$2.1billion was shared mostly by northern politicians instead of buying arms because the northerners knew that Boko Haram was an instrument of the north to fight Jonathan government in order to create a situation of gross insecurity, which shall make the world and Nigeria's electorate reject Jonathan in the polls for a northern presidential candidate. Dasuki felt there was no need for the arms. Even President Buhari now on hypocrisy way once said that fighting Boko Haram was like fighting northern Nigeria |
No be the West hide under Chibok Girls outcry and made Nigerians vote an economic illiterate for a president? Where are Chibok Girls? The West no longer raise the outcry about Chibok girls. Now the president the West helped to give us is busy with vendetta - acting as chief executive and chief of judiciary, locking up his enemies in prison - without any iota of idea that he is supposed to lay hands on what he has on ground and use them to build the economy, then gradually chase looters. |
chiedu7:Buhari has done "eyes right" from his tribesmen in uniform who looted Nigeria dry. He is now engaged in shameless vendetta against his enemies, but deceiving gullible Nigerians that he is fighting corruption. If they ask Buhari to adopt a governance system - fiscal federalism - which can drastically reduce official corruption in Nigeria, Buhari an ethnic president must not accept fiscal federalism, because he knows that his northern Nigeria can not cope in fiscal federalism. |
RockMaxi:Yes, Buhari who witnessed Abacha do all the looting but later said that Abacha was not corrupt. In a normal country, or in a country with educated electorate, Buhari could not have become president with that statement that Abacha was not corrupt. Now Buhari shall receive part of Abacha's loot. Nigeria is an abnormal country - a country of fairy tales. |
Real2020:Nearly all the likes votes for TonyeBarcanister are from SW Nairalanders. Arewa hardly comes up to NL. |
TonyeBarcanista:When are you moving up north to Abuja - like some of your miss-road disgruntled elements have done? They lost their lands to environmental pollution and are moving up north to Abuja for new homeland. With your mindset, you shall remain a slave forever. |
The Boko Haram war is supposed to have ended, because Boko was fighting for a Muslim president for Nigeria. Listen to this video Boko Haram they say is the Taliban of Nigeria. https://www.facebook.com/bob.samuel.3597/videos/436540106541797/ |
See why Nigeria is now a more divided country https://www.facebook.com/bob.samuel.3597/videos/436540106541797/ |
euromilion:Loooooool. Buhari is the only Commonwealth leader that must need an English language interpreter to communicate with the Queen of England. In America, Buhari had to use English language interpreters in his communications with the American officials. |
Queen Elizabeth and Great Britain have more to gain by supporting Biafra independent of Nigeria, than continuing to support dysfunctional one Nigeria. The British are not blind. They are great strategists when it comes to global politics and politricking. |
fiftynaira:Clap for yourself. Take note: no British soldier shall join your ISIS-Boko Haram-infested army of Northern Nigeria to fight Biafra. No Western power shall send any rifle to ISIS-Boko-infested northern Nigeria Army to fight Biafra. Your almajiri have not eaten once a day, talk less fight Biafra. Queen Elizabeth and Great Britain have nothing to gain by insisting on one Nigeria, nothing to gain by slaying Biafra of today. Biafra of today is not the unprepared Biafra of the 1960s. Mugu, Continue to live in the 1960s when Britain gave material and moral support to Nigeria to win Biafra back to one Nigeria. Pray for a referendum to resolve the Biafra issue - not war. |
Biafra shall also be a member of the Commonwealth. Queen Elizabeth knows that. |
kekakuz:They are mugus of the century - I mean any easterners who because of landed properly and businesses they have in Lagos refuse Biafra . |
Loading - Yoruba urchins now starting to make life in Lagos a misery. Pity those easterners who believe they have businesses in Lagos, and because of that refuse to subscribe to Biafra. |
OVI75:For Obasanjo, Nigeria has returned to its owners since Jonathan left That's why Obasanjo has kept quiet since Jonathan and his Ogboid people left Aso Rock. |
Billions of Naira of Imo state were wasted, lost, thrown away on the thousands of projects which Rochas govt embarked upon, most of them abandoned so far. Imo state has never witnessed this type of waste. This is dry season, none of the abandoned road projects is being revisited by Rochas government - all forgotten, or Rochas pretends he no longer knows those abandoned projects still exist. |
