They are only few basic reason that most observers already know. First, we don't want to be get ourselves committed to any thing that will prevent or interfere in our achieving or realising of our grand Biafran project, which is of utmost importance than anything to we Igbos.

Hey guys here on nairaland. I know most of u guys are against dating and marrying virgin girls, whom guys claim are so inexperienced, naive and illiterate or not modern in outlook. But then, that's not a problem , how do you guys deal with girls who are so used to sex with multiple partners? These days, even less educated girls in less modern states have what they refer to as final zina, whereby they arrange to have final sexual intercourse in the week of their marriage or just a few days after marriage? These types of rubbish are all too rampant ,because prospective husbands do not care to make sure that their newly married brides are virgins and if they aren't , why they are not. Even the newly married brides or girls themselves are now believing that no body will question them concerning how they played around sexually with all kinds of bad,evil men before marriage. Men pls stop marrying girls who are not chaste, insist on them being virgins before marriage or no marriage or u gonna divorce them immediately after marriage ,whilst claiming a refund of all u spent.

That's a criminal act,not politics at all, except if you are trying to link it to some dirty politics. What we are trying to get ppl of the east to understand is that when playing national politics they should appeal to all, not just a section. Sectional votes only cant win the presidency. The late MKO Abiola clearly showed during his time that a southerner can defeat a kano man right in kano and in the whole north convincingly. Tinubu also nearly repeated the same feat this time around. I still wonder how igbos or peter obi thought he could win by not appealing to a very large chunk of the populace esp the Muslims and ppl from the northwest, north east and more than half of the north central ppl?. With this type of sectional template that he displayed, if he had won, his presidency would have been more than disastrous.

Our southeast ppl have to play politics the way it should be played, not all these minority, tribal, christian politics that Peter Obi did with the general elections in February. National politics isn't Anambra politics. Our eastern brothers need to know that they've to reach out to groups, regions and other people of different and diverse orientations ,worldview and religions. They can't just assume that they can play national politics by just getting people of similar religions,tribes and view to vote for them and then expect to win. That's nothing short of a pipe dream.They should first show readiness to be pan Nigerians , and ready to integrate and also accept/believe in diversity of the nation. Somebody like peter obi should go back to the drawing board and see where a and how he got it wrong and stop fanning embers of hatred and violence

Northern men esp hausas are in the habit of mostly marrying young sexually naive girls or virgins instead of well matured ladies, who should be about 25. What seems incomprehensible to me is that most of those young baby girls they are marrying are really so small, how can they easily disvirgin those small teenage girls on the nights of their marriages? I hope our men here are not trying other races where their teenage girls could have bodies of 25 yr old ladies.

Our long held dream and ambition of taking over Lagos is finally coming to fruition today. Igbo's have gotten the numbers and we exercising the right and franchise to clip off Lagos from the west and join it to the east. We are today getting our sixth Igbo state, though far away but still not bad.
