Aquadude16:Have you started selling your tomatoes? How do you sell including transport? |
Aquadude16:You stopped updating your thread. Are you still in the cucumber and tomato business? How do you sell for someone in another state? |
puyol005:Birthday mate, same day |
Good morning all. I just go an offer of admission but my supervisor is saying no funding for the two years. It's a MASC research program. Though he said it during my application but I thought he could get funding along the way but now he's even telling me that for the two years I should be prepared to sponsor myself. I don't have enough funding. Should I look for another school or what. Please I need urgent advice |

NairaLuck:I'm also in a related dilemma. I've tried paying my application fee for university of Windsor but it keeps showing e-commerce error: invalid card details. I've tried several MasterCard and VISA cards. Any help will be appreciated. N.B: I've used this card to pay for other Canadian universities application fee and there was no problem. |
[quote author=OCway92806 post=92181074]Why are you this bitter. Really! I had to check again if you are the OP. I'm not a typical Nigerian that stoops low to answer insults cos I have high self esteem. Do well to share your opinion without being overly bitter. Nairaland is a small world you know and as I said in my first post, I stand to be corrected constuctively. I have been in the OP's position before and I know how he feels. So I can relate with it. Unfortunately, you seem to think mainland is your small London. Oops! |
solonubinho:Yes I read through and I'm very okay. You can pass your information across without the insults. I have the right to my opinion. Gett off my mention |
An English adage says no man is an island of himself so I'll not dissuade you from helping people. Although I guess you are not here to listen to reason but to hype yourself. Anyways, when you require a simple thing from them and they surprisingly decline, you will learn about human beings cos you are yet to understand. I stand to be corrected though. |
Good evening House. I've really learnt alot from the contributions here. I need help regarding my application for graduate diploma (2 years). What I'd like to know is that does it get funding like masters program (partial, full or none). Thanks |

Mine was in OAU, Ile-Ife. My friend from Adesanmi hostel invited me for his pharmacy induction. My department was close-by so I got there before they finished at oduduwa hall. While sitting at his tent, the tent beside us was already serving food. I just stood and went there. I was given the woman plate and she was serving her guests. The woman had varieties. Gues this drew crowds of students. Within a short time, her tent was bustling. Funny thing was the students were now begging me, Aunty please serve me. Aunty!!!! I was just laughing inside like, see this people o. Twas really fun. I even served the guys on my friends tent. |
OP, My advise is to beg your wife very well to forget the matter and plead with her not to indulge in any fight again. Because if you invite the police in this Corona virus period, you will spend o. The money that should have gone into other things. Peradventure the man is suffering from an undisclosed ailment, and you go to fight him, the whole story will change. Even the neighbors that are waiting for your action will term you murderer and that your wife will leave. Apply wisdom in this matter. Don't confront the man today. Tomorrow, meet the man leisurely and tell him: daddy Xyz, my son is your son and you are like his dad. You are free to correct him. But, ha ha, you should not have beaten my wife. You know women Don't think when it concerns children, I'm sorry my wife abused you but you owe my wife an apology. If this doesn't work, put it in prayer. God will fight for you. |
Wow! I also experienced something similar last month. I was in my kitchen when the lightning struck. I felt it in my right arm. I was standing close to the kitchen door. It was like an electric shock. It was very scary experience. @ Op, Thank God for his protection |
I just finished reading your threads from the first page to the last. Quite interesting and informative. I'm booking a Lhasa pup in advance. Guess you attend The Apostolic Church btw. Saw it in one of the pix. |
Help me interpret this dream. I usually dream of looking for water like carrying pail and looking for water. Other times, I will be fetching water and storing them. Recently, I saw a queue and people were waiting in line to fetch water from the tap though the tap wasn't running again. I walked to the front and turned the tap and suddenly water started running again but immediately my bucket became full, the tap stopped running. What's the interpretation pls. |
