ministeriallist:N400 million compared to $16 billion stolen from the Energy sector alone when OBJ the spiritual leader of APC was in charge. Until Obasanjo tests the humble pie once again, President Buhari's fight against corruption is a selective fight. |
sarutobie:It's a country of dwarves - barely and half-educated population. A population whose youths were told by a particular HoS that the youths are leaders of tomorrow About 30 years after that tale,, those youths voted to make that particular HoS in his 70s to continue to lead them. The rigged political structure of the country diisempowered the youths, it makes old politicians from one section of the country determine who must lead the country. .. At anytime, from Obasanjo to Jonathan and now to Buhari, the worst of leaders are forced upon the youths by the old political class. |
If Nigeria is not a zoo, a person like Obasanjo should not have continued to have the political clout to grossly influence the country's political process. |
tolastikha:Only in Nigeria where the younger generations are denied appropriate education - not empowered by older and dying generations. That's where a person like Obasanjo from the dying off generation can have the sort of powers you gave him. |
nzeobi:Arewa Legislators ensured that Obasanjo's bribe money for 3rd Term never worked; because Arewa wanted power back to Arewa in 2007. And Arewa got the power it wanted back. Arewa-led government shall soon put Obasanjo back to Prison - and no body can do anything about it. Arewa hasn't forgiven Obasanjo for trying to restructure Nigeria Armed Forces to the disadvantage of Arewa. Halliburton bribery that clearly indicted Obasanjo smells tougher every day of the Buhari government. |
TOPCRUISE:Yes o, APC means thuggery, janjaweeeed. APC continues to engineer new gubernatorial elections in very volatile states like the oil producing areas in the south south and southeast? That's APC engineering more deaths from election in the south south and southeast. |
wirinet:You are supposed to be taken under a tree in Sokoto or Kano so that an Almajiri can lecture you on the Politics of Tribalism in Nigeria. Nigeria's politics hinged on tribalism has bent your mind set as it is, such that you remain highly ignorant of what goes on in Nigeria's political process. Nigeria's political process makes you still lament over the fact that people outside the south south own most of the oil wells more than 45 years after oil was discovered in the south south. You still remain one of the big victims of divide-and-rule tactic of northern Nigeria's politicians. Enjoy your status. Meanwhile, Wike remains the governor of Rivers state as elected. |
anwe:Akwa Ibomites can't be foolish to allow boastful Fulani with their ruling party take control of oil-rich Akwa Ibom state. Time for divide-and-rule is gone. |
banio:That has been my fears all along. If a new election was ordered, imagine how many more shall be killed. Wike or Dakuku are Rivers people. Any of them can govern their Rivers state. Why make people die in a renewed Fulani struggle to control the state? |
MaBuk:Nwike has out-foxed Fulani here. By outlawing Biafra protagonists in Rivers state, Fulani must have been satisfied and stopped their leg walk to push Wike out of office to enable them grab the oil rich state through their ruling political party they control. |
OMG, even Chibok today looks like more developed than this Ondo community. My beloved people of the south west do not understand that one Naija is a wedge put against real development in the southeast west. |
wirinet:Lol, delusion of grandeur You must also agree that Niger Delta is owned by Fulani as claimed by a Fulani serving Senator a few days ago. APC is a Fulani- controlled political party, though your deluded mind may not allow you to accept that. With APC in control of oil producing areas, it's easier for Fulani to stop the 13% paid to oil producing areas for derivation. Arewa politicians have been complaining that the 13% payment makes oil producing areas richer than Arewa and other states that do not produce oil. Perhaps your relation is going for governorship in Rivers state, therefore you may finally give Rivers state to Arewa. Think before it is too late. |
LMAORTF!!! Like Rotiimi Amaechi, like Tonye Barca of NL. Two people who refuse liberation of the south south from bondage. |
Abagworo:Orlu is rich but most underdeveloped when compared to other towns of its status in nearby Anambra, Enugu, Akwa Ibom, Delta, etc. There is basically no government infrastructure in Orlu. Even the ones that existed before Okorocha became governor have been diminished or rubbished by Rochas government bad belle against Orlu. In four years, Rochas duslized a few roads in Orlu and disappeared from the town. Too many of the roads are uncompleted and became huge set-backs to the town. |
