Why did it take long to take such a simple decision? Even if you have to rub someone’s ego to achieve it. I thought they were planning something more strategic. Our leaders are backwards.

They were not exactly correct to use the word Christians, the reason for the differing opinions but considering terrorist activities against woman and children as a vulnerable group is apt. Supporting Israel against Hamas was successful, now they want to spearhead their agenda in other terrorist threatened countries and no doubt, Nigeria is one of the leading countries. One question that should be in our minds is, why Nigeria? Definitely there are intel and newer information, now that one of the terrorist stronghold has been disarmed and we may be in a more precarious situation than we thought in few years. Even if there is no information, the good thing for us is that all this fake and political nonsense would stop before US army step their foot into the country. So let the threat continue at least we haven’t heard about bandits since last week

How does these improves our educational system. People could still drop out of school at any grade. Does this help the curriculum or provides funding for not dropping out of school? By the time you scrap JSCE exams you reduce the potential of students discovering which of the courses they are good at either science, art or commerce. Or will that be scrapped too? I remember your results were prerequisite to move to any of the 3 sections then.
How is changing the the national anthem helping us and now changing the educational system? All of these emperorish interference , just sacking and changing leadership in all sectors and upturning processes without proper assessment of areas of defect should be resisted and protested against.
Why sack VCs, change university name, change hospitals board, sack management everywhere in all parastatals without any meaningful intervention? Is everything politics ?

A Nigerian President needs to be able to fly in a plane owned by Nigeria as and when needed.

People who say the prime ministers of some countries in Europe use commercial planes. Yes, but those countries airports and airlines are very well connected to other countries.

Nigeria airlines don't fly to many countries. I think Airpeace only flies to the UK.

So, what if Nigeria's President needs to travel to France, USA, Brazil etc? He should fly Air France, or United Airlines? What if those airlines are not available on the day he needs to fly?

Because the price of beans and garri is high, Nigeria should not buy an aeroplane? I disagree.

The Nigerian government can do both - buy the plane and continue to work to make life easier for citizens.

Booked an impromptu flight from Lagos to Asaba via United Nigeria to Asaba from Lagos . Booked the flight at 9:33am, it was a 1pm flight that cost ₦86,956.52. landing 2pm. Aim was to travel back same day .

Got to the airport at 11:30am. Checked email, no cancellation , so I walked up to the check in counter .

Frankly, I take united Nigeria and I can say they really okay. The last I took was also to Asaba and the flight did move to its destination, Asaba. Maybe some errors and more airlines don’t want to be caught up in the current trends happening with Nigeria airlines.

I think Dana airline should be ban until the aviation regulators to proper reassessment of that airline. I boarded a flight from PHC to Lag, the flight was flying like a duck in the air, swinging from left to right.
I don’t use Dana airline anymore

I’m surprised at a whooping 75 likes on this post. It shows the degree of decay happening in the mind of a current day female. No man wants to drain you. They only want be sure also that you’re responsible and not just a bunch of burden. Same as you want to be sure of the man you want to spend your time with. Being responsible can be in any form, not necessarily giving money or material things. Using your money to take care of yourself alone shows that you’re not ready for marriage.

Banks are the most dubious and fraudulent of all industries in Nigeria. Because 85% of illegal funds in Nigeria still moved within the banks. I strongly believe one of the key sector a serious president should purge to fight and curb corruption, crimes and fraud is the bank.
They will always appear clean and post huge profit even when the economy is down because they are the repository and channel for fund transfer whether legal or illegal. This also show that there is still a lot of money circulating in this country, unfortunately it only gets to some set of people.

Nigeria government, federal and state inclusive always reactive, never proactive. If there is no problem with the grid system nobody will execute power plant project to completion just on paper for personal gains and to score cheap points for election.
