allthingsgood: Ur reasoning is naive. You cant monitor illegal mushroom refineries 24/7. Like i said, security agencies cant be everywhere all the time. I believe u read that before responding. I sure say u no know anything about the region. If u do, den u no go call person reasoning naive. Anyway make end so that insults no go follow. |

Business › Re: Fear Over MPC Outcome Fuels Naira Appreciation by loomer: 8:32am On May 18, 2016 |
allthingsgood: On the contrary its very difficult to monitor them, especially when u have gone ahead to make them legal. These illegal refineries are sited inside forest and security agencies cannot be everywhere, all the time!
Apart from the loss of revenue, loss of crude and scarcity of pms ocassioned by them. What about the large scale destruction of the environment? You can hold shell and chevron to account for their waste. But u cant hold a nameless faceless entity. They cannot be sued. They just refine, dump and vamoose Bros, that's why it is legalised na. You put a standard for them to meet. Make sure they don't just refine on one place then leave for another. They will have to pick a spot, where all the activities will be monitored. All they need na upgrade. Bros no make this thing look like one difficult thing cos it's not. |

allthingsgood: Really?? Does that make sense? Why shld they "buy" what they can easily "take" at no cost. On the contrary, thats when bursting of pipeline to siphon fuel will escalate To monitor illegal refineries isn't difficult, cos them no dey under water nor under ground. When you legalise something it's easier to control. Or u think say, if u be licensed operator, u go allow me dey do illegal one without reporting me? Na people for that region know themselves. |
Business › Re: Fear Over MPC Outcome Fuels Naira Appreciation by loomer: 7:56am On May 18, 2016 |
allthingsgood: It will be stolen, refined and sold to foreign market. No payment of tax or returns, infact nigerians wont even get it to buy. So all together, no benefit whatsoevern except to make the theives richer! Why did he say they should legalise them? So that they can be registered and taxed. There will be no need to burst pipelines or steal crude, cos govt will be the one selling to them |

Naughtysite: More than half of the comments were insulting the guy who was just making a desperate effort to eat. His life depended on what he was doing and that was his last resort. Nigerians lack empathy.
Asking why he would be doing a job that he collects only N20 per windshield adorning a suit
Most Nigerian youths are doomed to fail. Headed towards failure. They reason backwards..
If this guy turns to begging, they will still be the ones to first lambast him for choosing roadside begging as a career.
They dont even know that sometimes goods like cement are sold with only N20 margin per bag. The number now determines ur profit Especially those yeye ones wey still dey their papa and mama house dey eat free food. Na them insult the guy pass |
