I believe he should av started from the efcc to fight against his conviction before clamouring for his re instatement. And to wait for 5 years before coming back pls has this guy been sleeping.

I think except when a girl is sincia, she is only trying to put up self defences if she does not want u or make u see her as a cheap girl. but av been so lucky over the past 3 years because all the girls av met have always told me that they dont have a bf.

I agree with the speaker of the house of representatives because charity begins at home. It is high time the niger delta governors gave account of what they have received from the allocations given to them by the federal government so far because they can make a huge impact from the funds they receive currently if they are sincere about developing the region and ameliorating the lots of the people.

Am planning of getting a peugeot 406 prestige( 2001 - 2002 MODELS) . Consequent upon this, I need useful info from fellow nairalanders about this car. One surprising thing is that the car appears cheap i.e between 750 and 1.2m compared to the honda Civics, accords and toyota camries within the same age range yet it is an official car used by a lot of government agencies and ministries and it evokes a lot of respect from people. The only thing am worrying about the car is that ma friends have complained about its maintenance costs, durability, fuel efficiency and its tolerance of nigerian roads. Since av not had any experience I do not know if they are correct but one apprehension I have is why the car is quite cheap.

Thanks to all of u for ur valuable advice. I can assure u that I will act based on the advice u all have given.

Am very grateful for all ur advice and having gone through ur responses, I want to believe that the general consensus is that a picanto will not be able to withstand the rigours involved in such a journey. Am grateful and I think i will be a little bit more patient and try go get a car with a bigger engine as i prefer driving by road myself except am flying.

Please am seriously considering buying a new car even if a Kia Picanto instead of getting duped and cheated by mechanics who dont have any conscience when dealing with car owners. I have caught ma mechanic several times collecting monies  from me far in excess of market prices (sometimes twice) for  my car spare parts, at least with a new car I could mitigate how much my mechanic will cheat me as the frequency of faults on the car will be reduced drastically, but my problem is will a car like Kia Picanto which is around the limit I can afford now be able to enable me shuttle Port Harcourt and Lagos at least once every 2 months.

For me the issue of where they are trained is secondary. the main issue is for the government to fully rehabilitate these boys to make them productive and contribute meaningfully towards  the betterment of society.

I am of the opinion that there are only a few diferences between them.
1. For instance while an armed robber uses weapons, a mechanic uses tools
2. While an armed robber uses force , a mechanic does not
3. While an armed robbers experience can cause emotional and psychological problems, an experience with a mechanic   
    can ameliorate ur car's condition or excerbate it.
But in the final analysis they all extort money from you (except a good mechanic).

Sincially speaking, am really at a loss about the stance and seriousness of the present government in fighting corruption. With all the noise about the determination to fight corruption and considering the several probe panels that have not yielded any auspicious results coupled with the less than impressive performance of the antigraft bodies. One begins to wonder if we are really serious in this country to fight this monster called corruption.

your friend just feels bad he should be able to get over it, since its not d first time she is lieing, even though its bad, maybe he should let her be especially since she is been failing over and over again maybe her mind is not set for d course she is doing. u cant force someone to be wat she doesnt want. u should love someone for who dat person is and not for how u want to make d person. love is most important thing. afterall she was not educated b4 he started goin out with her. your friend should ask himself with or without d diploma does he still love her?

Please naira landers I neeed ur help, My friend has been dating his fiancee since 2005 when she was about entering school for her Diploma. He was her major sponsor in schul and did encourage her a great deal with books he bought, taught her personally, helped her in assignments and paid fees at least I can testify to that. She spilled a couple of times in schul but she told him that she passed the last resit she wrote. She was even audacious to tell his mum and friends including me that she had passed all the papers she resitted for since ma friend was of the opinion that she should finish her diploma before they finally settle down because of the difficulty of combining education and family responsibilities. This is two months to their wedding and she called me and ma friend over the weekend that she lied about passing her exams because her conscience has been disturbing her, I and his mom were furious that his girl had lied and deceived us again ( as she has been  doin always). The thing is as a graduate ma friend craves for a partner with at least some education with gud behaviour as a wife that is what we have been drumming into her ears from the day their relationship became serious. Well he told her that it was over since she was reluctant to change and resit again for the papers she failed. Of course she has always been lying, deceitful and her character has been less than impressive for all I know but she is quite a beautiful damsel and romantic 2. He said he was not willing to wait further for another year for her to get her Diploma when she  was not serious to assure him she will be seroius to pass her exams after all he has done and willing to do for her. His mum prevailed upon him to renege his decision which he relayed to her but the thing is I dont know what and how to advise him since I know her better than his mom. I need ur help since she now already has a child for him.

:-XAm realy surprised at this latest drama between NDIC and the IG, especially when the IG is almost bowing out of office. But this story has once again comfirmed that anyone who lives in glass houses should not throw stones.
