Hey guys. For you all who are expecting call-up for offer letter/training. Have you been asked to send your 3-month pay slip?

Just received a request to forward 3-month payslip. ESR hopeful!

Obviously, the invite is proof that I am being considered for another position, and ignoring it means forgoing the position.

History: After passing the test in june, I had the first interview in july. The feedback I got was that they were progressing with someone else with more years of experience, and that I would be placed in a pool for consideration for subsequent available positions. I am yet to hear from them ever since.

I have different ideas ringing in my head on what to do, but I need suggestions. Anyone had this same experience?

I just got an invite to write the aptitude test in Abuja. I, who lives in Lagos. How do I effectively communicate them? Is it possible to have it re-scheduled to Lagos? I guess this is for the north position applied for. Moreover, I wrote the first test in june. This contravenes the policy of not writing more that once in 12 months(modified...I just saw in the invite that it's now 18months)

Don't doubt those who saw only 6. It's really awkward how opera mini on blackberry hid the C and N. It's one crappy browser. All that were on display were O's and M's. I had to use UC browser to locate the letters.

My lexus rx 300, '99 model is emitting black smoke continually. I did scanning and I got the following
report:

P0171- System too lean Bank 1
P0100- Mass or volume air flow A circuit
C0301- Please refer to vehicle service maual
P0141- O2 sensor heater cirucit Bank 1 sensor 2
P0441- Evaporative emission system incorrect
purge flow
P0446- Evaporative emission system vent control
circuit.
After clearing, only P0171 and P0141 were
showing.

Please I need your suggestions and ideas on
fixing the problem.

My MAF sensor reads 0.01 when the live
performance was checked. I tried two different
tokunbo MAF sensors but the smoke was still
coming out. So, I am guessing it's either not a
problem of the MAF sensor, or the tokunbo MAF
sensors are not okay themselves.

I was advised to change all sensors. However, since the system is said to be too lean on bank 1, I thought I should change only the sensor 1 on bank 1, since sensor 2 was never there when I bought the car and it didn't smoke. As regards the location of sensor 1 Bank 1, I guess it's on the exhaust, underneath the car, right?

u can detach all the O2 sensor in turn to get faulty one that is causing the issue or u call my number on my signature ,I can lend u some remote support.

Typical of lexus just remove and replace the faulty o2 sensor and black smoke will disappear.
The faulty O2 sensor is actually sending wrong signal ''system too Lean" to the ecu and the ecu is now overreacting by dumping fuel into the system and that is why u have the black smoke.

Ok. I guess you are referring to the Bank 1 sensor 2 that came out in the scan. This sensor was not attached when I bought the car, because the catalyst to which the sensor was attached was removed and replaced with a pot which has no opening for the sensor, and it was not smoking until recently. So are you saying I should change this same sensor, or another?

Give an idea of the salary range, please. Some may have to travel far for the interview. They should have fore-knowledge.

Maybe they hire only those currently working. Anyone not working presently but got an invite to the 2nd interview?

I wonder what their motive could be. Why do they need a contract staff? Why don't they fast-track the recruitment process of the current applicants to fill any vacant slot? Is it like those who attended the second interview are not enough to fill the required slots? IE arousing suspicion.

Anyone who sees or hears from @akin08 should tell him he's falling boiz hand.

Peeps, how long after the test day does it take before ETS uploads the verbal and quant scores to your account?

Is it possible that some questions in the various prep materials would appear in the actual test?

I am curious as to how points are awarded to sentence completion questions which have 2 or 3 gaps to fill in the verbal. Must you get all 2 or 3 gaps available to get the one point? Do u lose the one point if you get one of the 3 gaps wrong?
Is it possible for 2 universities to have the same GRE code for the same course?

Patience is a virtue...buh seriously evn wit a success mail that states completion of ur second test. U still nid God 2 get past dis stage at least 90% overall performance if ur appl got no referral inside Shell...Seriously when it us ur turn to enta Shell u wil get there.

Sorry, what's this referral thing you mentioned? How does it improve your chances of getting in?

You need to know that the questions aint d issue, d harsh and unfrndly environment trying to make one confused and disorganised is! I think I av tried. God's success to us all

They were only simulating the scenarios you would encounter on the job. Being a CSR @ a DISCO no be ice-cream o. Do you know how irate wrongly-billed electricity consumers can be. Tell me you, even an applicant, have never used a curse word on 'NEPA'. You would have helped yourself a great deal if you did not allow their hostility get to you and smiled all through. I had a tip of this during my ESR interview. Nonetheless, good luck!

Bro, as regards the CV you pushed for the positions in the north, a few peeps here have confirmed receiving mails from the HR. Largely, most have not been contacted. What do you think is the reason for the disparity?

Please help inquire from your friends who are staff to help find out fro the HR, the precise date we will be invited for the next stage. This raises concern because there are people who completed their interviews in august or there about but have not resumed. They might just have interviewed us to keep in a pool till vacancies pop up. Hoping this is not the case though.
