Super1Star: There are 3 categories of people that I have noticed do not support Buhari's fight against corruption
1. PDP -. For obvious reasons, being a party that institutionalised lootocracy in Nigeria. Govt of the looters by he looters and fo the looters.
2. IPODs -- they we say anything to rubbish Buhari just because they failed in their attempt to perpetuate the Mandela of Otuoke in power and they lost out in the electoral power play big time.
3. Beneficiaries of the ATM - there were several institutionalised ATM a suddenly the ATMs at no more flowing like they used to. It is only normal for the beneficiaries of those ATMs to go after the person that shut down the ATM, as a well expected reaction.
Mr. President, you have the support of the patriotic Nigerians that want a better tomorrow for their children. You are upholding the rule of law by out smarting the corrupt judges that can sentence a poor Nigerian that stole Nokia 3310 to 10years imprisonment within option of fine, lines can grant a looter that killed million of Nigerians with his action bail for him to treat malaria in Europe. You have also made the court room level for all, no matter how high and powerful you can be.
God will let continue to protest PMB for the patriotic Nigerians. I'm afraid Buhari will order his barbaric army to shoot unarmed God. |

Pavore9: In as much as l do agree with your submissions we still cannot exculpate the judiciary. The three arms of government really need to work together in seeing to the strengthening of the system. Not at all, and that's why we should have a judicial reform. |

Pavore9: Hoping we have the judges who will be doing that because a lot of corrupt persons have in the past have gone scot-free! It's not the fault of the judges that people went scot-free. It's the fault of the executive for failing to press more charges with clear evidences against an accused person.
It's good now we have an executive willing to see that corrupt officials are prosecuted, but their desperation should not push them into ignoring court rulings. If the executive thinks that the judiciary is corrupt, it can halt all cases and with the help of the legislature reform the judiciary rather than unlawfully meddling with judicial responsibilities. |

Brother I wouldn't know where that breakdown you talk about came from. Amaechi's position on phc -aba railway is that Jonathan did well with the rail. He added that they will improve on the gauges later in this administration. Alright, never minding some mischievous APC elements on Nairaland. |

Sincere9gerian: Anything that is worth doing is worth doing well. This is especially true for deep rooted and longstanding societal problems like corruption. The current witch hunting called fight against corruption will lead us to nowhere.
To truly fight corruption at all levels, we a need to deploy strategies that are holistic, systematic, unbiased and sustainable. Rather than hand picking who to unlawfully detain. No more, no less. |
Politics › Re: Who Funded Apc's Presidential Election?:Nigerians Should Learn To Ask Questions by Lordave: 8:15am On Jan 02, 2016 |
lordizak: Yes, it invalidates any logic in that question. Someone had contested for a post 3 times before, the 4th time because he emerged victorious u want to know who funded his election. That is delusional, because u have a conclusion in at heart, maybe that should just serve u. If the previous administration finds nothing to probe about OBJ, That means PMB is also correct about OBJ. You see, there is a difference between wanting to fight and knowing how to win. APC knows how win. Enough of ur juvenile attempt to paint Buhari black. It invalidates the logic only to those who are emotional about his victory in the polls. Emotions won't let you differentiate between common sense and nonsense. He's now an elected president and accountability is his watchword and also APC, so what is wrong in wanting to know who and who funded his successful campaigns considering that fingers are being pointed at some members of his cabinet? You can't because you are in power deem yourself right to dismiss every accusations with some silly points.
If he likes he should clear the issue sensibly or he can let it sleep, but surely, another government will awaken it. You can continue your elderly backing of Buhari to doom.
NB the question is how did the APC fund his election not how did he fund his election campaigns. |
Politics › Re: Elders Fault Wike On Road, Bridge by Lordave: 7:46am On Jan 02, 2016 |
ogmaskman: Jonathan. Even Amaechi said he was surprised at the level of work. Are you sure?
But APC warriors were here telling us how Buhari completed Jonathan's abandoned project. They even broke down the cost of completion of the rail project under Buhari. |
Politics › Re: Who Funded Apc's Presidential Election?:Nigerians Should Learn To Ask Questions by Lordave: 7:42am On Jan 02, 2016 |
lordizak: That Question is not reasonable, given the fact that PMB had contested for the post many times. All this wailing is a decoy, PDP has been defeated, APC came with a better package, I know of many others like myself, we're convinced and we love the ideology that this Group can bring about the change we seek. 7 months is not enough to make me doubt CHANGE. PDP had 16years. I voted PDP before the birth of APC. Why did I and so many others defer?. About APC failing to keep to their manifesto. APC is not a quick fix, they came on board to meet an almost empty treasury, a general fall in the price of crude, security challenges to mention a few. How can u start a government by doling out 5k to the "poor" without a proper scheme of knowing the poor?, slow and steady wins the race. Maybe I should remain Change is here, the word normal doesn't apply anymore, Pls accept change. I can still vote PDP if they come out with a better package. How can you say the question is not reasonable and go on to tell stories not relating to the topic?
If Buhari contested 3 three times before he won at the fourth attempt, does it sensibly invalidate the the sense, reason or logic in this question? Ok, because Obasanjo has ruled and embezzled twice Buhari canno not probe him? Because Buhari is ruling for the second time, the next government should not probe him?
If you don't have the answer to the question you say so and stop beating about the bush telling us how you voted NCNC before decamping to NPC. |

alberson: ELDERS of Woji in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital, yesterday criticised Governor Nyesom Wike for claiming credit of the Abuluoma-Woji Road and bridge in the state capital. The community leaders – Chiefs Joseph Eke, Lawrence Chuku, Ade Ogbonda, Samson Amadi-Odum, Chike Ogbonda and seven others – insisted that contracts for the road and bridge were awarded by the former administration of Rotimi Amaechi, and was 90 per cent completed. The Woji leaders said the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Dakuku Peterside and Director-General of Greater Together Campaign Organisation, Chief Victor Giadom, who were commissioners for Works, supervised the projects but were not acknowledged by Wike. The governor, at Wednesday’s inauguration, claimed that the 1.672-kilometre road was inherited at the earthwork and filling stage, before his administration completed it with sidewalls, median, toll point and a 275-metre bridge. Wike said there would no longer be abandoned projects in Rivers, adding that no council would be neglected. Works Commissioner Kelvin Wachukwu said the former administration initially awarded the contract for N3.5 billion, but revised it to N13.6 billion in 2014. But the Woji leaders said: “The people of Woji will forever remain grateful to Rotimi Amaechi, the minister of Transportation, for initiating and building the Woji-Akpajo Road up to 90 per cent completion.
