Yeah. Even the USA is tired of the unrest in the Middle East. It’s just that the USA want negotiation using their own terms which the Iranians don’t subscribe to.

Trump is trying to renegotiate the Iran nuclear deal which is why he said he will be pressurizing UK, France, Russia, etc. on how to go through that in his broadcast today.
Yeah. War doesn't benefits the US because They will spend so much money and then you have the likes of China and Russia waiting for Them to be at their weakest point

Lol. Trump already back down coz his advisors already told him it won’t be in the USA interest to go to war with Iran.

He said he is sanctioning Iran economically rather than replying a military solution.

He also said he will be looking forward to Iran cooperations with the USA for peace in the Middle East.

Sometimes power is not enough, there are many things that might go wrong if USA attacks Iran coz the Middle East will be far more chaotic and it will have a counter effect on the neighbors of Iran and Europe in general in terms of migration.

Either way, no more WW3. Hence Nairaland local war analysts can go to rest now!
Iran has demonstrated with their response that they want de escalation so US have to accept it.

How is Iraq US mainland?
By the time US responds, you'll see Iranians on PressTV and Aljazeera crying and shouting human rights.

Iran said Trump didn't have congressional approval before killing their man. I really hope Iran had congressional approval before attacking a US facility with rockets.

Trump would rain bombs on whoever gave them approval and the surviving Iranians would get the memo.
Iran must respond proportionately and trump will allow the response. It is part of diplomacy... I'm sure nobody will be killed in the base since they will get advance notice and probably move to the shelter. In the end no American soldiers will be killed in the strike, Just damage some facilities and then everybody moves on.
Iran has been stressing that they don't want war but proportionate response . The purpose is purely to massage pride and Ego datsalll

What do I know? I'm just an engineering student who should retire to innovating and designing as per my field. But versatility is what I so much love, being able to be relevant in many fields.

That comment of minimum wage was my little opinion though, you need not calling me a drunkard, it is disrespectful I'm sorry to say.

Back to the matter, as a lover of economic welfare of any system, I know so well that many indexes play roles in determining what causes inflation in any nation. Few of them are import/export ratio, exchange rate, consumer price index (CPI), demand-pull effect, cost-push effect and built-in effect.

Built-n inflation is a cause that links to adaptive expectations. As the price of goods and services rises, labors demand more costs/wages to maintain their cost of living. Their increased wages result in higher cost of goods and services, and this wage-price spiral continues as one factor induces the other and vice-versa. And here is where I see as the strongest index.

What I will least expect from you is further insult, you can at least learn.
All this grammar and yet you could not answer the simple question Mr economics... please provide answers to the simple question.... Thanks

The irony of all these brouhaha is that 90% of Nigerians hadn't heard of or know anything about soleimani before that Friday assassination. Yet you will see them coming online with their empty heads to say he was a terrorists this and that when infact the biggest terrorists the world had ever seen is USA. They killed more than a hundred children in a village called azizabad in Afghanistan around 2001 , their excuse was that they were looking for a mysterious taliban. In 2012 , they repeated the same thing against innocent kids. During the Iraq war in the early 2000s, they captured afghan citizens about 50 in number , locked them up and tortured them. They've assisinated people on their own soil, invaded another country's airspace and committed heinous atrocities. This country called USA is the biggest terrorists of the 21st century and they're determined to do more by destroying Iranian cultural sites. They've been behind the creation of several terrorist and militia group around the world. They created a tiny and weak nation called Israel and spoonfed them with money and military support just because they want them to assist in destabilizing the middle east. It's just terrible.

Minimum wage has always been gateway to inflation in Nigeria's economy. Checking chronology pattern of minimum wage and inflation duet, one will see that there is this one-one correspondence and dependency between the two, one greatly effects another.

Solution to workers financial problems is by no means upward review of minimum wage, but by total price control of goods and services. Higher minimum wage means more cash, less value that legal tenders possess and constant market evaluation. Things will always balance up to remain as it was before. What N10 will buy 10years ago, N100 will buy it this present day, so what is the point?
since minimum wage was 18000 about 6-8 years ago did we not experience inflation? Why did you not state this policy then? Nonsense beer parlour analyst

These people are just shouting 'he was a terrorist' up and down yet there's no single solid proof he had business with any american or responsible for any bullshit. It was just a case of a premeditated attack gone wrong. They had no idea soleimani was in that vehicle and wouldn't be so foolish to kill an iranian general without being bothered about the consequences. They realized their mistake and started telling the whole world cheap excuses. They even went as far as saying soleimani was planning an attack on american soil in the upcoming months lol

The greatest mistake that will be made by any nation in modern history is for Iran to attack USA, Isreal. It will be the end of Iran as you know it. Period!

The devastation will send shockwaves across generations to come. Most of you do not know the level of research, precision technology, and war scenarios the USA have rehearsed over years for Iran. They will decimate Iran beyond recognition.

Richdad
Don't mind all those ppl hyping Iran... Imagine a top general just killed with a simple precision weapon. Iran shot down a US drone and yet the US was supposed to respond but they didn't, they attacked a Saudi Arabia petroleum facility and yet The US and Saudis showed restraint...They continued to misbehave and finally the US had to send a clear statement to them.

An Israeli or Iran direct face off would be unpredictable. Iran I argue is far more dangerous than Egypt. Today Isreal is very weary of a war with Egypt even after defeating Egypt twice.

But I am certain Iran would make a move for Isreal. It's the most strategic place for Iran to begin a war. Middle east is very complex and for US to successfully defeat Iran it needs Arab allies like the GCC. A quick strategic attack on Isreal would prompt Israeli response. An Israeli response would shatter an Arab coalition the US intends to build against Iran.

However, Iran underestimate how much Isrealis trust and love trump.

An Attack Against Isreal Would Not Be Met By Any Retaliation By Isreal!

The US would plead for Isreal not to retaliate just the way it did back during the war against Saddam Hussein. That time, Saddam fired scud missiles into Isreal after American provocation. He hoped Isreal would retaliate and shatter any intending Arab coalition. But Isreal responded not and allowed US and the Arabs to deal with Iraq.

I entered the new year ejaculating, my mates were praying.
Someone said it is a bad omen.

They may be right if truly Iran wants to go to war.

Because by the time they are through with USA and Israel, some of us might not even have any semen left to ejaculate again.

I just hope they don't transfer some aggression on those holding ElZazaky because Trump has pushed Iran into Overdrive.
And this anger knows no mercy.

That is what I call a nation.
A country that knows when push has turned to shove.

If it were one country now, it's Minister of Communication would have since given a press release denying the death of any General.

He'd call the missile attack a case of firecrackers and 'knockouts' from excited children celebrating the New Year then blame the opposition for heating up the polity by spreading fake news.

While the Presidential media aide will say that the said General committed suicide just to apologize to the US.

Bad is bad.

The stupid thing about Govt electricity pricing is that they thought by increasing tariffs, more revenues would be generated. But that's dummy lie as more leakages will shrink whatever income expected. The rate of thefts will rubbish proceeds from increased bill.

However, if the Hovt makes power affordable to the common man, then you have large consumers of power paying for it. Consequence is that there will be a huge revenue turnover compared to the first scenario undecided

But Donald Trump should stop this fvckery.
If he wants to fight terror, he should channel his energy on Boko Haram. Why jeopardize the peace of the world by attacking Iran; a nuke nation that shows and knows no mercy.

I am not in support of the murder of a dedicated General.
