EricBraven: Watch and see king Azubuike will come and say it is hunter rifle
Anytime there is a positive image of a Nigerian Soldier he gets pained. This image pains him to his soul . A made in America Sniper Rifle doesn’t help his rant about Soldiers being under equipped. For the past Week The MNJTF has been bombing BH In the Lake Chad Areas. Now we are learning that they are seeing hell in Gwoza. 15Dead BH
Let add this to his misery More VT4 MBT are coming More Spanking cBrand New Tank Destroyers are coming. Artillery Systems dey come. Between now and November the JF-17 will arrive. Most likely more MI35 Helicopters Navy will receive at least 2 Helicopters And 2021 The LST will be getting ready.
King Azubike Has one bigoted goal in life to kill the threads on African Militaries and Battlefields. He is a self loathing individual in his bigoted mind there is nothing redeeming about being Black Nigerian African. In a previous life he would of fit very well as a Nazi sympathizer. He has never posted anything positive about the black man or Nigeria. He twin brother is a lowly coward called Gabonese. I beg go Gabon left Naija alone. Don’t allow these two people who couldn’t sell ice cream in Saudi Arabia to kill this Blog . Guys anytime you have anything good about Nigeria , Africa to share , Please share it . Eventually they will slink back into the slimy hole they slithered out from.
Toju200: guy see if proforce says theywant to build a tank they will... Possibly in the future.why does it seem impossible other countries that developed tanks didn't they start from somewhere It may not be a MBT at first Maybe a tracked IFV with big guns then progress to light tanks and so on This will take years but they Will do According to them Not me
Agreed We already discussed that the next step for Proforce should be a Tracked IFV, That should not be so difficult for them. It is the progression from there to a fully fledged Tank I am thinking 5-10 years. ARA took 5 years. I am sure they have learned by now how to engage Govt . Recall Proforce started out dealing with the GEJ administration.
For personnel I would turn to Serbia. For a base model I would lean towards the early T72s What type of Private Steel Foundry Companies would be interested? Again I would cautiously approach the Ukrainians would they be interested in setting up shop at least 1/2 way in Nigeria? Nothing ventured nothing gained. Proforce started from Armoured Cars . Maybe this company would start from Armoured vaults for Banks? Something that would entice them to Nigeria
BlackBaron: I hope I could be proven wrong. Just the finance/complexity are a tall order. The financial backing required would have to be ironclad without the penchant for government or their successors to starve, delay or pull the plug. They'll lose momentum, increase costs and probably piss people involved to leave.
Building a tank cost a Brazilian company to go bankrupt and the Indian tank has been beset by huge problems. Turkey has 1, but it's also the most expensive (rumoured $13M per unit) on the planet without capability to match Abrams or Armata.
The most important bit will be producing a tank that's capable than say what a fairly cheap T55 can offer. Using a base model is probably the best option and would save a lot. Tank details should be mostly proprietary, If we outsource almost all components to outsiders, most countries would already know how to defeat it before it reaches the battlefield. There'll also be issue of logistics. It's why I'll like to see other supporting industries on ground.
I would go for Ex Soviet as they have pedigree in tanks plus potentially reasonable wages versus the very well renumerated European or American.
About the NN, there's some capability in the shipbuilding industry thanks in part to the oil sector. Worth hundreds of millions, many companies are indeed motivated. Would not be surprised if frigate scale projects would suffice in the future.
Points are valid: Here’s the benefits of using a cheap base model Unlike Brazil or what India did you are not starting from scratch let’s even call it a cheap knock off. The benefits are you have taken care off difficult questions like weight vs armor thickness because those parameters have already been set. Of course there would have to be some kind of guarantees from the Govt. If you recall recently the very same NASS visited the Naval dockyards and actually demanded more Ships should be built in Nigeria. It would be important to get NASS on board at the initial stages. Proforce I could see them being at least intrigued to come up with the drawings and 3D based on a base model for a modest fee.
KingAzubuike: You talk like a primary school kid doing debate. He is young, naive and wrong but he thinks he is right because he thinks he is right. His listeners and teachers will cheer him up no matter the nonsense he says because afterall, it's just a primary school debate.
See as the fellow dey talk 3D animation and importation of steel from South Africa lol.
