BritneyStacy:Hmmmmm. Please, I don't know about that one o. All I know is that I listen to my doctors and heed exactly what they tell me. They told me severally to reduce my carbs once I hit third trimester. Its not because of any health concerns but solely for baby weight. Like I said earlier, just eat a lil of everything and you will be fine. Don't go snacking on junk and co |
My dear, I no say make u no chop protein o!! EAT YOUR PROTEIN!!!! Its very important to the growth of your baby. My emphasis is solely on carbs. Everything you eat as a pregnant mama must be taken in moderation. Don't load chicken full plate and call lovinam!! U are on ur own o! Rotfl!! Gaily04: |
Hey all!! Please watch What you eat, I knoww preggy mamas love to eat. Ensure your meals are well balanced, more of veggies than carbs. Once you hit third trimester, do all you can to avoid carbs. They are the biggest culprit of fat babies. My doc will always tell me to avoid carbs and eat veg, fruits and protein. Also exercise is very important. Take short/long walks everyday cos if you don't the lil food you ate will just sit there in your system and contribute to the fat. Lol. Well done mamas |
I don't think its advisble. Wht did your doctor say? Pls don't ttake anything without your gyn knowledg. Happy bumping!! pintoxx: |
That should have been the first thing before the presccription. Like tchwinie said Amoxil is safe in pregnancy. I'm just concerned the doc didn't run tests. Teegali: |
Gr8fulHeart:My dear, I don't have tips o! Use your instinct. Meanwhile, don't wash it with cold water. As soon as you get home pour piping hot water in it and cover it. Allow it to stay overnight, wash the flask in the morning. If you don't do this, there is no guarantee it will keep your lo's food hot |
Can't go wrong with HAERS. Make sure its d original Gr8fulHeart: |

Kwentjules Hi dear, have you tried eating very lil portions at intervals. Also try not to drink water immediately after meal. Figure out what you can tolerate and eat up. Try and belch after eating, it helps. If you can tolerate lucozade drink( not boost) it sure helps. Lucozade on ice. That was my "meal" for some days. |
Onyxgem10 My dear, you did the right thing by telling him. What he chose to do with the info was entirely up to him. Relax the matter will sort itself out. Keep being your good old self, pls don't be extra nice because you feel guilty. You did nothing wrong rather you saved her tinini tanana from further decay! Keep bouncing sis! NB - no vex for DH o! I just saw this online : IS YOUR CHILD GETTING READY FOR SECONDARY SCHOOL? If you are reading this as a parent getting ready with your child for secondary school congratulations. First, let me ask you this. Is your child a minor or fit for secondary school? Answering the above question with all sincerity is the starting point of a journey that will end well. Secondary school life is a different ball game. WHAT TO DO 1. Visit the school you intend your child to attend over and over again. While you are there please take note of every move and silent happenings. Look at teachers conduct unconsciously. Don't ignore any little negative observation please. Most importantly, watch how teachers communicate with students in that school community. Don't visit just once please make it frequent. 2. Demand for facility tour. You must insist on going round the school. Make sure the school has the laboratories, entrepreneurial department, most especially functioning ICT room. Research has shown that in high schools where they don't have facilities students really really go wide. 3. Listen to what parents in your community or the school community are saying about the school. Try to ask questions from parents who has children in the school before. My personal advice: if you need to sacrifice now few of your luxurious life to have your child in a good school better do. I say this because your next generation must be better, that is the evidence of great success. Good school I mean is not all about the price but schools with great facilities and good leadership. @Rezzy how's you baby doing? Did you see your pead? |
Hahahahaha. Self Righteous dude. So if one makes a mistake and repents, the wages of his sin is still death! Abeg clear make persin see road. That's how you all go around condemning people instead of showing them how our God is loving and forgiving jabojafa: |
Nope. Whatever you use for such treatment should be disposable to avoid reoccurance. Her hands won't touch his eyes if she is careful. I still use that method till date anytime I notice eye discharge. babythug: |
jabojafa:Shhhhh keep quiet!! Oga judge! |
When does the whitte stuff come out? When he wakes up or everytime. You should see his paed to ensure its nothing. You can also try this method my pead gave me. Add salt to warm water, dab cotton ball in the solution, squeeze it till u got very lil water on itt. Then clean his eyes from tthe nosebridge point to the other end. Change the cottton ball often. Do it 3-4 ties daily. Ensure you dontt use your hands to clean it because you can re infect the eye. rezzy: |
Kudos to you op. You did well, nott every man can withstand such temptation. God bless your relationship. NB: no ttry am again |
She should ask her gyn if he has concerns about the baby. Sometimes not heeding to docs advise can cost you. So she should thread carefully. I will gladly work with my docs to ensure I have a healthy baby. I pray for a smooth delivery piscesgem: |
Happy birthday madam fin sece!! May your days be favoured and blessed |
Hahahahahah. We will revisit this topic in a few years time It also depends on the future you plan for your kids. I mean St Monica's knows zero about checkpoint exams so why enroll my child there. I will go for schools that are in line with my plans for them. I also told you earlier, environment plays a huge factor. If you've gott no good school around you then you really don't have an option. Who sends a 9yrs old child to boarding school. OYO is your case. God forbid that my child's first experience of independence will be In a University. I saw first hand what it did to my friends in uni. No way! Let's do it now and make our corrections. Meanwhile, you are just being emotional. Lmao! In their first year,I'm not sure I ever had a good nights rest for a whole year. Rotfl! I was hyperventilating!! Now I'm so cool and get to read their hilarious diaries. ( I asked them to keep diaries) #Teamboarding #TeamCo-ED byvan03: |
Most good schools have zero tolerance for bullying. They. Also separate seniors and junior( both in school block, ref and hostel). They have limited interaction. My dear just give them good training and they won't disappoint you. Also schools have call days and visiting days. Good schools give you access to their hostel area during open house. If they don't RUN AWAY!!! You can acess a school by looking at staff countenance o! I've mastered that one. Lol. ( That's my day job) Calm down I'm sure when the time comes you will make the right decision. Meanwhile if you want home away from home just go and make plenty money cos "good soup na money make am". byvan03: |
The things I look out for in a boarding School 1. The environment( Security, well kept, classrooms etc) 2. Academic standard( check the Education board in the LGA) 3. The spiritual activity in the school 4. Scope the staff( once you walk into a school, you will know if its a war zone) 5. I watch the body language of every staff I come across including the heads. 6. Check the hostel accommodation. 7. Look out for parents that will give you an honest opinion 8. Prayerfully make your choice. My children are in boarding school and I have no issues with the school. Well just one issue- they are over fed. byvan03: |
