Politics / Re: Amaechi's Only Sin Is His NGF Victory by looknlaff(m): 4:18am On Jun 07, 2013
LastApostle: Poor attempt by the op.

Odili nominated Amechi as the flag bearer of the people's democratic party to succeed him before federal might truncated it halfway. In fact the ticket was handed to him on a platter of Gold against promising and prominent politicians gunning for the gubernatorial seat that could have taken him to the cleaners was there supposed to be a free and fair primary poll in the state.

Odili made Amechi personal assistant during the third republic when he (Odili) was a deputy governor. The same Odili upturn an election of Rivers assembly for his benefit, the same Odili went ahead to make him the speaker of the state hollow chambers.
What Amaechi has done to this same man, his benefactor is unimaginable.

Wike fought and risk his life to single-handedly installed Amaechi. Wike was the moving train while he (Amaechi) hid himself away in Ghana. I am privy to what happened in the last election and the role Wike played. Amaechi has arrogantly stepped on toes and should retrace back.
Even the much exonerated Amaechi has fought his political opponents in the state to a standstill destabilising their political machinery. Those that contested the governor seat of the state with him are still taking the heat.

This time he miscalculated and took his arrogance far above his realm and I don't think a sitting president would sit and allow a governor ridicule his presidency. It is good for Gov. Amaechi to aspire to a higher elective position but he should do that within the ambience of political decorum. He should stop criticising his fellow party member who is the president on the media but always adopt diplomacy, dialogue and negotiations to get his views across.

Let him wait for electioneering campaign to kick start his political distaste of the presidency and then tell the masses how he intends to remedy the anomalies. No doubt he is a good administrator compared to Jonathan but being overtly arrogant is evasive!

Your apt and lucid recap of the history of Ameachi's political sojourn is incontestable. You wrote like an insider and all you said is the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. My take however is that we should not be fooled about what is going on. It is all posturing towards 2015 and quote me today that before long, GEJ and Amaechi will sheath their swords for political expedient considerations.

Symphony007: governours do not suspend LGA chairmen, state assembly does. Dllard!

Deceive yourself endlessly. Which State House of Assembly can suspend a local govt chairman and the entire council without the consent of the Governor? Be realistic please.
Politics / Re: My Life In Danger, Amaechi Cries Out by looknlaff(m): 12:20pm On May 28, 2013
Dracula27%:

When Ameachi suspended a LGA coucil it was democratic, when PDP suspends him it is undemocratic.
When Ameachi used the police to arrest people for holding meetings in the state it was democratic.
When Ameachi used the police to sieze and destroy opponents property using the land use decree it was democratic.
When the police sealed up an LGA council it is undemocratic.
When Ameachi wins an unprecedented court judgement the judiciary is good when Ameachi losses a case the judiciary is bad.
When Ameachi opposses SOE it is good, When Ameachi/NGF oppose state legislative assembly autonomy it is democratic, when Ameachi/NGF oppose LGAS autonomy it is democratic.

God bless you Dracula 27%. For this incisive analysis, your dracula percentage has been increased to 85%. Nigerians and their hypocritical appreciation of issues will never fail to amaze me. God save this country.

bloggernaija: GEJ and his boys are amateurs.amaechi is playing it up like a professional politician and survivor. He has definitely tied up his safety to Jonathan's fate . Not with the reputation of the creek /bayelsa as a lawless place.
If anything should happen to amaechi or should jonathan try any of those things he tried in bayelsa,he is a goner.

Stop deceiving yourself. If anything happens to Amaechi, the heavens will not fall. Maybe one week of an infinitesimal percentage of Ikwerre youths barricading the roads, burning some used tyres from Ikoku and looting Igbo traders shops as usual. Once the authorities roll out the police (mark it, i didn't say the military) the rascally youths will scamper into their 6 by 4 abode. If you say Nigerians are docile, Rivers State is the epicenter of docility. Wait a minute, is it other states in the country that will pull the down the heavens because of Amaechi?

Methinks Mr Abati and Saharareporters who broke the news are both saying the same thing but with different motives. The bottom line is that at the appointed time that President Jonathan was to make his speech, he was unavailable. Whether it was as a result of hangover of excess apeteshi of the previous night or late strategising on how to upturn Ameachi's victory as stated by Saharareporters or a corner, corner bilateral gist with an unmentioned fellow president is irrelevant.

teeo: There is no substance in Kukahs statement, churchs today are blessed because the bible contains secrets to living a life of affluence here on earth and after life in heaven.
Why is it that people always want to assume that the church is poor. The church and its members are not poor. God keeps blessing his people.
Poverty is a state of life also wealth is another state. Those of us who pay our tithe are blessed and can also be a blessing.
If the money used to buy the jet is not your fathers own then shut up.