One of the things about you is your lack of comprehension and communication skills without resorting to abuse. It shows the level of degeneration within you. Unfortunately for you there is absolutely nothing redeeming about you. A discussion is being had on whether it is possible to build a Tank in Nigeria that is all. Unremarkably and unsurprisingly you couldn’t in your foetid brain offer a single cogent reason but to resort to abuse. Criticize go after the points I raised like others did laying out the costs and need for Govt guarantees ( valid) points. Next time when grown folks are having a genuine discussion understand ill -mannered cretins like yourself that lack basic comprehensive skills should just walk on by.
bidexiii: The T72 & RM70 where rushed into service immediately they where shipped into Nigeria. This is not what they said, it’s what we saw and we knew. The T72 and RM70 went straight to Maiduguri, before they where distributed into deferent theatres. Concerning the VT4 MBT, has I replied to your earlier comment they have already been trained. “I don’t understand which one be some guys”
BIDEXXI Calm down The Tanks came in two different shipments The second were not rushed into service because they had to travel from LAGOS The RMs let just say we agree we are on a social media platform so let us just agree the crews had to be trained to use them ( I am deliberately leaving stuff out). For the VT4 LT GEN LAMIDI ADEOSUN Said some were trained ( in CHINA) Some were supposed to be trained but the trainers ( read Chinese ) were unable to come because of the COVID -19 VIRUS Also go and look at the pictures the TANKS they were being unloaded had at least one Chinese Individual is there there ( Probably military) The likely scenario is the remainder of the TANK training will be done via video link and+ Tank Simulation before they go into the field. don't forget even as we speak more stuff has probably arrived since then.
slimthugchimee2: Oga you did not make any observation, you where just ranting up and down meaninglessly forgetting that ezegwu1 was in the first stage of its development, abi have you forgotten that Ara had been changed 3 times to get to its current stage?
They made alot of changes after that ezegwu1 and there will be more to come.
Don't just come online to rant just because you feel you know better than the actual engineers that are developing it
I try not to get into every discussion but guys there is something called prototype now What we are actually seeing right now is the prototype the ARMY ORDERED 130 Even in America the y will not build all models the same now i beg take am easy They have to find out ( from experience even in the battlefield ) what works and what does not prototype no2. has a double axle at the back ( four wheels on the back) that means more weight / versus stability you find a balance the prototypes will be driven very fast around bends ( what is the tip over speed ? it doesn't make it unstable) guys take it easy the vehicle is not even a year old !
bidex111: If memory serves me right the T72, RM 70 .... etc where rushed into the N.E theatre. Regarding the VT4 MBT, the crew members are already trained in China.
No they were not Unbeknownst to a lot of people some people were sent abroad. for the RM70 Most definitely I can tell you it was not rushed into service Even the VT-4 some guys were sent abroad.
BlackBaron: It's just a discourse. No need to stoop low to abuse because of difference in opinion.
I believe the discussion should be honestly around the possibility of whether it can be done or not. I remember during the NIGER DELTA insurgency of the 1990 a notorious Western Journalists openly mocked the NAF helicopter capabilities to fly the temperamental MI-35 P Flash forward 20 YEARS Nigeria is one of the few AFRICAN COUNTRIES that has a female HELICOPTER PILOT with more in the pipeline how does this relate to the a Tank building process? Human capacity Basic Tank Technology has not changed much since 1945 TURRET CANNON SQUAT BODY : carrying 3/4 passengers TRACKS +WHEEL What has changed Weight ERA FCS Computer integrated systems Types of shells Where would NIGERIA start from a Company like Proforce would: 1. Produce a monocoque tracked vehicle as a start using a base model of a T72 2. Using 3D/ CAD / Digital animation , produce on computer two different prototypes 3. Where would they get the Steel/ / Press moulding technology : Easy South Africa , India 4. Key is not to start from scratch - don't re-invent the wheel start with a base model with no bells and whistles no sensors , manual loading and then move from there prototypes 1- 5 see what works and what doesn't 5. Follow the blue print of the NN They started with the NN Andoni they are on the SDB3 The Navy can tell you the process. 6. Get funding for research from the FG
No weapon bought by the NA is rushed into the field SOP the NA will train and train the Tank crews repeatedly before they go out into the field period of training is @%$# weeks Then they will be %^&* into the field also coro according to the NA set things back a little bit. make una get patience they didnt buy them to decorate BAUCHI small time don almost reach naw.
Kabe2: That's an old brochure, go through the recently updated one Toju200 posted.
How do you think they would go about building it, in your opinion?
If I were Proforce I would concentrate first on a Tracked Version with a Cannon. Then graduate by using a T72 as a base model start from there what would be difficult would be ERA Type of Cannon FCS Engine These are things that will have to be markedly different.
ok we take god beg una e don do now both una dey right naija self don tire for the a29 matter even yankee self no do again common housefly better pass the plane Plane only cost one kobo it is the best thing since slice bread i beg we move on naw aah haba.
