bighead1: A man was in his jeep, he got to the Kano traffic, he looked up and he saw a man flying an airplane, he said" how i wish, if I will reach up to this level so i can avoid kano traffic, when he looked behind he saw a man in a small car praying to God to give him a jeep to avoid the heat, As that one looked up he saw another man in a motorcycle (Okada) also praying to God to give him a small car because the sun is too much. Another man was trekking across the bridge also praying for God to give okada to avoid crossing the bridge all the time, As he walked down he saw a cripple also praying for God to give him legs so that he can cross the bridge without wheelchair, As the cripple was praying he saw ambulance passing by and the person inside also praying for God to give the dead body life and take away the two legs. Moral Lesson: No matter your condition always give thanks to God. If you are grateful to God today, just take 2seconds of your time and "LIKE IF YOU ARE THANKFUL" I am stealing this, no vex oo |

minnietope: Good morn everyone, @irridemi, I am also in your shoes, I want to apply with my hubby and son at the same time this May/June, av admission for Sept 15.
House, we need to know if anyone from this forum, knows someone/people who have applied together with their family and were successful/unsuccessful and reasons, documents submitted stuffs like that.
N.B. My hubby went to study in the UK for his MSc, we (my son and I) applied after him and were denied (reason was we were applying later than him), when he got there some of his classmates who applied with their family at the same time and were given.
So, for us the UK experience is a huge factor in us deciding to want to apply together at the same time to Canada.
Thank you all in advance.
Also the people already in Canada your input is highly appreciated in advance.
Cheers. For the Canada student visa application, leaving your family behind is a proof of strong home tie and with that you have a high chance of getting ur visa if other documents and in check... So it will be better for the applicant to apply first and the family can join later... My thoughts |

All other docs too are from the US. What do I do now cos u just broke my heart. You can use his statement from the US bank, your sponsor can be anywhere, as long as the statement in either in English or French I guess... Be thou not afraid or hearthbroken |

Akoachere: Greetings my people. Please help oooh. I have a friend who did sciences during his secondary education but graduated in Economics from the university. Now he wants to apply for diploma course in nursing in Canada. My questions are 1. Please what are his chances to be granted admission? 2. Hope not a red flag from the VO since his degree is in Economics. Please house help oooh. Thanks in advance He should be able to get admission into practical nursing if his waec is good ( i just got admission for jan 2016).. Then VO, Im not sure it will be a good idea to tell them he has a bsc in Economics because they are both not related in any way and the practinal nurse diploma is lower than the degree he already has... My thoughts tho... But for the admission part, what section is he looking to apply for? he should do that fast because the course gets filled very fast.... You know the admission is the koko, that after that the rest can follow |

drealsheggs: @lollipop25, thanks for the kind information. But, i am non science student , and i am interested in nursing course. please do you know if there are diploma programs for those who want to become a nurse assistant or an auxiliary nurse.... another issue that i am having is the tuition fees, it is very expensive and i don't have anyone to sponsor me. i am also using this opportunity to solicit for financial assistance as regarding this my situation. The only nursing diploma I know is the practical nursing for 2 years... As for the fees, not sure which of the schools offer the course for less so if have to be prepared financially |

drealsheggs: @lollipop25, please are there colleges that u can recommend for me, that their tuition ranges from between $13k - $15k, and do you also know if most of those colleges tuition must be paid before someone leaves naija or be paid upon arrival in canada? What session are u applying for, fall or winter 2016? I have applied for same course to Bow valley college but for winter 2016... Like someone recommended, conestoga college in Ontario offer the course, the Alberta province You have bow vally college, lethbridge college, keyano , medicine hat college and some others.. Some colleges in Ontario dont give practical nursing to international students though... So if you are applying for falL this you will have many choices as not all of them have the course for winter start date butyou have to apply now or else you will be put on waiting list though depending on the number of applicants they have but its advisable to apply 8 to 10months before the start of the course.. As for the fees I am not sure if its a must you pay all the fees before leaving naija but most of the colleges request for part payment or less before they can send you admission letter or before you can secure a seat.. |

drealsheggs: Hello people, please does anyone know nursing colleges that offer nursing assistant or auxiliary nursing diploma of 1 or 2years, and with a low tuition fee in canada? Most of the colleges offer practical nursing diploma for 2years... Its around 13 to 15k. depending on the school... I havent seen anyone less but u can use google to find out if there is any school that offer the course for less...But again depends on how low u are looking at... |

To all the guys saying yes 'beauty' is very important and so they cant marry an ugly girl, what if 'beauty' is all she has to bring to the table? course every man wants a woman they can proudly show off, but that shouldn't be the focus when choosing a wife. There are lotta things a guy should look for when it comes to choosing a wife and not focusing on physical attributes alone. Chaka Demus - Your face is pretty but ur character dirty "" lol... Beauty is good but shouldnt be the first on the list ... I have said this before, a pretty girl with an ugly attitude is ugly... Attitude character can she cook? can she clean? what if she is not good in bed is she ready to make sacrifices to make her home or marriage? Is she the type that wil tell u "i cant slice the onion cuz i dont wanna spoil my nails" lol and about kids, if the guy is good looking, chances are the kids wont come out ugly besides children no dey ugly these days.. This is why there is high divorce rate these days because people are getting married for the wrong reasons |

okchris: @mrnilobrawn I saw on my email that you tried to send me a PM. And below that, I also saw an email from cic. Immediately, I knew it was a delay because I was expecting an update and not their email. So, normal you have not satisfied me, blah blah: Travel History, Family Ties in Canada and Home Country, Length of Stay and Purpose of visit. Submitted all documents excluding my academic docs. But that not withstanding, they give who they wanna give and delay who they wanna delay. But I don't have time or money to waste for now, so, I'm on to the next one (Plan B) surely not to repackage and refire. Maybe I will go into Canada later after my Plan B, without going through much stress. Bless... In Btwn. I noticed they have been delaying Colleges and giving more trvs to Uni applicant. I may be wrong though. May God help us. |
