Just take it easy. Do slow eating. If you can't eat during the day try at night. Don't forget to keep taking your vitamins. Take sips of water / lucozade. Don't gulp. You will be over it very soon. Hugs

Hmmmm. You need to see her ped. How thick do you make the cereal? That could be a factor. Keep giving her the orange juice. Pls not the packet juice but freshly squeezed orange juice. 10baby spoons of it should make her poop well. Well if you are near shoprite or any maajor supermarket look for prunes puree. Either from purity foods or gerber. It can make ur baby poo

What do you mean by a constipated baby? Is your baby's poo hard? Have you seen a doc?

Lol @ your experiences. Pregnancy can change women eh. You just start acting funny. Something I did that worked for me.
1. Chew your food slowly. Make sure you belch after a spoonful. I eat a small plate of food for 30mins. If I don't do that , it means the food will come right out after it enters my tummy.

2. After eating sit still. Don't go jumping around

3. I ate a lot of ice cubes especially at night. That's the only time I was able to get liquid in. Don't drink water while eating o.

4. I drank a lot of lucozade with crushed ice.

5. Ensure you take your vitamins. If u can't take it in the morning, then take at night.

It depends on how your baby eats. If the instruction is 1 spoon to 5 spoons of water. It means you multiply by 5 the number of spoons of food eg 5 spoons of water x 3spoons of food. That's 15 spoons of water. Tho you need to use ur instinct too. Don't make it too hard or too soft. Just give it the pap consistency. Don't forget to give baby water during each feed wheat is ok but rice is better

Rule no 1 in taking care of newborn is that u have to be calm at all times. Don't let anything overwhelm you. You also need to be vigilant. I believe if you had been monitoring your baby, you should know how he acts when hungry. Don't send yourself into a panic mode for nothing.

Every baby food/ milk comes with instructions. Don't listen to what the shop attendants are telling you. Read what is written on the "body"/ tin of the food. There is an instruction on the nos of spoons, quantity of water / milk to use. If you are giving milk the instruction is also on the can. When it comes to water, you need to give as u feed him cereal to avoid constipation. Avoid maize cerelac for now till baby gets to one year. Ensure you Get the rice next week

Its best to start with rice cereal. Its mild anmd very easy for babys to tolerate. I don't know lacktogen milk. I use sma progress from 6months. Feed him thre to four times daily. The quantity to be given is written on the can.

How old is your baby? I believe You should have mastered his fceeding habit. Don't you know the way he acts when he is hungry? Or wants to sleep? Time his feeding. When he cries find out if he wants to sleep or eat. Truthfully babies generally don't act same. I still ask. Are you a first time mum?

My dear you ned to explain well so proper advice can be given to you. BM does not cause diarrhea cept you express and the feeding bottle is not well sterilized same as bottle for the watter. How old is your baby? It is not wise to introduce adult food till baby is 1yr( that's for me sha) cos we have a lot of orishirishi in our food. You can prepare his own naturl foods. If you want to start with cereal go rof rice cereal its easier to digst. Please don't force your baby to eat when he is not hungry or to drink water when he is not thirsty. Are you a first time mum? Well done, nuturing babies is no joke you need to be smart and vigilant all the time.

Pls rush go buy garden egg. Eat plenty of it. Eat lots of paw paw. Drink plenty water. I can't rem if have delivered or still preg. Don't force it o else u will have injury. Its just that the hard one has to come out first before d other ones. Also while doint it. Push it out a lil pause and continue till it slides out. Sorry to be so detailed. Its just that I feel ur pain. I've been there.
