Are you asking whether I am in Ilorin or Offa? I don't know why nairaland is saying that, I have never sent a P.M to anyone on nairaland before.

I have never bought any book online. Minus the 2 I bought on nairaland. I rarely buy novels. I wanted to buy "Pacesetter" books because I missed them. My mum is a teacher so she used to bring books for us to read from her School's library, and when I was in Sec Sch my school stocked those books. I borrow and read free online novels.

Hello, Hello, busy this weekend, na now i just dey enter nairaland. Why do you like it? think about it very well again? Seriously, why do you like it? You will see it will somehow revolve around a fake attitude or lifestyle, i.e a part of you you don't want others to see or know about you......
I guess that is one of the reasons Nairaland was created. But I doubt I will say what I can't say real life because identity can be blown any time or I decide I want to be known. But for now I prefer to be anonymous

I also eat naija "swallow" i.e Eba, Amala, p.yam all with my washed bare hands even at high-end restaurants and i get the "look" from some people but i don't really care for i just don't know how to eat "swallow" with fork and knife, i'm sorry i just don't know how to.
Amin. Lol. Made me remember using my hand in one formal gathering to eat swallow, only to look back and see many people doing the same, they were initially embarrased I guess, but when they saw me not caring they left the embarrasment somewhere else.

My brother it is paining me, you spoke my mind. I don't understand why you will pay money for your children to learn English Language in school and your Language that they can learn for free which is a bonus and make them understand English Language more is now vernacular even in the house. I call my dad "baami", u need to see people's reactions when they first hear me call him that, but I usually stand my ground that baami is my dad in my Language and I am not ashame to call him that. My husband better not be a "modern" man because this lady will speak her Language to her children & I don't care about English Language is the universal Language.

You may be unaware of its spiritual implications. Seek help now.
O ma se o( what a pity), when will we be free of attaching spirit to everything in this country? I dey look at you in 3D because Nigerian film idealogy has affected you.Even if there is spiritual attachment to it and I am putting it on for fashion, what is the correlation? Help ko, help ni. You better seek spiritual help for you to be free of that kind of thinking as soon as possible.

Sorry for insults thrown at u, those people are not looking at the future, they think you want to spoil their relatinship but I don't see it like that. It is either the girl has changed or she hasn't. I will prefer you talk to her in private but where there are people who can't hear you so that you won't be accused of ulterior motive. Ask if she told the guy about her past, if she didn't, tell her to tell him but don't be the one to tell your cousin because it is their business. It isn't your fault if she turns out bad, afterall there are some past one can't tell and your cousin should have done his findings and research before proposing to her. If he did proper check he should have have known and confronted her and decided if he wanted the relationship or not.

Life has too many problems itself, to add lack of parents' support for one's marriage is another complicated problem on its own. That's why I don't like emotional gamble i.e fall in love with a guy without my parents' knowning but it doesn't mean I can't quit the relationship if I want. Atleast they will hint if they don't like the guy and I will free the poor nigga earlier with minimal damage to our feelings. Sorry man, when you start having female kids, you will appreciate her decision to put her dad first. Her dad might later support it but it will be like a forced support. It doesn't mean she didn't love you. I still remember me killing my likeness for a guy for my dad till date (No regrets and he is doing well). Life dealt you a lesson, pick yourself up, raise your head high and be great. Your own girl is coming along but I don't know when.

Na to walk out on both of them sure pass. When they settle the matter, both of them will start looking for me and I won't forgive them unless they swear never to pull that stunt on me again. It is not easy to choose between two people you love because you will hurt two people: the person u didn't choose and yourself.

Superstory used to be the no.1 TV drama when I was growing up and I don't think the background song has changed till date. My version of the song evovled over time to this "This is superstory, a life of strive & sorrow, a life of which fishes are even dying of thirst, this is superstory, superstory" I don't know if it is nonsense sha. Drop your own superstory lyrics may be I will learn the correct one.

Age does not matter to me despite the fact I can't date someome younger than me. But I don't see why it should bother you if she accords you due respect . But if you know it will always be something hanging in your head and make you feel uncomfortable, please free her as soon as possible.

Not everybody appreciate people bro. That is why there is a word called "ingrate"

Just appreciate what I did that's all I ever wanted . as per my girl she is using it as an edge ,last night I said something to her and her reply was " ehn cos its me na,the one that called you gay you couldn't do anything to her . I felt really bad. Its not the first she is saying it. Someone once said girls love bad guys , players I think its a fact.
Not bad guys, but I think I will call it assertive guys. Those that can handle you. What your girl said was bad, hurty and embarrasing. But you should have scolded her for her to know that she can't get away with utterances like that. I hate my guy scolding me, it makes me feel childish and immature. If you really like her, that is not a reason to break up with her. Just be a guy and let her not hurt your feelings in the name of love.

Do things without expexting anything from people if you don't wanna be disappointed. I think you were expecting her to be atleast nice, but there are many twisted beings in life. Just tell your girl to stop the mockery, let her know it is getting to you. Girls know when guys ain't joking. Just show her it isn't funny to you. As for your colleagues, it isn't their business where you get your satisfaction and to hell with them staring. I appreciate the fact that you took your lessons to respect opposite sex seriously, and not see them as sex object. Do your thing, don't let some nairalanders corrupt your mind.

Hi nairaland, ladies to be specific. This will start with a question "Do you know the pros and cons of the disposable menstrual pad you use?". Majority don't know I guess. Despite the fact that I am in a health related environment, I didn't take this seriously until recently, when I decided to go natural and take charge of my periods plus the economic situation of this country forced me to do my research. Though majority of our mothers used cloth pads they thought it is more sophisticated to buy disposable pads for us. So my dears do your research today, and for those who find that boring let me highlight some pros and cons for both disposable and reusable menstrual pads.
Disposable pads pros
It is acceptable( I can't think I have any other advantage, you can add if you have)
Cons
It is expensive
It smells
It makes funny noises that I hate when walking(why must everyone know I'm on my period)
I have to be careful on the number of times I use the ladies because I am managing the pad
It is creates eyesore in the environment, we all know the waste management disposal in this country is nothing to write home about ( not everyone has pit latrines, I can't start burning pads unless I want to use a gallon of kerosine, the only method I use is fold it in a nylon and throw it in the dustbin)
Some people are allergic to the chemicals they use to lock the blood in a gel( It makes me have rashes)
Some of the products are carcinogenic i.e they cause cancer. I will post the pros and cons of reusable pads in my next post so that this won't be too stuffy and boring. And subsequestly I will teach you how to make your own sexy and attractive reusable pads for those that are interested. I will post it here and on my blog. Thanks and bye for now. smiley
