OP, ask your brother if Τђε name on his national Id Äπϑ voters card is same as what is on his driver's license. For them to insist on Τђε drivers license, it's possible Τђε 3 Id's have different names Äπϑ Τђε WU was sent with Τђε name on Τђε drivers license.
It's also possible that Τђε money was collected to help him make another license (since it's Τђε fastest Id to produce for 5k) Äπϑ Τђε balance Is Τђε bribe.

Romance / Re: Using A Woman As Your Best Man by lorebobo(f): 7:52am On Oct 04, 2012
@sienna, you originally had a best man who was male and the female who rescued you was a friend's wife. The poster's choice is his best friend who is female so the two scenarios are technically different.

My friend if you are a student dont stress yourself because if someone refuses to understand that,
then they dont deserve a penny from you.

In imo state ,things are not that expensive. if you need to take friends out in owerri just take them
to Dan Anyiam. It's bustling and they have series of nice out-door spots there.
The food and drinks are affordable and nobody will really notice you unless you start showing yourself.

Im travelling @ xmas  to imo too but im not a student  grin so N200,000 wont cut it for me sha

Romance / Re: His Fiancee Of 7yrs Cheated With Her Ex For 4 Months by lorebobo(f): 8:14am On Nov 20, 2009
there must have been a problem with the relationship for her to be confused enough to cheat with her ex. she should talk things out with her fiance. the fundamental problem here is lack of communication. something must have driven her to do what she did.

to avoid a repeat episode, they should try sort our their problems.
Romance / Re: His Fiancee Of 7yrs Cheated With Her Ex For 4 Months by lorebobo(f): 8:11am On Nov 20, 2009
i have some questions of my own.
1) would it have been better if the guy she cheated with was not her ex?
2) would it have been better if she didn't say anything and contend with her conscience?
3) woiuld it have been better if she had confessed after the marriage or years after during the marriage?
4) would reactions be different if she hadn't cheated with her ex?

I just feel the lady could not deal with her conscience anymore and decided to spill the beans. for her to have said it, it means she's really sorry and is ready to make amends. it took a lot of courage for her to do that and it doesn't necessarily mean she'll do it when they're married. i feel the guy should forgive her and go ahead with the marriage but i know he'll never forget. she made a big mistake and is obviously regretting it. its not easy to dump her and move on like what most people are saying. how are you sure the next person will not do the same and not even tell you?

he really has to think this over because for him to have stayed with the lady for this long, it means he really loves her. have you watched the film "best man"? the bride slept with his best friend and he found out on the wedding day but he still married her. so, pls lets think things over properly to avoid hasty decisions we'll later regret.

as the saying goes "what you don't know will not kill you". maybe she should have just shut up.

no. a man should not be 100% responsible for the family bills. the woman should help out. as the woman is helping the man with his responsibilities, the man should help the woman too in her responsibilities. scratch my back, i scratch your back. wink
Romance / Re: We Are To Wed In Five Months Time, but Have No Stable Income by lorebobo(f): 11:37pm On Nov 10, 2009
@ poster, are you looking for money for the marriage or money for the marital life? if it's the former, then, it shouldn't be a problem cos you won't be required to do it all alone. everyone chips in - you, your fiance, your family, your in-laws. if it's the latter, then, you should really think about it because this is one of the reasons why majority of marriages don't last. Finance is a very important thing to consider before marriage.

getting married and postponing childbirth is easier said than done. it's like you want your folks and your church to do retreat for you abi? besides, how old are you guys? when you say the income is not stable, are you guys contractors? like analytical said, we need more info so as to advice you appropriately.

you might be able to take care of yourselves after the marriage but what about the children when they start coming? you'll have to consider pampers, clothes, school fees, more food etc. please, think about this carefully before you proceed. i pray God grants you the wisdom to do the right thing.
Romance / Re: What Matters Most To you In A Relationship? by lorebobo(f): 11:19am On Nov 09, 2009
Love is not the most important in a relationship. Understanding, compromise, not taking your partner for granted, respect, sexual compatibility and friendship are very important in a relationship. Based on these, the love will blossom.

Romance / Re: Ladies Are You Looking Forward To Getting Married? by lorebobo(f): 1:45pm On Oct 26, 2009
help me ask him o. all these men sef. they just have their own ideas of how a lady should behave. they don't even care if she should have a life. i tire for all these men. society just has a warped idea of what and how a woman should live her life as if she doesn't have a say in the matter.

I am looking forward to getting married in the next couple of years. Do I have a choice?  undecided

you do but at the same time, you don't. your mama go chop you raw. same shoes.

Pharoh:

I am not taking anything just implying that a woman should get married early and not wait until she is 30 something when she won't have the strenght or she won't be health wise to give birth to as many children needed by both party. I included both party before you eat up alive  smiley

You included "both parties" so that you won't come across as a chauvinist. What gives you the impression that a 30 something year old lady does not have the strength to give birth to as many as she wants? na wah for you o. You think like a typical african man.

Its not only ladies abroad who have these ideas. those in nigeria do too so don't even go there. getting married will stop you from doing a lot of things you would have ordinarily done if you were single. so, yes it can.

chidexy:

It's not always on the left finger. In Europe, Catholics wear their wedding rings on the 4th finger of the right hand, while Evangelicals wear on the left

agathamari:

what? like where? never seen or heard this

i really don't know about the catholic and evangelicals thing, but i have heard and read that in some parts of Europe, the wedding ring is worn on the 4th finger of right hand. I guess it's tradition. Just get married and enjoy your life and forget about where the ring is supposed to be.
