Danielhouston: To add, if you intend to study nursing in Germany and relocate to another country to work, say US or UK, you should know that you may have difficulty settling into the system of the other country. Example is the language barrier in your studies. The medical terms you’ll learn in Germany will be in German language, which you may find difficult in an English speaking country. Also the medical laws are different. You’ll have your license to practice but you’ll need to re-learn many things. Except you want to open your own clinic and do it your way.
This is why German medical practitioners would rather relocate to an EU country like Switzerland to practice, than US. Except for the ones who also studied in US, for example or studied in English at some point.
This is also why it is hard to find an English speaking psychologist or therapist in Germany. Because they studied in German language and would rather work 100% in German even if they speak English. They don’t feel efficient in another language. This affects foreigners who need therapy. Nice advice from an OG...jooor |

tensazangetsu20: Stop calling yourself a junior. Call yourself a front end developer. I just commenced a 4 months Software Engineering course at STUTERN Sha! I'll be learning JavaScript ( MERN STACK ) and my main aim is to either relocate to Europe with my skill or to work for a foreign Company while I stay in Nigeria and earn in foreign currency!!....it's more like a 4yr plan for me cos I still don't know how possible it will be for a Software Engineer ( after I graduate ) who is fresh out of training to get a foreign/relocation job |

SocialJustice: You made a mistake by dating a poor girl, maybe you enjoy how her family worships you. This might sound hard but the truth is you should endeavour to date only girls that are in same income bracket with you. You don't get to see a lot of shit unlike when you're dating a low/no income girl. Don't let her big yansh or breast fool you. There are also high earning big yansh and breast.
The only draw back with educated, high earning girls in most cases is they see themselves as your equal. It's not true...it's 50 50 ....cos even some girls without primary School cert still sees themselves as equals God help us my brother |
Romance › Re: Have You Dated Someone Who Desperately Wanted To Get Married? by lordally(m): 11:37am On Jun 19, 2020 |
Xj2020: Yes. In my own case she deliberately got pregnant for me and I had no choice than to marry her thinking it was right thing to do. See my story below https://www.nairaland.com/5922955/how-cope-ill-mannered-housewife
If you are good you are good, and if you are bad you are bad. You might hide your bad side for a while. However, it is only a matter of time before everything would come out to the open. The Big Brother Show is a perfect example. My story is that of a young chap that fell in love and got married to the women of his supposedly dream with kids. From day one till date, my beloved wife has been anything but a good housewife. She doesn't give me peace of mind. Always looking for ways to provoke me. My wife isn't submissive. She is abusive and unappreciative of all I have done and have been doing for her and the children. This is even though the financial burden of the house has been mine 100% from the beginning to date. This is a woman that does not want to do any kind of work if it is not a government job. I have provided her with everything she asked for and even those things she didn't ask for. This woman has never lacked anything in my house to date My beloved wife insults me in the presence of our kids. Mind you, I don't smoke, drink, and womanize. Neither have I laid my hands on her or intend on laying my hands on her. This is a woman I help with house chores like sweeping, washing the bathroom and toilets, and mobbing the house at my leisure time. This woman has taken sides against in the time past when I had a misunderstanding with some persons outside. This woman isn't scared to insult my parents every time we have a misunderstanding. My mother-in-law isn't helping matter as she has continued to instigate her daughter against me. I have finally decided to move out of the house for the now and see how things play out. If things don't improve, then I would have no choice than to seek divorce. Notwithstanding, the children would continue to be my responsibility. Mature advice would be highly appreciated.
Any matured advice would be highly appreciated from the house.
It would interest the house to know that I am under 40 years old and a PhD. D holder in XXXXX in one of the foremost and most prestigious Federal University in Nigeria where I lectures. I have a First honours in XXXXXX in the same university. I was among the top three best graduating student in my Department and was adjudged best student in WASCE during my secondary school days; Best graduating student in my Department at the OND level before seeking and gaining direct entry admission into a Federal University; Won an award for best student at the 300 level in my Department that year. I was a committed member of Deeper Life despite coming from a Muslim. I still remember how my brother and I used to sneak out the house just for rehearsal that year. I was a member of the youth choir that year and I can still remember playing an active role in evangelizing and teaching search the scripture that year. I still remember going to music class that year and playing an active role in my school fellowship. Everything I am experiencing today is 100% my fault. How could I have fallen in love so blindly and got married to a member of a sect called "Grail Message: In the Light of the truth" without a comprehensive background check. Yes, she got pregnant for me outside wedlock which I take 100% responsibility for but still I shouldn't have allowed her cajoled and pushed me into marrying her talk less of having a court wedding. Do you know that this woman is holding on to the fact that she has children for me and that we did court wedding to do whatever she liked with full support from the mum. Do you know that this woman is very good at reporting everything that happens in my home to her mother? She wants a government job and nothing else. I tried my possible best to get her into my institution without success and she knows this. A woman that has never lack anything since we got married but has never been grateful for once in her life for all I have done to keep the home running. A woman that sees the family problem as solely my problem. I have been a member of Nairaland for years but decided to open this account to keep my identity private. I know for sure that if she happens to stumble on this thread she would definitely put 2+2 together to arrive at the conclusion that I am behind this thread. However, I do not care what she thinks or do anymore. I have already told her yesterday that I am through with her and I mean it. I still believe however that it isn't too late to change the narrative of my life. For all the guys’ out there forming 'I am in love' please and please open your eyes before you take that step to settle down with the woman of your dream as that lady could either make or mar you for life. Good day sir as much as I wanna speak as regards to the almost similar experience my dad has with my step mum I don't think I'm qualified because number one I'm not married and number 2 I'm still young ( 28 ) I guess the best thing is for you to speak with my DAD cos he will advice you based on his experience that's if you don't mind!!! .....and on leaving the house I would not recommend that!!! Cos my dad left the house on 4 occasions ...and he still came back she was even saying " No be today you don dey comot for house ...when you're tired you'll come back " please sir I would advice you speak to my dad....I'm sure you won't regret it...... You can send me a mail and I'll give my dad's contact to you....hmmmm God help me in his thing called marriage |