Politics / Re: Oil-Wells Crisis About 2015 Election - Amaechi by looknlaff(m): 3:41pm On Nov 06, 2012
Ameachi should please keep quiet and not divert attention from the issue. Even if he habours an ambition of running with whoever come 2015, let it sink into his skull that the ambition shall suffer a still birth like that of his mentor Peter Odili did in 2007. In a state where roads in the capital city are impassable, he had the crude longing to acquire a jet for his private use owing to 'secdurity reasons' as declared by his Commissioner For Inforemation. Go to Iwofe, Elipariwon, Elelenwo and so may other off roads in the city. they are eyesores. If it pleases his fellow cult members, let them cease all the wells. afterall, when the wells were left for him, all he did was to buy jets.
Religion / Re: Tunde Bakare - Pastors Should Not Make Their Wives Pastors by looknlaff(m): 12:13pm On Nov 04, 2012
It is very annoying how Pastors/Bishops have made slaves out of their congregation by making them 'worship' both husbands & wives who go by the name of Pastor/Bishop & Pastor (Mrs) XYZ. You see a man of 55yrs or 60yrs calling a Pastor of 40yrs & his wife of 38yrs daddy & mummy. Is there captivity worse than that? Religion is really an opium that congregants get high on.

Politics / Re: Methodist Prelate-ola Makinde Accuses Bakare Over Protest/rally by looknlaff(m): 12:52pm On Jan 23, 2012
@baba o

You are  a bloody liar. Pastor Bakare did not bring Skoda into Nigeria. As far back as 1991, I worked for a company in Port Harcourt and went to Lagos with my MD then to discuss with the British guys that brought the car to market in Nigeria even though it was a csekoslovakian made car then. We tried to be their distributor in Port Harcourt in particular and the South Eastern states in general but the 8 pieces given to us to test the waters stayed too long with us before we could sell them that the guys were discouraged. Later, Plantgera became their distributor in Port Harcourt obviously because of their bigger capacity to market the cars.
So if you want to malign the only true Man of God in Nigeria, look for something else. BTW, what is wrong if indeed he brought Skoda to Nigeria? Did he defraud the country by so doing? If this country had 2 or 3 Bakares, trust me, there would have been a rethink by the plunderers of our commomwealth.
Business / Re: Have You Purchased Anything From Amazon.com? by looknlaff(m): 6:03pm On Oct 25, 2011
I have and trust me, they are one BIG FRAUD!!

I ordered for some back-to-school items for my son going to the collage on the 17th of July. A family friend in the UK was due back to Nigeria on the 22nd of July so i had to pay for express delivery to his rented apartment so that he could help bring them to Nigeria. I was told when i paid that it was 48 hours guaranteed delivery by 1pm that is, 19th July. I was so glad that the 156 pounds i paid for goods of 402 pounds did not hurt. But that was where the joy ended.

By 22nd July when the family friend was to depart UK, only two items valued 46 pounds of the lot had been delivered. I have written several protest letters to them asking for a refund but they only refunded 80 pounds and stopped. They must be laughing at me wondering why i have been spitting fire and brimestone. I guess they are saying to themselves why the F, k is this N, r shouting? Does he know how many times we delivered goods to his people and they never paid?

Whichever way, they are yahoo, yahoo like my people. Amazon.fraud. That's how we refer to them in my house.

Religion / Re: Tb Joshua's Secret Exposed by Ex-Muslim (Bisola Johnson). Watch Video by looknlaff(m): 12:20pm On Sep 26, 2011
You see one, you've seen em all.

TBJ is not different from almost all the pentecostal pastors or so called 'men of God' we have today. He has been singled out for consisitent criticism because we recall his rustic beginings when he used to serve more of comic relief than taken seriously.

Problem is, nobody gave him a chance to 'explode' the way he has and envy has set in amongst the wolves in sheeps clothing who go by the name, Pators or Men of God .

I want to ask Mr Paul Adams who has been a trenchant critic of TBJ where he worships and i can bet all my earthly possessions that hiis pastor or general overseer is not any different from TBJ. Difference may be he's always done his with pananche.

They should all STFU and continue to deceive their gullible followers and stop bringing down a fellow scammer, who appears to be ahead of them.

Trust me, you see one, you've seen em all.
