Sexyrosey: The Loneliness No One Talks About
It’s a different kind of pain to feel lonely while lying next to someone who is supposed to love you. To be married, yet feel emotionally single. To wake up every day craving affection, attention, and connection… and still go to bed empty.
People think loneliness only comes from being alone. But sometimes it comes from being with someone who no longer sees you, hears you, or desires you.
I miss being wanted. I miss being touched with intention, spoken to with softness, loved with effort. I miss feeling like I matter.
I’m tired of pretending I’m okay. Tired of acting strong when inside I feel invisible. Tired of pouring love into a space that feels cold and silent.
This is not about perfection. It’s about presence. About romance. About feeling chosen, not just tolerated.
The hardest part is knowing that I’m still capable of love, passion, and deep connection — but I’m living in a place where none of it is returned.
And that kind of loneliness… hurts more than being alone ever could. Have you spoken to him or are you one of those who expect their partner to read their minds? |
Christianity Etc › Re: Test For Delusion by LordReed(m): 8:44am On Jan 24 |
Boomark: ⛈️ TEST FOR DELUSION
⚖️ Carefully examine these scriptures and test yourself. You will also see they don't teach the most important commandment how it is written.
🗡️ II Thessalonians 2:10-12 NKJV [10] and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. [11] And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, [12] that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
🗡️ John 8:40 NKJV [40] But now you seek to kill Me, a Man who has told you the truth which I heard from God. Abraham did not do this.
⚖️ We are going to test ourselves to know if we believe the truth from God's word. Have it at the back of your mind that the reason for the delusion is refusal to accept the truth that came from God . The truth Christ heard from God and told us.
TEST 1
The Father is the God of our Lord Jesus Christ.
🗡️ John 20:17 KJV [17] Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.
🗡️ Ephesians 1:17 NIrV [17] I pray to the God of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is the glorious Father. I keep asking him to give you the wisdom and understanding that come from the Holy Spirit. I want you to know God better.
🗡️ Revelation 1:6 NKJV [6] and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen
🗡️ Revelation 3:12 NIrV [12] Here is what I will do for anyone who has victory over sin. I will make that person a pillar in the temple of my God. They will never leave it again. I will write the name of my God on them. I will write the name of the city of my God on them. This is the new Jerusalem, which is coming down out of heaven from my God. I will also write my new name on them.
Question 1
Do you believe Christ and his word that he has a God, that the Father is his God?
⚖️ If you see yourself finding it difficult or refusing to accept that the Father is the God of Jesus Christ or think in your heart that Jesus doesn't know what he is saying, especially in Revelation, that he is equal to the Father, then it is delusion.
Turning away from the teachings of Jesus Christ means you don't have God and Christ (2 John 1:9, very important).
TEST 2
Jesus Christ alone is called the word of God.
🗡️ John 1:14 LSB [14] And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.*
🗡️Revelation 19:13 KJV [13] And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.
🗡️ Revelation 22:18 NIrV [18] I am warning everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book. Suppose someone adds anything to them. Then God will add to that person the plagues told about in this book.
Question 2
Do believe that Jesus Christ alone is fit to be called the word of God, without adding that the bible also is called the word of God?
⚖️ If you see yourself refusing to stick to what God himself say is called the word of God. By *adding* that the bible is also called the word of God, against the warning in Revelation 22:18, you are disobedient and deluded. You added something that does not exist anywhere in the scripture. Giving to a book the glory that God gave to Christ alone (a book is what it was called in Revelation 22:18-19). The scripture says, do not add to anything that is written in that book be it inside or outside the book.
TEST 3
Yahweh, God the Father is the one God of Israel (Jacob) and one God over us all.
🗡️Acts 3:13 NKJV [13] The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God of our fathers, glorified His Servant Jesus, whom you delivered up and denied in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let him go.
🔥 The most important commandment.🔥 🗡️ Deuteronomy 6:4 LSB [4] “Hear, O Israel! Yahweh is our God, Yahweh is one! [5] You shall love Yahweh your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might.
🗡️Mark 12:29-30, 32 NIrV [29] Jesus answered, “Here is the most important one. Moses said, ‘Israel, listen to me. The Lord is our God. The Lord is one. [30] Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul. Love him with all your mind and with all your strength.’ (Deuteronomy 6:4,5)[32] “You have spoken well, teacher,” the man replied. “You are right in saying that God is one. There is no other God but him.
🗡️ 1 Corinthians 8:4-6 NIrV [4] ....We know that “there is only one God.” [5] There may be so-called gods either in heaven or on earth. In fact, there are many “gods” and many “lords.” [6] But for us there is only one God. He is the Father. All things came from him, and we live for him. And there is only one Lord. He is Jesus Christ. All things came because of him, and we live because of him.
🗡️ John 17:3 NIrV [3] And what is eternal life? It is knowing you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.
Question 3
Do you believe that we have only one God and he is God the Father (The only true God)?
Do you believe that whoever is the God of Jesus Christ is one God over all?
⚖️ If you see yourself refusing to acknowledge that there is one God, and that he is Father. Saying that there are three persons/personalities in one God (Trinity), then it is delusion. Delusion is when you have refused to believe the truth Christ told us but have chosen something that does not exist in the scripture. You reject the most important commandment God gave.
Antichrist means opposition to Christ (his teachings).
It is only the cunning serpent that will tell people to say the opposite of the truth God gave to Christ. Test yourself.
You can ask me any question from the scripture and I will answer all.
Boomark Of God Any test for delusion that doesn't start with what is factual reality is a useless test, like this one. |