Julius209: I took my time to read from page one to the end and all I can say is that youths, particularly graduates are going through hell in this country. My own story is a little bit long but I will try as much as possible to summarize it . i was born and brought up by my Grandma in a remote village in Oyo state .My parent parted ways since when i was 2years old owed to the fact that my mum was a muslim while dad was a christian .My dad is a drunkard who doesn't care about children. I Struggled to finished my secondary school at the age of 19 year-old but because of passion i have for academic and the fact that there is no a single graduate in my family I decided to further my education so I took the bold step and left the village unceremoniously for Lagos at least to gather some money before I gain admission since there's no sponsorer .When I got to Lagos I didn't think twice before I started riding okada since i already knew how to ride okada(motorcycle ) right from the village .Somebody may ask me how do you cope with the accommodation in Lagos? (anyway, I was sleeping inside a shop with my fellow okada boys then) thou we paid the shop owner every week as we all know, there is no free things in lagos.fast forward to 2016 I wrote jamb , scored 192 and I was admitted to a state polytechnic in ibadan .I struggled to finish my OND in 2018. did my one-year IT in one insurance company in Lagos last year so during the course of the IT I took another jamb and I was admitted to University of Lagos so now I am 24years old in 100l. It was not an easy journey but I vehemently believe that I am going somewhere in life as someday said I am also a work in progress presently now, I am putting my eyes on programming and graphics designing . Bro you're 24yrs of age and you're young and getting it...the future is bright ...and there's nothing stopping you!!.... It's so amazing how you can sit , chill , relax and look around your family and decide to make a change going against all odds!!! You are brave , bold , reasonable and unique! In a country where we have people who go into drugs all in the excuse say them no get person to advice them here you are doing the opposite!!! You too much baba.....don't relent ooo cos you have no choice than to forge ahead ahead!! Ahead!!!.... I heard you say Programmimg!!! Bro you see why I so love your type!!! You seek for information on how to better yourself life!!! And I'm so proud of you!!! Bro make sure you go into Programmimg with all your heart...guy you go chop money tire!!! And if it's Graphics you wanna go into I did advice you choose UI/UX DESIGN..... Bro I'm 28yrs of age just finished NYSC last year and I ain't looking back!! I studied Computer Engineering( mad a 2:2 ) in school but you know the educational sector is I just enrolled into A Software Engineering Program( JavaScript to be a full stack Engineer) at STUTERN....after the training which would last for4 to 6 months ... I Know I would be able to get a junior Developer role at least for a start of maybe 150 to 180K....THE beauty isn't the beginning the joy is in the progress cos tye more time goes the more your worth increases ...and in 4yrs you are being seen as a senior level Software Engineering or Developer OR Senior UI/UX Designer/Product Designer....that time na like 400K you go dey collect....cos with just 2yrs experience your pay should be like 200K that's in a tech startup but if it's a big organization baba e will be more....Baba you go begin apply for foreign jobs and they would sponsor you over to come abroad!!! Or if you like you can stay here and work for foreign companies and earn Forex!!! People go think say you dey do blood money which is the truth cos IT is the new blood money!! Don't relent bro!!! Everything is working fine for you BABA!!! TUALEEEEEE!!!!! |