Vicboi1:See how Imo people were scammed - full time. In his first term as Imo governor, Rochas started lots of projects, mostly road projects. Four years gone, with most of the projects not completed. When Rochas asked for second term people had to vote him because of fear that if Rochas didn't return for second term, the unfinished projects by Rochas shall rot away. |
Evergreen4:l Lol, nothing shall improve after the governor leaves the school. Schools are shabby in all APC states. They are states understand the contrtol of Nigeria's version of the Janjaweeeeeds. |
President of Nigeria visiting today's Iran - of all countries. Iran is in cold war with the Western powers. What does President Buhari believe Nigeria is? A pro-Mujaheeden country? Fingers crossed. When Western hostility starts to visit Nigeria... |
QuotaSystem:Unfortunately PMB is gradually having his way in making the Nigerian Economy collapse finally. Do you ever read Economic Indices about Nigeria? Point at one thing PMB has achieved since he became president. |
Lol, Pupil Politician. Gov. Rochas Okoorocha does not seem to know that no one stays on the corridors of power for too long - never for ever. And once out of power and the law enforcement agencies put him inside their cell for questioning, those in his home constituency who he has been fighting and punishing their masses since he became governor, those who are supposed to provide him with first respite or bail, he fights them and fights the masses in the areas: Rochas Okorocha continues to fight and inflict heavy punishment on his Orlu/Ideato constituency. Any doubting Thomas can visit Orlu/Ideato to see how Okorocha government reduced the area and its people. |
Nicholas Nwabueze, you are a bastard from no where. People like you are making Alaigbo ugly. |
Cutehector:look yourself in the mirror and ask yourself: is Nigeria working for me? |
dialfa:cramjones and some Yoruba hardly understand that Oduduwa Republic MUST have developed Yorubaland by far more than what is on ground today. They hardly understand that Nigeria is a draw back to development in Oduduwa country. Let Biafra go. Buhari and his north believe that the existing 36 states political structure which Arewa soldiers created is at the benefit of Arewa. The political structure has 20 federating units in once one region northern Nigeria, but only 17 federating units in once two regions south. The structure is at the benefit of Arewa which can produce anybody Arewa likes to preside over Nigeria any time. Arewa is not willing to give an inch as far as restructuring the polity is concerned, because it must use its over-representation in the polity to thwart any attempt at restructuring the fraudulent political structure. Let Biafra go now. |
swaggerdgrt:This is a normal human being talking. The most important thing in belonging to a country is how happy the people in the country are, not how big the country is. There are too many countries in the world today that have population by far less than the Idoma, Tiv, Hausa/Fulani, Igbo, Ijaw, Yoruba, Nupe, Bini, Ogoja, Ogoni, kanuri - name them, the other ethnic groups in Nigeria - and they have no oil. Some of them are even landlocked. But people in them are happy and proud of their country. Peoples in Nigeria's different ethnic groups are not finding happiness in Nigeria, as they are being daily dehumanized, except the politicians. This is due to the inadequacies of one Nigeria, therefore, only a fool shall be clamouring for the continuation of one Nigeria. |
Aufbauh:No Igbo cares that you or other Nigerians hate the Igbo. What the Igbo wants is a country with people in it sharing common value systems. Common value systems is the bedrock to nationhood in a multi-ethnic country. Commonly shared value system hardly exists among Nigeria's major ethnic groups. For example, you as an Idoma man can tolerate far-north's sharia concept as you have your share of large dose of extreme Muslims in your midst. But the former southeast region does not have such extremists. Finally, do not forget that in 1966, your people did worse things than far northerners did to the fleeing people of former southeast region. You did put long poles into the vaginaaaa of fleeing pregnant women until the pole came out in the mouth. These days, you boast on Youtube about how you eat the flesh of Fulani cattle herders. So shut up the wicked mouth for which your lot is known. |
