pool with a minimum CRS of 400.

Finally, it’s not a speculation, it’s easier for them to identify candidates with newly created profiles in the pool. See excerpts from the OINP website below:

‘Prospective applicants to the HCP Stream are encouraged to create a new profile in the Express Entry system to make it easier for Ontario to identify their profile during its search in the federal government’s Express Entry pool. Please note that if you create a new Express Entry profile, you must delete your old profile.’

My great Nairaland people, PPR has landed!!!

To God be the glory!

For a PNP applicant whose application was processed at the London Visa Office, I think it was pretty quick.

My Timeline:

IELTS: 11/02/2017 L-8.5, R- 9, W- 7, S- 8.5

WES ECA completed 2nd June (started the process Dec 2016, but OOU didn't want me to be great. Paid over 120k to get it done eventually)

EE Profile: 5th June

CRS: 408

OINP NOI: 9th June

OINP AOR: 3rd July

OINP Nomination: 19th July (CRS increased to 1008)

ITA: 2nd Aug

AOR: 16th Sep

MEP/iP1/Na2: 13 Oct

IP2: 15th Dec

ADR: 15th Jan (Height & Eye Color)

PPR: 24th Jan

I'd like to share a few highlights from my application:

Our POF was a savings plan in spouse's name. Got a letter from the financial institution stating the surrender value of the plan and another letter from my spouse authorising me to use the proceeds as settlement funds. Please note that I also had a personal loan running in my own name and it was evident from my bank statements. However the settlement funds remained unencumbered.

No Visa refusal history whatsoever but still ended up in LVO. Although my spouse lived in the UK for a few years.

OINP usually sends NOI to applicants in the pool with CRS 400 and above. Their process is quite straight forward. If you're in the low 400s and you have CAD 1,500 to spare, by all means go for it!

There's so much more I wanna share, but I'm so overwhelmed with emotion at the moment. I guess i'll be back later.

Thanks to all the contributors on this thread. You guys rock!!!!

Wish everyone all the best.

2) Any idea of how much it cost to re-new passport, and is there anyone with contact details of a reliable immigration officer at Ikoyi passport office?

Hello there. I’ll answer your first question. Yes it would be an issue. If she registered with the passport as form of identification, she would need to provide the same for admittance to write the exam. She cannot be admitted with an expired Passport. I therefore advise you to get a renewal ASAP.
