Itunup: Good morning house, pls I am 23wks today and it has been malaria all thru.I treated mal in my 7th, 11th,13th,15th and 20th wks respectively and I'm having a sleepless night now due to malaria symptoms,d more I avoid it, d more it comes,I've Bn taking chloroquine and amocilin tablets prescribed by my anti natal Doc and Im having mixed feeling about it now.what again can I do to prevent malaria? It hasn't Bn funny. Thanks

@All preggy mamas so because of excess saliva like 3 experienced mothers told me to take bitter cola or nnzu. I was so scared cos I thought I have put too much cola in my system. They said it does no harm and showed me their children. They say the bitter cola even helps with malaria during pregnancy. Hmmm I am learning

Once again,thank you all and may God keep all our babies for us in good health and make them blossom into great children,all preggy mommies shall also put to bed easily like the Hebrew women IJN.Cheers!!!

That's the way the attend to patients. Each cunsultant works with a team of docs and one or two nurses. I guess they will change their pattern now. Great loss to the hospital.

MadCow1: First consultant Hospital where she worked was a private hospital and thus the reason why he was attended to by more than one doctor.

However, this would go a long way to bring some sanity to our medical professionals in how they carry out their job.

She should NEVER sleep on her back. She should sleep on her side. The left side, it helps blood/ oxygen flow to the baby. Yes she will be restless at this stage, get her extra pillows. There is not much you can do now cos this is the wait and growth period. Just keep being the nice and understanding man. In first consultant. Each consultant has a team of doctors he// she works with, so that explains the situation. They treat every patient the same.

Stop making such silly comments. If you have been to first consultants , you would know that those guys stop at nothing to ensure you are comfortable while they treat you. Ask around.

Please is it ok to take TREVO SUPPLEMENT during pregnancy? has any of our mamas tried it? I used to take trevo it helps alot with fatigue among other things. I am always weak so I felt I should ask. Also I read alot of testimonies on the trevo how it reduces morning sickness. Has anyone tried it

It might not be ela. Did you change to a new diaper? How often do you change her diaper? Girls are prone to diaper rash than boys. Is the area reddish? Try to air her b*m often.

I thot we told you sometime ago to stay away from maize cereal? Pls pay heed to advice from experienced mothers. Maize causes constipation, especially nigerian cerelac. We also told you to give ur baby rice cereal that its the best. You can keep the wheat till baby gets to 9months.

Pls quickly buy fresh orange( not packet orange juice ). Squeeze and give him at least 15 spoons. That's his baby spoon. Make sure there is no seed in it. Also give him plenty water. Stay away from maize cereal!!!

MojAyo: I took orange myself,can a baby at 6month take orange,and what's peas,and for d measurement of meal,I measured it d way they said we should be giving him and I also add milk to it,e.g two spoonful of cerelac,I spoonful of milk,sometimes if I prepare d meal with d measurement written there,its thick or light,when its too thick,I add liTtle water for him nt to get constipated,

Hello sir, congratulations first before we talk morning sickness mata. Pls let her chew slowly, if she can get in two spoons of food and belch afterwards that's fine. She should try to stay away from water after eating. Maybe chew ice but not drink water. If you don't have ice trays, you can freeze sachet water( good quality). She can also take sips of lucozade with ice. Pls ensure she takes her vit,she can take at night. Well done! It will soon be over, just a few more weeks

Hello dear. Sometimes rashes on the face can be caused by saliva. Apply soap on a wash cloth and scrub a the area. Use another wash cloth to wipe clean. I apply medication when I'm sure natural method doesn't work. Apply a lil prickly powder. This is the age they put their fingers in their mouth and draw a lot of saliva.

Yes babies scratch their hair, ear or face while suckling. Lol