Explore2xmore: Are you erasing the lines between political affiliations and matters of faith? Being Muslim signifies someone who surrenders to God a concept that transcends time, it's not just a label from the 7th century. The Hebrew Bible is quite clear about its monotheistic nature. Terms can be used to describe things that happened earlier. Think of how we use philosopher or the concept of gravity. Actually, Islam identifies Abraham as a muslim in the Qur'an (3:67). The reality is there first, then come the labels we use to describe it. The fact is you won't accept this conceptual thingy you are clinging to for any other argument that opposes your view. The was what even launched this discussion and you pressed for evidence then rejected even that. The fact is you are caught in a hypocritical and fallacious position which you don't want to give up. |
Islam › Re: Was Aisha (RA) Born Before Islam? Meaning she got married at 19 by LordReed(m): 10:50pm On Jan 23 |
Explore2xmore: Your analogy is flawed. The term Nigerian refers to a modern political identity that emerged from the state formation in 1914. In contrast, Muslim in Islamic theology is a descriptive term for anyone who submits to God, which is applicable throughout history and not limited to the existence of 7th-century Arabia. Islam asserts that Abraham was a submitter to God,muslim, indicating that the concept existed even if the Arabic term did not. Similarly, Christians refer to Abraham as faithful in the context of the Hebrew Bible, while Jews describe him as righteous before the Torah was given.
Your reasoning would also undermine the validity of calling ancient Israelites "monotheists a term that was coined much later or referring to Socrates as a philosopher a Greek term that was formalized after his time. The key issue is not when the term was created, but whether the reality it represents existed. You are mixing up linguistic history with conceptual reality. If you disagree with the idea that Abraham submitted to God, then make that argument directly instead of relying on fallacies about word origins. The analogy holds up very well because it is factual reality that no Nigerians existed before 1914 same way factual reality is no Muslims existed before 571 CE. The ancient Hebrews were not monotheists so that isn't even a point. The word philosopher - lover of wisdom, was contemporary with Socrates and the other Greek philosophers so that also fails. The key issue is you and wherever you got the idea are involved in a fallacious claim. You have to equivocate the meaning of Muslim to stretch its identity to cover people who cannot be considered Muslim as an identifier even by the standards of your Quran. |

Explore2xmore: Islam encourages that evidence for historical claims are sought out rather than accepting them blindly. Historical records indicate that pre-Islamic Arabia had monotheists known as Hanifs, who rejected idol worship and traced their beliefs back to Abraham. This is supported by external evidence. Islam interprets this historical context by asserting that Abraham's way of worship was a form of submission, which it later identifies as Muslim an Arabic word meaning submission to Allah. Multiple historical inscriptions and sources show monotheistic belief existed in Arabia in the 5th–6th centuries, and classical Muslim historians recorded hanifs as individuals who rejected paganism in favor of Abrahamic monotheism.
While one can disagree with this theological perspective, it is not an arbitrary invention; it is based on a documented tradition of monotheism in Arabia that Islam presents organized and defined. It is reasonable to reject the theological interpretation, but you are unable to provide evidence contrary to what is shared or in support of your stance. You keep going in circles. IT DOESN'T matter whether it is a theological perspective or otherwise it is still fallacious. You are like someone calling people who were born in the Niger delta area before 1914 Nigerians because the word Nigerian means anyone born in the territory called Nigeria. It is fallacious to apply that definition to people before 1914 when the territory called Nigeria was actually formed. If after this example you still struggle with this then you need to go back and examine how you think. |