Typo for sure. You can tell based on the max altitude of 8000 + ft oh well to each its own . if Turkey wants to attempt to join the big boys and bankrupt itself ..........
ugo4u: Damn see equipment abeg!!!!! We could lobby a third party via black market to buy up most of these abandoned hardwares especially the aircrafts, am very sure those Libyans will sell off most of these machines at giveaway prices. I think operations like these can be spear headed by the NIA. Some of these equipment (Aircrafts ) can't be operated by some of these rebels, offer them money and use NAF in a covert operations to airlifts these things. I know this isn't as easy as it might seem but it is doable.
when one looks at LIBYA It is hard to turn away less than 20 years ago their standard of living was rated one of the highest in the world ( no exaggeration) What it has been reduced to now is a sobering reality of a failed state where First World countries use it as a testing ground for their SF. It is sad.
cutievik: Really got me confused me with your explanations, well, to further clarify my question. I was asking if the location captured from the drone footage was actually showing NA positions or BHT location. This was promoted due to the trenches and sandbags as seen from the footage.
BAGA is a well known Sandy Area Yesterday the NA wrote a detailed report as to how they neutralized 20 ISWAP bh and captured 6AK AND 5 TYPE 36 grenades with KIA Today ISWAP released video the receiver of the video said he could not verify the location of the VIDEO Trust me on this the NAF and NA can VERIFY the location of those places for him. WAR is not a game ISWAP is daily suffering horrendous casualties some of them are being used as target practice in NIGER They can post glossy pictures and stage suicidal attacks on fobs ISWAP and BH if the momentum is sustained by the AFN is sustained and ramped up after the Rainy season is over are done FIRST Q 2021.
cutievik: True bro, @Kabe2 any video footage?? Trenches and sand bags were visible from the photos released. Raising the question; Were they troops or BHT elements being captured from the drone footage.
Please explain your question. Are the dead men not dead? Or is this not Baga vegetation? The drone footage is a static footage that represents one second of what goes on. In other words the attention span of a housefly. What happens afterwards is any average soldiers intelligence.
kemicalreact: So how did you get it when it's classified
It was a report of the operation that took place in the N’West. It also was stated shortly after one of the Officers NAF panthers was KIA.( Name deliberately withheld) He was in the Forefront of the Special Ops. @DonKlericuzo had access / information as to what happened. He shared it on Twitter. Nowhere in my thread did I tell I got the report. Personally for the record I will never share : Classified reports. Nigerian Soldiers KIA US Soldiers KIA
Odunayaw: But if I were to advise. I'd say NAF should chill on "swelling" the numbers. Attrition hasn't really affected the unit, so why the rush. Furthermore, expand the scope of the SF to include FAC/JTAC
GUYS before you start bagging on the NAF and NAF SOC
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gosthl6HKNo THEN UNDERSTAND Please go back and reread the last graduation ceremony of the NAF SF held 15th MAY 2020 2 SOC BAUCHI REF : BATTLEFIELD DISCUSSION by bIdexxi 12:03 MAY 16 GRADUATING CLASS 8th in the last 5 years which comes out to 1.6 classes /year (SF) For CSAR ( COMBAT SEARCH AND RESCUE) which is more complex this is the second set of graduates 1st set was in 2018 which comes out to 1.0 class/ 2years it also costs more to train CSARs overseas by the numbers SF @ the personnel screening: 275 @ the inaugural screening :to start course :117 @ graduation: 94 ( 5 officers and 89 airmen and women) CSAR : 35 STARTED :32 GRADUATED. THE NAF SF has at least on one occasion videotaped one of their classified ops in the N'WEST according to @don klericuzo where they were ambushed result : One officer was killed the rest of the team behaved professionally wiped out the ambush party and retrieved the officer's body.
Sam Can’t answer right now He is busy looking for the looting Soldiers Meanwhile Rugged and Highly disciplined Soldiers of the NA Destroyed the Logistics Base of BH @ Malam Fotori BH suffered heavy casualties. Photos will be coming your way shortly may be distressing to Owen Sam Oh who the heck cares wtf they think. Bidexii We need those pictures.

Unpopular opinion Dude was just getting started on his upcoming cSenior Career in the NA Next year would of seen him promoted to Lt Col and with that would of come a CO of at the very minimum a Battalion or even more. Now next year he will be in some rural fiefdom in Zamfara. If that is what he wants good for him . Not to enthusiastic about this .
Toju200: Niger Air force did d ISR while NAF did d striking
The results? Brilliant FLIR turned Night into day. Would pay a $Millions to know what was going through BH mindset as they crossed back into Nigeria and the first Missile tore into the first truck. Fear of God .