Happy Sunday to you all. I just finished reading a true life story of a man who had committed some atrocities way back in secondary school which he kept secret from his family. Okay let me share the story! The man's name was Peter. When he was in secondary school, he used to be the best student until a girl called Monica joined their class in SSS 2. Monica was exceptionally brilliant and she came out the best in her first exam in their class. This brought Peter to second position in class and many who respected him shifted to Monica. All the boys his my class made him a subject of ridicule, saying an ordinary girl had beaten him hands down. This development really affected him so much that he developed hatred for Monica. The next term, he tried hard to take his position back but his efforts took him a step backward. He became third position in class from first. The third term was worse as his position went back to tenth. This made him develop more hatred for Monica and he began to plan how to hurt her. All attempts to harm her never materialised until few months to their WAEC. He became close to Monica so he could get opportunity to carry out his plan. They started studying together but all was to get her. After he had gained her trust, he lured her into a government primary school on the pretense that they want to go and study. She was too innocent to suspect that he will harm her or take advantage of her. As soon as Peter noticed she was buried in her study, he grabbed her from behind and took advantage of her. She begged him not to do it to her but his heart was clouded with hatred for her over her taking his position and making him a laughing stock among their peers. Monica was a virgin but he took away her virginity without her consent. She wept bitterly and began to curse him. She lifted her stained pant up and mentioned his name three times and began; “You forcefully took away my virginity which I have been preserving for my husband.” “I trusted you but you betrayed my trust.” “You took away what does not belong to you in the midst of tears.” “You turned deaf ears to my begging because of lust.” “It will not be well with you.” “My innocence will inflict you with demons of rape until your life becomes miserable.” “Your generations will suffer rape forever.” “You will never know peace until you rape your mother.” He didn’t take her serious until seven years later when his desire to rape every woman around him grew like wildfire inside of me. Eventually, he raped his mom, raped his sister and continued raping women uncontrollably. Later, he claimed he has given his life to Christ and his family forgave him. He got married and didn't confess his sins to his wife. Their marriage didn't yield any child after more than 10years of marriage. Unknown to his wife, the man was molesting his sister living with them. One day, the woman caught him and packed out of the house. It was later in the process of reconciliation at their pastor's office, the man was asked to confess. Meanwhile, the wife thought his sister's molestation was the end of it. It wasn't until the man confessed that she learnt that he raped his grandmother and killed her. This confession led to the death of his parents who were very shocked because they thought the grandmother died of natural cause. The man eventually became truly born again and God blessed them with a daughter after thirteen years of marriage. Unfortunately, the girl has also been raped 6 times. That is the end of the story!!! I believe if he had confessed immediately after raping Monica, forgiveness would have been sought and things wouldn't have escalated. So, Nairalanders, what are the hidden sins you are scared of confessing and restituting? Let's share our experiences!! |
Ishilove:if everyting fails try praying may God take control |
Nairalanders kindly help me clarify this issue. I am currently applying to a school in Canada for masters program. The requirement says GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 in the last two years of undergraduate studies or second class upper. I graduated with 3.43/5.0 but in my last two years, my GPA (out of 5.0) are 4.05, 5.0, 3.76, 3.83 consecutively. Using WES GPA calculator, all are above 3.0. Will i be considered? |
visatex:That's a proud and insensitive thing to say. So what if you are employed? You can pass your message without any insults added. |
Awol1:If it's possible to like a post more than once, I would have liked your post 1 million times |
ironheart:Please how does the OBD2 scanner work. Can it work with Honda car too? |
GrabHisBalls:Well done for the bravery and selflessness. But what about his wife and children? |
tpiar:It's true. It's a tribe in kogi state. In Yoruba translation, it means "ota mi re, ada mi da). In the tribe, ota (which in common Yoruba dialect is enemy) refers to friend while ada (which in common Yoruba dialect is cutlass) refers to father. . |
WildChild00:You could have given your points without quoting me since your view is different from mine |
Babe, even though I don't classify all weird things as being spiritual, why not try prayer. Cos from what I deduce from your write up, it's really really bothering you. Use Numbers 23:23 to pray for your husband. IT REALLY WORKS! |
obembet:It's not low thinking at all. In saner climes, there are institutions that provide welfare services for old people. Unfortunately, in Nigeria, we'll be thanking the government for providing us with what we rightly deserve. |
please what was the nature of the test? some helpful tips will be appreciated |
Smiles305:I have checked and it isn't there |