Explore2xmore: Persistently mixing up historical terms with religious identity. In Islam, the term Muslim is rooted in Abraham, not Muhammad, as stated in the Qur'an; He named you Muslims before and in this [revelation](Qur’an 22:78). This is a theological assertion rather than a reflection of how people identified themselves in 200 BCE or 500 CE. Historically, Arab monotheists before Islam were referred to as Hanifs;individuals who turned away from idol worship and embraced Abraham's belief in one God without following a formal law. Theologically, Islam teaches that Abraham's submission (islam) is what defines the concept, and the term Muslim is introduced through later revelations.
So, the distinction is clear and consistent. Historically, there was no confessional label Muslim before 571; identities were based on tribal, Jewish, Christian, or Hanif affiliations. Theologically, it is believed that Abraham referred to those who submit to God as Muslims Disagreeing with this theological perspective does not indicate inconsistency; it simply shows a rejection of the religious claim, not a logical flaw in the claim itself. That it is the Quran stating it doesn't make it any less a fallacious claim. So at this point it is clear you are just going around in circles. The inconsistency stems from you rejecting one claim because you believe it lacks evidence ut believing a different claim despite the lack of evidence. Like I said you are just going round in circles and are bringing nothing further to the conversation. |
Islam › Re: Was Aisha (RA) Born Before Islam? Meaning she got married at 19 by LordReed(m): 1:16pm On Jan 19 |
Explore2xmore: Referring to Abraham and earlier prophets as Muslims is not a mistake in historical terms, but rather a theological perspective. The Qur'an clearly indicates that Abraham was neither a Jew nor a Christian, but someone who submitted to God (3:67), and that he prayed to be made a Muslim (2:128). This is based on the foundational texts of Islam, not a contradiction. While it's acceptable to disagree with Islam's interpretation, it is incorrect to assert that there is no supporting evidence. Archaeology backs Islam in the same manner it does for Judaism and Christianity, relying on texts and historical records rather than theological arguments. Early manuscripts of the Qur'an, inscriptions, coins, and accounts from non-Muslim sources all validate the origins and claims of Islam in the 7th century. Additionally, ancient evidence shows that prophets adhered to the belief in one God. The Dead Sea Scrolls contain monotheistic writings from Moses and Isaiah, inscriptions reference the worship of YHWH, and Assyrian records differentiate Israel's God from pagan deities. None of this is evidence for the claim, you are simply restating the claim. What you cannot do is show ANY evidence before 571 CE that anybody was ever referred to as a Muslim. Fallaciously claiming that a broad definition retroactively and with no further supporting evidence refers to people of a completely different belief system just fails. Further more you rejected my claim based on what you decided was a lack of evidence but go on to accept this fallacious claim even with the same lack of evidence thus contradicting yourself. If a lack of evidence causes you to reject a claim then the same lack of evidence should make you reject any other claim. Accepting a claim even where it clearly lacks evidence makes you inconsistent with your own metric. |

Explore2xmore: That is from my statement. You were pointing at evidence you had earlier given? Abraham are considered Muslims. Even though there are few tangible remnants, archaeology demonstrates the existence of belief in Abraham's and other prophetic communities' theistic practices.
Ur of the Chaldeans where Abraham was born show signs of worship and Cuneiform tablets provide texts for concepts of religious belief. My general statement was more for other prophets without much recognised archaeological artefacts. "Considered Muslim" is the claim but you have no evidence backing that up so your assertion is rejected. You laid that standard so accept your forfeit. |