Aufbauh:Aguiyi Ironsi's Unitary government system had 50% for derivation going to areas where mineral resources were derived. Aguiyi Ironsi's system still retained the old north, southwest and southeast regional government systems. But northern Nigeria believing the civil war was won on its behalf sent its military dictators to create a whooping number of 20 federating units in once ONE region north of Nigeria, with accruing large number of legislators and legislative houses in the 20 federating units; but left only 17 federating units in the once TWO southern regions, with the people of the south under-represented in the polity, including in the NASS. Through this political structure, the two regions south are reuced to mere appendages to northern Nigeria in Nigeria. At best the two former southern regions struggle for the crumbs that fall from the tables of politicians from the north of Nigeria. The ignorant ones amomg them often spew hate among themselves in the struggle, and make northern politicians laugh at them. Can you imagine the large state of California or Texas in the US getting divided by soldiers into say, eight states, without dividing other smaller states with equal proportions? If that is done, the US shall be engulfed with crisis as others shall be asking for secession from the US. Nigeria's fraudulent political structure was created using land mass as criterion. Foul. there is nothing the Igbo, Yoruba, Ijaw, etc in the south can do to change it again. Biafra is the answer. Mugu, a group presenting Nigeria's present did not win a trophy. A president is supposed to look after the entire country as his/her constituency, else the country cannot function well. |
pazienza:Fools try to equate the renewed struggle for Biafra to Nnamdi Kanu. It is really insensitive of Nigerians to equate the struggle for Biafra to Nnamdi Kanu., Kanu is just another Biafra man contributing in his own way to realization of Biafra. Only an Igbo who has no eyes to see, and no senses to perceive the cruelty in display by Nigeria's governments against the Igbo would say no to Biafra. |
I will be glad if we keep this discussion civil, because I can actually play in the mud, if you want, so I would advise you stop using words like " Childish". Radio Biafra was not any soothing relief. That Biafrans have no interest in being part of Nigeria is nolonger news as we have a 3year civil war to prove that. Radio Biafra only reminded Ndiigbo why we fought to leave Nigeria, they gave facts and predictions, predictions which played out exactly the way they made it. When it was dawning on most of us that MASSOB had been compromised and lost their purpose, IPOB arose and provided an alternative route, that is proving more effective, and the result is that they are today enjoying the same exact popularity amongst Biafrans that Uwazuruike and MASSOB enjoyed when he( Uwazuruike) came out New with his new methods for Biafran actualization. And if I remember well, Uwazuruike Enjoyed so much popularity from Ndiigbo that he was able to close down Igbo shops all over the country and OBJ saw him as a national threat and jailed him. He came out of that jail a compromised man, and Biafrans sensed his methods were no longer working, so his popularity died a natural death. Nnamdi Kanu is new, and has come with New message for Biafra actualization, so like Uwazuruike, he has attracted popularity amongst Biafrans and followership too, and like Uwazuruike before him, he has attracted the attention of the Nigerian leaders and is now in jail. If he comes out of this jail a compromised man, and Ndiigbo sense his methods are no longer working, he too will lose his popularity and like Uwazuruike before him slip into mediocrity. The Biafran Dream proved bigger than Ojukwu, for it lives even after he had died. It will outlive Uwazuruike, Kanu Nnamdi or any other mortal being. Its an insult to Biafrans to tie our Biafran struggle to the happenings in Nigeria.[/quote |
Aufbauh:They do not sell sense in the market. Nigeria's rigged politica structure is behing the agitation for Biafra. For more than 16 years since return to democracy, the Igbo, Yoruba, Ijaw, Edo, Ogoni etc from the south of Nigeria have begged the north for political restructuring of Nigeria in a democratic way. But north refused and uses its undue large number of representatives drawn from north's undue large number of states to stop all attempts at political restructuring. One northern region of Nigeria at independence was created into 20 federating units, but two southern regions were assigned only 17 federating units. Use of land mass as yardstick to generate new federating units as was done in creating states in Nigeria is a huge fraud. Biafrans wouldn't take that any more. |
Abugab:Mugu. Who in the SE is crying because Jonah is gone? Is Jonah an Igbo man? Was Jonah Nigeria's president before 2007? The struggle for Biafra was on before 2007 - and intense. Nigeria's political structure was rigged by Awusa soldiers. Nigeria cannot stand under the extant political structure. Biafra struggle has been on before Jonathan, and must continue until Biafra is realized. |
The contractors doing this Kanu Sports Centre need to improve their finishing touches. There is a lot of rough work and rough edges - that not withstanding that this is Africa- worse, Nigeria. But what is worth doing is worth doing well. Kudos Nwankwo Kanu. |
