I just saw this extreme level of foolishness you exhibited. In all I said, what is illegal? You said I could not think of how to make money legally? You are a beast. Is selling cars illegal?

Did you not read that I did business? Is it not the business of marketing cars that brought me here? My own business. I didn't even start with N30k. I started with zero naira. You are full of hate. It is a sign of the frustration you are experiencing. You are on your own.
Baba no mind the guy!!! some people no fit just read common English!!!!

Boarding started about few minutes after 7am. Thanks to Nigerian passport and British policies nah. I was scrutinized at the boarding gate because I only presented my Nigerian passport without a valid schengen visa on it. But when I presented my Residence card, I was allowed to pass through.

It is worthy of note that, British Airways doesn't allow passengers without a transit visa or visa from other EU countries or countries that doesn't require a visa to Vist UK to transit through their airport.

And btw, I wasn't stamped out of Germany because I have a residence permit.

After the final security check at the boarding gate, a bus transported us to the aircraft. We finished boarding in no time. Low and behold, it was indeed a full flight. I located my window seat (I often pick the window seat), buckled my seat belt and waited for take off.

The first pilot (Apprentice pilot grin) made the usual welcome announcements, ETA, weather conditions and the likes. I was so happy, why? Finally, I am flying with an airline that speaks English without having to translate.

It was time for takeoff and the plane refused to gbe body. I wasn't worried at first because Frankfurt to London Heathrow Airport is just 1 hour and few minutes, plus I had an hour few minutes stop in LHR and I don't have to change terminals.

The pilot made an announcement that they are waiting for approval from the control tower and that's the reason for delay. About 10 minutes later, he made another announcement that everything is clear and we would be taxing to the takeoff point. Only for the plane to move backward and return to its original position. The pilot announced again that there's something wrong with the aircraft and he needs to check it in.

After 10 minutes again, he announced that he's sorry but the issue had been fixed overnight and he was just being overprotective(I can't really remember his exact words). He waited for another 5 minutes again before making another attempt to taxi again that yet failed.

At that moment, I started freaking out because we were like 40 minutes behind schedule and my flight from LHR - LOS leaves once a day.

In short we battled with technical issues for 2 hours and turns out that nothing was wrong with the aircraft. It was just the pilots that were either overprotective or misinformed. We had to refuel again we finally took off when we were supposed to land.
Omo nawa ooo...if na me ehn!!! omo better shit go hold me ooo...cos nobody won die for plan crash na

You see, that's why I don't like to advice people on this forum.

I have lived across five different European countries, (including Germany, France and Italy) and when you try to give others the reality on ground, those who have never seen an airport will be the one urging them on and saying one is a hater. And I don't like to say much. One even said it's because didnt work for me while another said I should mind my own business which I have rightly done.

And no Mr Op. I was in an Erasmus mundus Program but I don't remember saying I got an Erasmus scholarship.

gabi101 I hail o.

Bon chance.

Of course bro... you won't regret making this decision.....ICT is a life changer bro!!! ..if you're in Lagos you can check Alabian technologies..... their prices are cheaper sha
TravelRe: Please How Did you Raised Money To Travel Out? by lordally(m):
I'm also a Fellow Corper like you too bro!!! and I have a little advice sha!!! You have to start from somewhere since you've got no sponsor you can use your saved up money to get a laptop and go into software development , UI/UX design ...just anything programming at least learning it would take at least 6 months ....and with that you could get a good job here in Nigeria with at least a pay of 100k upwards ...then as you get better you apply for foreign jobs of which if you are good enough they would sponsor your flight , Visa fees etc.......

RomanceRe: Why You Should Never Underrate Someone You Meet For The First Time by lordally(m): 11:43pm On Feb 28, 2019
ruggedtimi:
In 2014 i boarded airk flight from lagos to ph, the flight delayed for 30mins before takeoff. I sat beside a young man dressed casually. Then i was using samsung note3, the man saw my phone and brought out his samsung s5 to show me weather forecast, telling me the reason why the flght was been delayed. The guy asked me where am coming from, i was coming from ghana then, so i told him and i was feeling fly.
So he strted discussing about his trip from china to taiwan and how cheap it was compared to flight from ghana to nigeria. He actually travelled from new york to china before taiwan just for a frnd’s wedding.
All this while in my mind i was like see this 419 man oh!!( cos i don fall for 419 people tire so i was been carefull). I briefly told him about myself, told him my state( bayelsa) and he was like “i am heading to bayelsa once i arrive ph to have a meeting with your state governor.” Told me he works for NDDC
When we finally touched down ph While the flight was on the runway he pointed to a private jet parked at the airport and he was like his frnd owns it and the frnd offered the jet to pick him up at lagos airport but he turned it down. Omo all this while everything this man said i didnt take it serious, I kept singing in my mind “419”.
When the plane stopped he made a call( the normal we just touched down call). He wanted to give me his card and i ignored. Coming down from the flight just at the edge of the air-stair two well kitted mobile policemen carried his bag and escorted him to the v.i.p terminal. My eye clear
Lord please Favour me!!!

It requires a lot of reading/ updating yourself. You can be employable after having a year of training. If you like puzzles n logic, then good. Else you will find it frustrating.
Thanks baba...I intend going for the training in Lagos once I'm done serving...
