shukuokukobambi: I've actually read things like you wrote here a long time ago and was shocked when i read about the offer from the US ambassador to the police IG. It meant the man knew something obviously. Something wasn't right about that coup for sure. The fact that the US was aware does not mean they were complicit. Although if Murtala had parlayed with them, they would have informed him. One thing that has been proven is that the CIA actually always has more information than our local security apparatus including the DSS. Remember recently how it was reported that Buhari canceled his visit to the ND due to a security report shared by the US. |

Crime › Re: Robbers Shoot Driver Dead In Delta (Graphic Pics) by logicab: 6:55am On Aug 07, 2016 |
Myself2: Ignorance about first aid killed the driver. From what I can see,the gunshot wound was merely to his upper arm,and not to any delicate organ like heart, lung etc.So some blood vessels were severed and muscles torn, all he needed to do was as soon as the robbers zoomed off,he should have folded his shirt and used it to apply pressure on the wound just to stop the bleeding, ask passers by to help tie the wound firmly and let somebody rush him to the nearest hospital where he would be stabilized and would still be alive today, but alas he did not know what to do so he simply BLED TO DEATH.
Hope the mole in the meeting that tipped off the robbers gets caught Look well and you will see an exit wound on right side of his back. He was definitely shot on the right side of the chest. You think that amount of blood will be from bleeding from the arm? |

Judas everywhere Actually, most of the robberies are based on information from the bank itself. Either a bank insider or an informant inside the bank acting like a customer. |

gartamanta: I don't know what you are talking about. The second Niger Bridge just like the first connects the two Igbo cities of Onitsha and Asaba. Igbos have been traveling to Lagos since the 20's, 30's, 40's and even the 50's when there was no Bridge. Eh ehn. Blow the bridge up now; and revert to swimming and rowing canoe across. |

gartamanta: You guys act as if this decree 34 was made to affect just Igbos only, it affected everybody. The decree was not the problem, the problem was that Ironsi was Igbo. Gowon enacted an even worse unitary system than Ironsi by creating States and taking away resource control but nobody said anything. Continue twisting and turning. First you claim Decree 34 did not unify the Civil Service. Next, you wonder if what I posted was really from Decree 34 (despite claiming you knew the decree inside out, yet couldn't even identify an excerpt). And then you claim it corroborates your claim (which as far as I remember, was that the decree did not change anything about the Civil Service). Now, you have settled on "the decree affected everybody". I am waiting on your next twist. |

gartamanta: Actually, what you quoted ( if it is indeed decree 34) only goes to support what I said in a previous post. If decree 34 unified the regional services as one, it then Means that anyone could work anywhere just as we have today. So what is the big deal about decree 34? Like I said, if you don't understand that in English, I can translate to another language. That's the best I can do for you under the circumstances. |

Did Aguiyi ironsi not cover the coup plotters? With his henchman Nzeogwu... My dear u people think of only yourself n it was seen in biafra.. Remember history will always have it that your people or part of them truncated democratic rule in Nigeria and not the Notherners..it is a fact.. I always laugh when I read or hear the "corrupt politicians" angle. Donatus Okafor who killed Maimalari was caught red handed for embezzlement of funds and normally should have been at least demoted or dishonorably discharged. Maimalari stepped in and got him off the hook, and he returned the favor by murdering him. |
