N31 billion Naira by Imo Govermor Okorocha to build Akachi Tower in Owerri - just for people who pass by the tower to remember there was a governor called Rochas Okorocha? When the rest of Imo state are cursing and abusing Okorocha over abandoned road projects that could have taken half of the N31 billion Naira to complete.

That reminds one of that rumoured Donald Trump's take on Africans.....

Renewed agitation for Biafra started under OBJ administration. Radio Biafra was high on during GEJ administration and before election 2015.

Sani knows that the way Fulani soldiers restructured Nigeria is at the root of Nigeria's problems.
Sani knows Fulani-loyal soldiers created 20 federating units in once one region northern Nigeria, but created only 17 federating units in once two regions southern Nigeria. This is the main fraud of Nigeria. No federal country created new federating units using land mass as a criterion like was done in Nigeria by northern soldiers.

Through proliferation of new states in the north, the northern politicians take home more of Nigeria's revenues and command all in the polity.
This is not acceptable to the southern politicians.

Above all, northern Boko created by sharia-mongers has driven away too many southerners from the north.

Senator Sani is a typical tricky Fulani here, as he is only after diverting attention and fooling Nigerians.

Government should encourage a private investor to invest in luxury garden around the tower for weekend grooves and events. Owerri already witnesses high influx of weekenders but with limited sceneries.

....and Abagworo with his governor must be happy to use of N31 billion Naira to construct a tower in Owerri, while in the last four years the roads scrapped by Okorocha contractors in the rest of Imo state remain uncompleted.

Abagworo tell your governor to visit, for example, Orlu, and see by himself the human sufferings owing to scrapped roads.

Old Owerri road scrapped in the last four years - pity the plight of tens of thousands of people living on both sides.

St. Joseph's Catholic Church junction leading to the road scrapped to join the International Market Orlu - a minutes rain floods the whole area. Parishioners often scoop water from the church to hold mass service. These are parishioners that voted Okorocha governor. Okorocha believes he is in a war against Orlu PDP politicians. But the politicians refused to field anther candidate last election against Okorocha.

Morning Star Girls Secondary School Orlu - may even close finally owing to only road to it scrapped;

Only road to IMSUTH, Orlu remains non-pliable since Okorocha became governor. Even students have demonstrated over that.

Abagworo, three months ago you told us here that the new Orlu stadium should be ready by December 2015. December is next month.

This is happening now in Imo State. Reconstruction of all major Secondary schools in this model of one Storey buildings. I can confidently say it is happening for the 1st time in 20years.

Eye service. Reconstructing schools - even mission schools - in Owerri only; the Morning star girls school in Orlu where I taught as a teacher has no road leading to it - three years running.

If there is any Ministry Buhari is needed to assume its headship, it is the Ministry of Defense - given the menace of Boko. But the constitution does not allow Buhari to have any other job except being president of Nigeria.

But if Buhari has common sense, he would not have sounded the idea of being petroleum minister - given that he ousted Jonathan from the Nigerdelta as president and has been tormenting Diezani also from the Nigerdelta. Does Buhari want to show that he is a conqueror of Nigerdelta? Does he not know that people must see him as being very arrogant?

Buhari will simply refuse to appoint a Minister for Petroleum ...... that is not against any law!

He already has a N/Delta man as his NNPC GMD and doubles him as Minister of State for Petroleum.

I suspect the reason some people want this Petroleum Minister by all means is that they are trying to cover-up somethings in that Ministry, which will be impossible without a supervising Minister ... or when that portfolio is on Buhari's table.

when you see evil condemn it. A president seeking to control oil revenues in Nigeria is evil. Nigeria is not Brunei. Nigeria is a democracy but Buhari seems to still take Nigeria as an emirate, with he president as the emir. Obasanjo succeeded in doing that because Nigerians were just emerging from long years of military dictatorship.

“By virtue of Section 138 of the Nigeria Constitution of 1999 as amended, the president shall not during the tenure of his office hold any other executive or paid emolument in any capacity whatsoever.”

It is clear from the above that the Office of Petroleum Minister has emolument to it. So a President cannot go to occupy the office of the petroleum minister.

Especially that Orlu, Rochas sent development in the the town 30 years behind. After dismantling houses and shops on the major roads in Orlu, and traders ran away to other towns, he started scrubbing many of the existing roads in the town, dismantled the roofs and pillars of the town's new stadium and sold them, etc, etc, then abandoned the town to decay.

People are afraid what this man is up to.

I agree with you that majority of the people in the north of Nigeria cannot read English language - but place more premium on Arabic things - 55 years after Nigeria's independence;

but take note: majority of people in the old southeast region can read English, increasingly place more premiums on Western values - 55 years after Nigeria's independence;
so why then must both groups so different from each other remain FORCED together in One Nigeria?

You are not fooling anybody anymore. It's no point suggesting to have Hebrew written on Naira to please the Christians. Jews are not even Christians.

The only good suggestion is to have north of Nigeria whose majority chose Arabic language and sharia criminal laws to have a new country. Let the SW decide what its people want - whether to join north or to have a Yoruba country.

Nigeria can never form a nation. Commonly Shared value systems are the pre -requisites for nationhood. In the case of Nigeria, the value systems of the three major ethnic groups vary a lot. It is easier to have France, Germany, and Spain to form a nation, than to have Yoruba, Hausa/Fulani and Igbo to form a nation. [/b]

Federal govt of Nigeria through Dora Akunyili as Federal Minister of Information and Toni Iredia as NTA Director pumped millions of Dollars into and refurbish NTA to rival other first class TV stations of other developed countries. NTA improved tremendously then.

But shortly after that, women TV newscasters and TV programme presenters killed NTA - as they were dressing like masquerades advertising all sorts of Islamic Hijabs on NTA. If people said no to overt religious display on national TV, they would tell the nay sayers that they were against Islam

That's Nigeria -- while some Nigerian group aspire to fly to the moon as is done in other advancing countries, another Nigerian groups talk of religion - like this ones talking about returning adjami writing to the Naira.

I ask my Yoruba brothers, why do some Yoruba people - especially the Muslim Yorubas - try to intimidate the Igbo against Biafra?

Don't these Yoruba people understand that Yorubaland with all the human and material resources should have developed more than what it is today if not for the drawbacks of one Nigeria?

Finally, don't these Yoruba understand that it's not possible to FORCE three major ethnic groups with little or no commonly shared value systems to form one country

Some Sec. Schools may close next rainy reason in Orlu. Roads that lead to them were scrubbed since 2012 by Rochas govt and abandoned.
