soberdrunk: Five years is a long time to be with someone and not know where it's going, sometimes you just have to man up. Within that time she bore Sarkodie a child, something most on NL shame Nigerian women for all the time for doing before marriage. Tuface's wife Annie stood by him for a long time before they married ( even though he had kids elsewhere) as did one of Psquare's wife Lola stand by him for many years so please think before you berate Nigerian women so easily. 2 Likes |

benkz001: FFS have you Nigerian men no shame? Always talking down and badly about Nigerian women at every opportunity. Don't you get tired of it? No wonder they are running into the arms of White men. There is something really disgusting in the way you people treat Nigerian women.Even your fellow African men are ashamed of you for doing it so easily. 1 Like |

Lordlestat: Nothing embarrassing about it. I was supporting France today simply because of all the Black players. Same as Nigerians supporting Anthony Joshua. I will celebrate Black success and excellence wherever I see it. If African countries could get their acts together people would not leave for distant lands. Sports men or otherwise and we are all ashamed of that fact. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Runalong333: Here is some info about it. You can view a video there although I watched a different documentary on it which was longer. But in the meantime, just so you can see it is not made up. https://www.democracynow.org/2009/10/1/south_africas_poor_targeted_by_evictions 3:50 seconds to 5:39 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7_XpMIcgfsQ&t=84s 1 Like |

Runalong333: COPY AND PASTE WHAT I ACTUALLY WROTE MY DEAR. You will see your lack of comprehension of what was written is your problem here. They did not kill people for land and again, you did not see me type that. They moved people off the land and some were killed in the process. It did get swept under the carpet precisely because of the World Cup in 2010. The people it affected the Black South Africans shared their experience or are you accusing them of lying? If you were not aware then say that, don't just claim it's made up. Even the fact you are still debating it here shows you have done no research of your own. 1 Like |

Runalong333: Just copy and paste what I ACTUALLY said. It's here on NL What you are responding to is what I didn't write. I did not make it seem anything. You are twisting words and accusing me of writing them my dear. If anything you owe me an apology. I will post the info here for you about what happened leading up to 2010 World Cup. Whether Malema was aware or not, or did something or not it happened and the people it affected shared their experience at the time. 1 Like |

Runalong333: Go back and read what you quoted of me again. But this time slowly so you comprehend what is actually being said. I said SA cities are better than any city in Nigeria. Did you not see that? I also said they are not jealous. Did you miss that too or do I need to quote and bold what I said? You could have saved your novel by just understanding what was actually written. The stadium was built and any country with the resources and access to expertise can build it. The stadium is a man made structure afterall. There was controversy at the time because of the way people were moved off the land to make way for the World Cup stadium. It was actually quite violent and some people were killed. There documentaries about it here in the UK at the time. By the way the term salty does not mean jealousy it just describes a negative feeling about someone or something. 1 Like |

Jayceon: That's what I said. It had to be built. I'm not unaware of how FIFA works there as plenty of media coverage of that fact at the time leading up to completion. Lots of investigative journalism too. As for your second part, is that not exactly what I said? Just because you know my origin is of Nigerian heritage it should not mean you assume my opinions to be anti SA. Just read what I ACTUALLY posted then you would have seen I am saying the EXACT same thing as you. 1 Like |

tungamaje: They had to build the infrastructure there first and there was plenty of scandal about the world cup there it at the time of building. Any country can, if they have the resources, build any city in SA or anywhere around the world. I agree that the OP is misguided in his comparisons but SA has its down sides just as Nigeria has. At the moment SA's best cities are better than Nigeria's best cities. That's the truth. 1 Like |

Mandela and WizKid have nothing to do with one another. Mandela is more well known and a legend with a legacy that shaped history even with his mistakes. WizKid is doing very well just like many other Nigerian artists so there is no relation between the two. It's not jealousy because if the only thing to change was nationality they would not have an issue at all. They are not jealous they are simply salty. |
Politics / Re: Why Are The Following Countries Jealous Of Nigeria? by londoner: 6:56am On Jul 06, 2018 |
I don't think they are jealous but they really dislike Nigerians to an irrational level ( don't know about Botswana though) and they hate it when anything good or positive happens through Nigerians. They will quickly deny the good Nigerians among them in their country in a bid to only see them Nigerians bad. Kenya, SA and Ghana have their own issues to attend to though, while Nigerians should face ours. Having said that, we don't gain anything if they turn around tomorrow and claim they like Nigerians. They don't gain anything from their common dislike of Nigerians either. 2 Likes |

Raising cattle in factories isn't actually better. You just assume it's better because the factory is in the West. Cattle are also grazed in open fields in the west just not in cities. Animals roaming free in fields is better all round. That's the truth. 1 Like |

Which cold weather are they talking about? It is summer in Russia now and it is warm with some places having high temperatures unless you're in the mountains maybe. You can see from all the games including all Nigeria matches ( that they supposedly came for) that it is sunny and warm. Somebody is lying. 1 Like |

It is EVERYTHING to do with education because he is speaking out of ignorance. These are parents of albino children. It's 2018 and it's about time Nigerian men stopped punishing Nigerian women for the gaps in their own knowledge. She should stand her ground. I would not give him a test and if I did and it proved ( as it would) that he is wrong. I would divorce his silly arse for rejecting his own child and disrespecting me too. He is rejecting his daughter because he does not see her as perfect and a child he would be happy to dress up and ' show off' like he does his first son. African men need to stop dragging Africa backwards with the way they think. 1 Like

jrusky: The fact that he obviously knows nothing about how albinism works as a RECESSIVE gene is a lack of education on the matter. The issue is with him and NOT with her because he lacks knowledge. He and his family should be tested for the gene and his wife too if she wants to. There is no need to doubt paternity based on an albino child. He should be tested for the gene since he is so much in favour of tests. 1 Like |

Flye: Yes, albinos have blond or ginger hair. It's the lack of pigmentation. Just Google search 'black albinos' and see for yourself. How many albinos with dark hair have you seen? I've seen none personally. While you're at it Google search 'parents of black albinos' and you'll see that Mike has made a complete fool of himself. 1 Like |

Nigeria needs someone that has radical dismantling and growth as his or her intention. Nigeria must be unrecognisable under their leadership. I doubt Duke will deliver that. It's not about declaration or intention to run in the lead up to an election, it's about what you have been doing politically and socially in the Nigerian or international political space BETWEEN ELECTIONS. That shows true attitudes towards Nigerian politics as a whole and not simply presidential ambition. 1 Like |

fero007: In comparison to Lagos, yes. But not Abuja really because the people are calm and friendly on a normal day. I wasn't actually very impressed with Accra the first time I went and it was actually because I had seen Abuja first. Even in some of the so called high brow areas in Accra the side roads were like dirt roads ( at that time). Accra also lacked street names which I hear they have only recently rectified and for a city as old as Accra it was really surprising to me. 2 Likes |
