Neymar's father said his son would derive a greater pleasure playing with Messi for a day than playing with Cristiano for a whole season. What does that imprint in people's mind? I guess it means he reveres the Argentine demi-god and as such would be loyal to the core in order to learn a lot from him.

I remember a time where he and Pele were stoking some flames; but just before Barca played Santos at the Club World Cup he changed his tune to one of respect for Messi and Barca. I think Dani Alves had something to do about that. And the demolition of Santos left him in no doubt about how Barca and Messi compared to both Santos and him.

Yes nothing is concrete, but Neymar does not rival Messi directly: his preference is to play from the wings. If country rivalry was an issue, Dani Alves would not be so supportive of Messi; and the partnership between Maradona and Careca would not have worked. Footballers as professionals know the difference between playing for club and country. This is a quote of what Neymar said a while back:



He obviously knows who the shot-caller is, and he will gradually step into that role as Messi's role dwindles in about 5 years from now.

Not read of that.. If at all, such a source is dubious. Messi is currently the hghest earner in world football in terms of gross earnings from endorsements.

In all, what we have are play out factors. So many what ifs, which equals to nuffin real and concrete. Nobody knws for sure whether Neymar would turn out good or not.

My only concern is the on pitch effect of having a Messi-Neymar on the same reason end of an attacking move. Both players enjoy being the focal point, how will one bend for the other? Not that alone, we have the country rivalry; Brazil/Argentina, which opens a recourse to the Pele/Maradona comparison since both stars bear liking semblance to the old familiar foes.

Both players are good no doubt but having two captains on the same boat has been proven to lead to disaster time and again.

Now please don't draw me into an argument. Now when we were at secondary level when the concept of infinity could not be easily put across we used undefined for any solution where a numerator is being divided by zero. But at higher levels where we can now grasp the concept we know that dy/dx as dx--->0 =infinity. So undefined has now been replaced by infinity.
Now let's use common logic and english can you define infinity?

As an engineer we say this solution is an absurdity. Natural law of mathematics says "anything divided by nothing is undefined". So they. Simple solution that can never change is 0/0=infinity.

The guy is a genius but he is wrong. We do not need to prove or argue over this.
