Just a thought..
You should have given her your number and ask her to call you when she gets the money..
If she like she should call or she should delete the number
You are not running a charity organization.

Some times also our parents are themselves a product of improper upbringing and have their own emotional and situational battles. We should sometimes bear with them and try to understand their short coming.

But she is no longer with us on earth as she went to be with the Lord in 2016. But the training and education she had given me is sustaining me and only God know why he calls her and I still blessed God for everything. She is my idol and role model. kiss kiss

I will teach them about sex, independence and responsibility from early days.
I will sacrifice a lot for them and I will make them know that the sacrifices is because i chose to have them as children and not the other way round. Whatever I do for them shouldn't make them feel indebted to me.
I will teach them about sympathy and empathy and don't fall for emotional blackmail

I went to read the other thread about your brother and i couldn't hold back a huge burst of laughter.
Yes i know its serious but the comments and your lamentations made me laugh..

You should even be happy that a babe choose to be with him...
Let them continue maybe when she gets pregnant he might have no option than to get serious with life.
When life throws responsibilities at you, you will have no option than to be responsible

My friend what you said is not totally true. Northerns are equally migrating. If you go to the gulf, middle east and Oriental nations most of the migrants there from Nigeria are from the north. While southerners move towards the western world, Northerns are migrating to the Muslim nations
Hello, this is not true... Northerners are no majority of Nigerian migrants anywhere

@geebaby10.
You have been given a lot of suggestions, pros and cons for every decision you might take about delivery.

Please ask yourself these questions
How far are you into the pregnancy? Is it a straight forward pregnancy without complications? How pregnant will you be 3 days to the expiry of your medicals. Will you get a doctors clearance to fly then? How pregnant will you be when you are done with your supposed "soft landing" Will airlines be willing to take you on board then.
Dear don't lie so much about your gestation age, the little one in there might not cooperate with you

I am so sure some international airlines wont take you when you are way more than 32Weeks pregnant and most wont take above 36 Weeks that gives you 1-2Months to delivery...(if its not a single carrier airline confirm with all carriers about their pregnancy rules)
Please put this into consideration and give room for eventualities 37 Weeks old baby is term,
And for your husband is the 3 weeks landing before delivery or after delivery

Please can I send the passports to Dubai using dhl or do I have to use Aramex to and fro?

Please dont use DHL. Aramex is fine and i think they are the only ones that does the Canadian embassy courier things.
When your passport is ready they are the ones that the embassy will call to pick it up..
Just follow the instructions and i doubt if there will be any issue
Lagos VI office: 01700800
Dubai +971600544000
+971405031972 (Dubai Back office they will transfer your call as the other number takes forever to answer)

LONG POST ALERT PLS!

Abu Dhabi, UAE

Doubt if you are a middle east resident else you would have known aramex cos its an everyday name.
Option 1: Mail them to change your visa office to Accra
2. Call aramex Nigeria or UAE and schedule for a pickup. You will spend somewhere between 50-70K in total. They send your passport to the embassy and bring it back when its ready.

Good luck

Oh that was so fast: 1. cash was not complete for POF 2. Wife heavily pregnant.
Adding to complete POF while spending as the baby arrived 19/10/2017.(Big struggle)
Did passport a month after birth and did medicals on the 28/12/2017
Finally the money was complete.

AOR 2/1/2018.
Everyone went to sleep cos the hustle was read, actually expected to be at LVO cos we live in Dubai.
5/2/2018 medicals passed... (not too sure of the date)
20/2/2018 its PPR..

Make una no ask me about IP1 IP2 or NA nothing.. Seriously we were pursuing too much hustle to be bothered about where the application was.
its not as easy as its typed. The financial part was a huge one.. Money was not readily available as we thought we had our own pre ITA timeline on our heads..
Thanks for the thread as this is where i got the inspectors number for police certificate he made that very easy.

Good evening mamas. First post alert.

I'm an expectant mom, with about 8weeks to go. I've done majority of my shopping, I'm left with diapers and wipes and co.

So i was doing my research online on diapers and stumbled upon washable diaper clothes, not the old type we used as kids o.

My question now is has anybody here used it? How is it like? Is it really machine friendly? Cos i need it to save diaper cost o. Pls just enlighten me.

Thank you

I got some washable diaper too, its machine friendly and i believe its pocket friendly but now my baby is past 3 months old and i have not used them.... After delivery i couldn't stand extra work, now I just they fear to wash shit. When his bowel movement becomes a bit predictable then i can start using them..

It has really reduced, I've been expressing since yesterday cus of the wound I have on my nipple hoping it will heal soon so I can put him to breast.
The pain from breast feeding is unbearable because of the sore
But now breast milk nor gree come out, just very little quantity came out.
It really breaks my heart cus I know my boy isn't feeding well
Just don't know what to do cry
Increase your pumping today and see more result tomorrow, it goes on and on.... even if you are dry pumping (no milk coming out), keep pumping often.
Also use breast milk as healing balm for the cracked breast.. Allow the milk to dry on the breasts.

Not to worry i know BFing gets easier by the day
Romance / Re: A Girl Intentionaly Got Pregnant For My Boyfriend by lopside12: 12:30pm On Jan 16, 2018
You are the "side chick'
This is the story, a guy is dating his babe and she got pregnant for him, him and his family went to see the girls parents and married her
He wants you to remain as the side chick which you have always been.
Get pregnant for him and you will nurse the child alone, his family will not even make a call through to you he might even block you from reaching him

Girl please move on

Mamas please my baby is a week and 3 days I gave birth through cs my breast milk is not coming out very well and my baby has refused to suck he prefers feeder please help me
Hold on Mama, had same issue but now my son is almost 3 months and i am doing well..
Try as much as possible to get your son to suck, breast milk obeys the law of demand and supply, sucking triggers the hormone for milk production.. (Your baby might be having bottle preference cos its easier to get milk from bottle than your breast)
If you have a breast pump, try to pump often even if its just a few drop that comes out dont give up continue, if you dont, use your clean hands to express milk (at this point postpatrum i only got very little milk), use warm wet towel to massage the breasts often especially before feeds and pumping.
Take loads of water, eat food
Check around for fenugreek capsules (2caps 3 times daily) it worked wonders for me or you can try the seeds if capsule is not readily available..
I am away from my son 8AM-4PM (work) now and i pump and put in the fridge for him. I go through 4 pumping session now and each session is about 250ml even though he sucks when we are together.
BTW the first 900g formula i bought for him is still lying around so even with a rough start i still had success with breastfeeding

Stop blaming her failure on dis divine institution. She failed because she chose the wrong path..

Why did you not say she failed cos she choose the wrong person to walk on the right path with her..

OP if you are not the one that saw the guy, which I doubt because you should have come to give update, in subsequent times try to post the link you copied from and not make it seem like your original post.

Is there anyone that have used fenugreek seed for increase in Breast milk supply?

How efficient was it?
How do one use it?
It was 8 days postpartum and i felt i wasn't producing enough for my LO. I took the seeds, soaked overnight and drank the water.
Didnt see much difference.
Then i bought the capsules 500mg and took 2caps 3 times daily in less than 24 hours i saw a huge difference

Tho depending on the type of thalassemia you're referring to.
Type 4 alpha thalassemia is common tho as compared to others

Hospitals

Did quite a number of studies on haemoglobinopathies and so thalassaemia was not seen as a nigerian issue.
Alpha thalassemia is not an issue to bother about since its rarely of significance medical concern. Seriously thalassaemia should bother Asians just as SS Africans.