Akiliogidi: Thanks for ur detailed explanation. Since there's job in the waiting(which is my main target), i might consider ur option, that's the most realistic for me . Yeah bro!! Cos with the way Nigeria is currently and with the way it will be...it takes does with in demand skills to stay relevant...just looks at the way people lost their jobs but those in the CORE IT sector where not affected!!! ....but I have to also tell you after the course you wouldn't just fold your hand and wait for STUTERN to get you a job oooo you can also send out applications by yourself cos so many IT job vacancies are out everyday on the internet here in Nigeria ....so in as much as STUTERN would link you up with jobs you still have to send out your won CV....it's a venture I know I won't regret |

BelieverDE: Are you sure an individual would be able to learn these in four months? Ah ah B4 nko! Well some schools teach it for 12 months ( Semicolon ) some for 6 months ( Decagon ) I also know Code360 is for 4 months too.....well STUTERN is cool cos I've seen how their 1st set of students are now working in respectable firms.....and STUTERN is the cheapest in all of them now see Semicolon charges 1.3M or so as tuition fees for 12 months or so but if you cannot afford the tuition fees you can be trained then when you get a job the total amount you will pay monthly from your job everything is sums up to 2.3 million naira Decagon charges 2Milliin naira for tuiuon fees but if he cannot afford the fees you have to apply then if they find you interesting they will invite you to their boot camp which last for I think either one week or two weeks.... Getting into their boot camp doesn't guarantee that you will make it into their training but if you make it into their training after the boot camp you will be trained for six months in the course of the six months training you will be given a brand new laptop a free accommodation for six months with constant light and a stipend of 40000 Naira per month for 6 months then after the training when you get a job what you will be paying to decagon in three years is the total of 3 million naira Code360 this one seems to be sheep their tuition fees 350000 naira for 4 months but if you cannot afford the fees and you get into the training once you get a job after the training the total amount of money you will be paying back is 1 million naira At STUTERN in which I'm currently enrolled in their tuition fees 430000 naira but if you cannot pay the fees at once you have three options see the training is for 4 months the second option is to either pay #110000 per month for the next four months while the third option of which I am making use of is that you once you get admitted into the program you pay an enrollment fee of 73520... Then once you get a job he will be paying 15% of your salary for 24 months you can see it very affordable that's why I chose them |

Money isn't everything but it's something Sha ....any field you choose to go into requires a thorough research cos it will likely be a career for you....and by the way all the fields I mentioned there are all lucrative weda you are in 9ja or abroad.... IT is so sweet in the sense that for instance in Software even if you travel out of 9ja you don't need to write any qualification exam he will just be employed and start working instantly..... that's the beauty ...and by the way I just started the training this month Sha!!! And I must confess it's been interesting and challenging |

Danielhouston: Seems like a great plan. Take your time and go for it. Germany is always open whenever you’re ready. With the recent protests against racism, things are definitely shifting in the right direction and things will get better in Germany. That includes visa regulations for black countries. A lot of these laws they have, are a product of systemic racism and we’re trying to fight it.
Germany had the largest crowd in the world for the #Blacklivesmatter protest, after the US. Lots of discussions are being held in the senate to combat discrimination and systemic racism. I can tell you that from next year, things will get better for those who plan on coming to Germany. In our recent meeting, I brought up the fact that Africans have to pay 3 million in a blocked account before they’re allowed to study in Germany, but international students from white populated countries are exempt. We will keep fighting the system.
Also try to learn German language, while you’re in Nigeria. Even if it’s just level A1. It would definitely give you a better chance of visa/permit when you want to settle in Germany, through whatever means you decide. Just get the certificate. It does not expire and you won’t lose anything. Good luck my friend. Thanks so much Bro!! God bless!! Once in a while I'll hit you up .ame my Germany Dream dey alive jareeee!!! Lols |

It’s unfortunate some men were hurt by bad women and now they frown upon women concerning money. Women just want to be provided for, loved, even if you have enough it doesn’t mean it’s time to have side chics.
A large percentage of men too if you pick them up and support them to become what you want them to be. They will leave you for an upgrade or start having side chics. At least if you meet him there you already know his personality as it pertains to money.
I pray God may help us dear. All I want out of life is just to meet a man who not only loves God but fears God. A man who loves me not as I am but as a child of a God. Love is simple but we humans complicate things . When you sow into a woman assure her, provide and strive to you will have a happy home.