He is gay because, in classical psychiatry, his desire fixed early and fixed off course, shaped by unconscious forces that set his attraction where it should not have settled. It feels natural and complete because the mind stabilizes whatever it becomes, but stability is not health.
Nature allows such deviations to arise without permission, and history repeats them, not as ideals, but as errors that persist. Those who don't learn from history repeat the same mistakes of the past.
He arrives finished in feeling, before any question is asked, yet by psychiatric measure he arrives misaligned with normal development. Eventually, they will find out the truth in the lies they live in. Meanwhile, happy medication.

kaybeejnr: Please share your thoughts and lets learn from one another. What are your own reasons? What are the things that turn you off about Islam? Lets share and educate one another in a matured way please. Thank you.
Accepting Islam is not about abandoning reason, culture, or dignity. It is about aligning yourself with clarity, purpose, and truth.
First, Islam offers the clearest concept of God; One God. Absolute, eternal, unique, and independent. Not part human, not born, not dying, not divided. This simplicity is not a weakness; it is a strength. It resolves centuries of theological confusion by affirming that the Creator is distinct from creation, beyond human limitations, yet close enough to hear every sincere prayer. This idea resonates naturally with the human mind and conscience.
Second, Islam respects human intelligence. It does not ask you to suspend reason to believe. The Qur’an repeatedly challenges people to think, reflect, question, and observe the world. It appeals to logic, history, and morality. Blind faith is never praised; thoughtful conviction is. Islam acknowledges doubt as a stage, not a sin, and invites inquiry rather than fear of questions.
Third, Islam provides a complete moral framework that is practical, balanced, and realistic. It recognizes human weakness without glorifying it, and human discipline without crushing the soul. Justice, mercy, accountability, compassion, self-control, charity, and humility are not abstract ideals, they are daily practices. Islam does not reduce morality to personal opinion or social trends; it grounds ethics in divine wisdom, stable across time and cultures.
Fourth, Islam gives life meaning beyond material success. Wealth, status, race, nationality, and gender do not define your worth. Your value lies in your character and consciousness of God. Islam answers the deepest questions: Why am I here? Why does suffering exist? What happens after death? It teaches that life is a test, pain is not pointless, and justice is not limited to this world.
Fifth, Islam restores personal responsibility. No inherited sin. No one carries the burden of another. You are accountable for your choices, but you are also never locked out of forgiveness. Repentance is direct, no intermediaries, no rituals of humiliation. Turn back sincerely, and God forgives. This balance between accountability and mercy is rare and powerful.
Finally, Islam is not about becoming Arab, rejecting your culture, or losing your individuality. It is about submitting to truth while remaining human. Across history, Islam has united diverse civilizations under shared principles without erasing their identities.
If your hesitation is based on politics, media stereotypes, or the behavior of some Muslims, then be fair: judge Islam by its sources, not its misuse. Every ideology has followers who betray its ideals.
Islam does not force itself on anyone. It simply invites you to consider: If God exists, if truth matters, and if accountability is real. Then does Islam not deserve a sincere, honest look? Because I don't believe in fairytales. Most religious stories have as much evidence for them as fairytales have, Islam is not exempt. |

jesusjnr2020: About The Upsurge In Lost Souls, Muslims, Atheists, Coming To Christ
It's no longer news the huge rise in number of lost souls coming to Christ around the world.
That of the USA had already been brewing prior to the death of Charlie Kirk, however it seemed to assume a different dimension afterwards, as church attendance and related activities are being reported to have reached record figures.
Even the gen z, including atheists, transgenders, are now turning to Christ and even started attending churches.
This upsurge in lost souls coming to Christ though hasn't just been observed in the USA alone, but in several other countries, including some predominantly Muslim nations, as Iran and Pakistan, where persecutions of Christians are high and have been well documented, however there been reports of an explosion in number of souls yet coming to Christ, with some said to have seen Jesus appear to them in a vision while yet Muslims, which led to their conversion to Christianity.
This in addition to the fulfilment of many biblical prophecies of recent as never seen or heard before.
Could this be yet another sign that last days are truly upon us, hence Jesus is now reaching out to unreached souls Himself more than He ever done before, to warn them to prepare since the time is short and He doesn't want them to miss out what He did for them?
Whatever it is, drawing such record numbers of lost souls to Christ around the world, so long may it continue.
I even wish all souls could find Jesus if possible,, because Jesus is the One they need to be saved and have eternal life.
Jesus is the only way to heaven.
God bless. Christian population in US has not even reached it's 2020 levels.