aresa:You are most consumed by hate. Worst is that you wrote in English language like some one who saw the four walls of a higher institution, but obviously you are a slowpoke as far as the subject matter you pretended to be knowledgeable of is concerned. Sorry for the state and community you come from. You are the most hate-filled contributor here. |
A Y-Nation Deeply Divided by Islamabad..... LMAORTF Unity Since When ? ![]() |
Nigerdelra region is the first area the high speed train should have been first if Nigeria is a normal country. Time is ticking away fast for new colonizers |
The Warri students dem must be Itchekiri. Many of their older generation sign poverty under one Naija forever. You need to see itchekiri young people begging in European cities. Here in Naija, their old people and some younger ones abuse IPOB and other groups who make moves to bring them out of this poverty and suffering.in the midst of plenty in one Nigeria. |
alcmene:And which voter in his/her correct senses will cast a vote for this type of woman? Political sl......t. |
To do an assignment for the Presidency, the Presidency paid N400 million into the accounts of Metuh's company. What Metuh said could be true. Even this Buhari Presidency can ask anybody's to do some assignment for it and the Presidency pays the person through his company. It's not stealing or corruption. If this government had allowed the court to examine these things, instead of locking people up in the guardroom like in a military dictatorship. |
bigiyaro:Any day the east succeeds in leaving your one Nigeria, all your EVIL eyes go begin see clear, your sufferings in what shall be left of Nigeria double that day. Your Nigeria leaders did Every administrative magic to marginalize the east, but easterners survived you, even buy your ancestors graves and build houses on them. You still depend on crude oil money from the east to survive. Now envy about the east is giving you people high blood pressure, any where you hear about east, you want to vomit your EVIL mind there. |
bigiyaro:No Sir/Madame, the right answer should be because there are many foolish easterners who still believe in one Nigeria. Perhaps because those foolish One Nigeria easterners own business or landed property in Lagos or in Abuja. |
Only an idiotic Igbo can write this nonsense article. It's like the type of articles the Peter Claver Okparas, Joe Igbokwes etc who shine the shoes of Yoruba APC leaders in Lagos write. People like these would boast of voting an economic illiterate president for Nigeria, while advancing countries are looking for Harvard, MIT, OXFORD, doctorates as president of their countries. Ewu - goat article writer. Udele - Vulture APC sympathizer. Must every Nigerian belong to APC? It is APC today, tomorrow it may be PDP or another merger of parties. |
Reyginus:Nigeria's youths? Perhaps they are the most abused in the world, denied appropriate education by their elders, denied leadership positions by their elders, guess why a Buhari told Nigeria's youths in 1984 that the youths are the leaders of tomorrow, yet 30 years after that, Nigeria's youths still voted Buhari as their president. |
lookandlaff:Truth is: Common Igbo man is independent, doesn't bend down to greet chiefs, doesn't do follow follow like a common Yoruba, Hausa or Fulani who bow before elders, do follow follow before elders and politicians. |
Who is this ignoramus believing he can move the Igbo mind set with this crappie write-up? I recommend that the writer go and buy land in Maiduguri, Birnin Kebbi or Damatru, build a house settle with family, in order to demonstrate that he/she is a true patriot of Nigeria. Ignorant. Must every Nigerian belong to the same political party? Igbos are proud of how they voted last presidential election - no regrets. |
endtimesblog:It's on record: At the end of every year, MORE YORUBAS were caught in hard drug business worldwide than the Igbo. |
Lol, In Nigeria with Harvard, MIT, etc, doctorate degree holders with vast work experience, Buhari found it good to employ a lady with a mere Bachelors degree with scanty working experience as Nigeria's finance minister. Well, show me your friends and I shall tell you who you are. How educated is Buhari himself? Buhari's is a government of compensating friends, not for making Nigeria better. Listening to this Finance minister articulate her views makes one want to throw up. Last presidential election, ethno/religious bigotry made Nigerians vote to enter into fire. |
If you don't drag the name of Ikemba Ojukwu, EzeIgbogburugburu into your drug discourse, you shall not live to tell your next story. The cappo head of the party leading you today in Nigeria, ABT, swapped drug money for his freedom in the US some years back. Learn to tell your story next time without being foolish. |
oduastates:Jonathan/Iwealla drove Nigeria's economy pass South Africa's as the fastest growing economy in Africa. Western economic intelligence agencies announced it then, the same way Western Economic intelligence agencies now announce to our hearing that Nigeria's economy is not healthy. |
